They do a pretty decent job here. I like that even with paying just for a regular wash you can get interior vacuum included which at a lot of car wash spots they charge you extra to have it included or you have to do yourself. For my recent trip I purchased the Simoniz Ceramic Package which is their top package including mats wash, ceramic seal, hot wax, and all the services of the other packages for $40. It is a little bit pricey but it is worth the price for all the extras if you are not getting car washes often. They also offer detail packages of 4 washes at a 15% discount that doesn't expire if you are thinking of coming here again. The car wash runs super fast and the workers do the best they can. My car is black so the difference is night and day after I run it through this wash. read more

I've been bringing my car here for a while but noticed that the quality of their overall service has diminished. I brought my car in today to get washed/waxed etc and asked for additional attention to the interior. When I got the car back I noticed a significant scrape on the side of the care which thankfully buffed out, but in the inside there was a deep crack/scratch on the rear view mirror. When I brought it to the attention of the manager, he basically denied it and said there was no way they could've caused the damage. I suppose my gripe is just the diminishing quality of their service that ultimately ended in expensive damage to the interior to the car and they didn't seem to care. read more

It's so hard to find a full service carwash that is not a 3-figure detailing but my neighbor (who is a car guy) recommended this place so I was eager to check it out. I was a fan of the old Mr Wash in Arlington and (briefly) Bailey's X-Roads and SeCar is the best I've experienced since. They are very thorough with both the pre-wash vacuuming and post-wash wipe-down, even popping my trunk and gas cap cover for that unseen dirt. As a 1st-timer, I was confused by the dual tip jars - one going into the tunnel and another at the exit. Maybe tips are allocated to front- and back-end workers and we should tip twice? That's fine, but know that if you tip a full amount on the way in you will be presented with another tip jar on the way out. read more

Interior and Exterior Car Wash is what I expected with the wash book my husband had given me. They have apparently recently raised the prices and what was once an interior and exterior wash is now JUST an exterior wash, plus cursory vacuuming inside. They no longer clean the interior of the car - nothing! This is pretty expensive for just the exterior of the car and appear to have cut the number of staff working on the cars. I literally waited an hour and 45 minutes this afternoon. The conveyor belt broke, my car was stuck beneath the brushes on the wash track. Customers are lined up inside 13 long. No one explained the situation to us or offered any concession. When my car made it through after a partial wash, I still had to go over it with the finishing crew outside to get it clean. No apology, no thank you for waiting, no please come back and see us, it won't happen this next time, no here's a free wash on us, nothing. Nada. I was so grateful to get out of there and get my car off the belt. I was afraid of damage, but cannot find any as of yet. Not only was this inconvenient and inhospitable, I was actually afraid for my automobile. And no consideration from the employees or the manager or anyone. This used to be my go to, but lately the prices have increased and the quality has decreased. I took my car there yesterday and had the top line wash done. The service was slap dash at best. After I returned home I noticed the front window was still streaked and not hardly clean. I left the car and when my wife and I went out to diner later I opened the car and the smell of dirty dish towels just about knocked us over. Obviously, they hadn't cleaned or changed the cloth for some time. The spell was so bad it took our appetite away. It is very disappointing. I hope that with time the spell will dissipate on it's own but if not I will have to find some air freshener to resolve the issue. read more

I purchased the Ceramic Sealant Package for $39.99 with a $2 extra charge for my SUV. When the car was presented to me several areas were not clean, the windows inside and out were not washed. It was bizarre. I tried to wave over an attendant for help since they were busy with other cars. I was ignored. I went home, got a wet and dry towel and got some windex and cleaned the dirty spots myself. $42 poof, gone and I'm not happy. I will not go to this location again. read more

A bit pricy ($26 for a regular car wash), but worth the price. Regular car wash includes vacuuming the inside, car wash, and then hand dried at the end. A lot of car washes in the area do an okay job at the vacuuming and drying but these guys do a really great job. I have a white dog and a black carpeted vehicle so every hair shows. read more

So I've been here few time ,and they were always missing some little things .however today I'm really pissed I came sometime in mid May and they missed the dash board in general to wipe it out,in between seats holders were not touched at all.so today I decided to give them one more chance as I came I made sure that I told the guy, please make sure they clean it properly and guess what ,didn't happened!!!!!like does it really worth it of 30$ ?! Meh, well, okay. Not great, not terrible. I feel like the car washes here are all solidly mediocre and highly overpriced. There has yet to be one that I can say WOW, WHAT AN AMAZING JOB! Because quite frankly, I have not felt any of that here. When I got the car back I still noticed some wet leaves and dirt on the mudflaps of the car. That already for me was a letdown. The clincher for me was when the driver who put my car through the wash insulted me by saying "You should really pay to get the interior cleaned. It's really dirty." Wow. MYOB. I will not be back here. So far I think the best one I have been to was in Kingstowne. These guys let me down. read more

After years of declining service at my go-to car wash, I decided to take a chance on these guys. Arrived at about 8:45 on a Saturday morning, seemed pretty quiet. Wash is a tad bit pricey but the employees did a great job and my car came out looking great. Was pleased to see my wheels 100% clean. I hate to write a bad review, but this is NOT a brushless car wash. No where on their website indicate that they use a mechanical system that sweeps outside of car. My fault for assuming it is brushless, until it was too late. I decided to give them a try since I was in the area, and their machine damage my grand sport logo of my car. I am not a regular car wash visit gal, not by a long shot. Previously I had usually just gotten my vehicle cleaned when I got service at the dealership but I stopped using the dealership (long story). Anyway, I was finished an errand and as I walked out to my vehicle decided today was a good day for a wash. I had originally planned to visit a spot on Gallows Road but missed the turn in and headed down here instead. The guy who talked with me was nice. I went with the mid-grad clean. For the price I was really just looking to get the exterior cleaned and perhaps have a little shine. I was pleasantly surprised with the interior wipe down. I had a lot of stuff in the back as well as some books in the back seat which I had forgotten about. They picked up the books and did a good job with the back seat area. I agree with Gretchen F., it is nice getting to see it go by, not the same as riding in the vehicle for the washing as a kid but still sort of cool (& reassuring). While I am not weekly car wash gal now that I have tried this location it will become a little more regular. Thumbs up! read more

I thought I would give SeCar a try since all the carwashes near me make me do all the vacuuming and cleaning of the interior of the car. Not fun at all. Anyway, I went to SeCar and it was very easy and they did a nice job. Got the very basic car wash. First, some guys vacuumed the car. I have two small dogs who go to the dog park a couple times a week. The back seat and doors are covered with a film of dust and dirt. I came here expecting they would clean both the interior and exterior of the vehicle. In fact, I asked if they clean the interior--while I was sitting in the bay where the vacuums are. They said yes, they clean the interior. I got out of my car, and before I'd even made it to the door (less than 30 seconds), they were already pulling the car into the tunnel to wash the exterior. They vacuumed it for less than 30 seconds. I figured ok, when they get through the tunnel the guy who wipes it down will vacuum it again or wipe all that dust and dirt out of there. Nope. Brought it home and the seats hadn't even been vacuumed, much less the sides of the doors. It was still absolutely filthy. I spent 30 minutes cleaning it up myself--after paying SeCar to clean it. Total waste of money, folks. Go somewhere else. read more

Came with high expectations (because of previous reviews) but ended up with huge disappointments. This shop is quite pricy but most importantly their work performance was mediocre at best. Was charged $50 for a quick 5mins hand wash (no wax) + $10 extra for merely tearing up a tag from front window. Interior was vacuumed but not thoroughly, with dusts remained here and there. Job on exterior was worse - after their work, I had to clean quite a few remaining dots with my bare hands and had little help from the shop. I raised the questions to both the worker and the owner (seemingly) but they just left without any explanation. To anyone who's out there looking for car wash service, you can definitely find other places not far from there, with lower price and much better service. read more

Not impressed. I brought my car in because i parked under a tree a few nights ago and my car was covered in bird poop. Still is even after the $30 wash. I got back into my car after they said it was ready and absolutely nothing was wiped down. I asked her to please wipe down the middle console and she did, then i looked at the steering wheel which was also not touched. I asked if an interior wipe down was included in my car wash and she said yes... allright can you please wipe down the interior? Worst experience ever. Both of my cup holders were broken during the "wipe down" after the drive thru wash. When I spoke to the manager, David, he was very rude and argumentative. Used to come here all the time, but they must've changed owner or something because this place is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. First I asked for a regular car wash. Saw the receipt and saw I was charged the Hot Wax Package. Told the cashier that she charged me incorrectly. Told her I don't want to be paying for a Hot Wax Package but the people are only doing the Regular Wash. She told me that they are giving me the Hot Wax Package. Fine. As long I'm getting what I paid for. Got the car back and it's like my car wasn't even cleaned. Seemed like it was just sprayed under the water with no soap. And the wax? I'm almost positive I didn't get it. There was absolutely NO way I got what I paid for. Came back to complain and the Korean owner came to me saying that the Hot Wax Package is just a simple clean and hand wash. Like what??? There's absolutely no way the Hot Wax Package is a simple clean and wipe down. (I wished I took a picture of the packages but unfortunately I didn't, so I don't know what was part of the package). Then I told him even if it was a "simple clean" my car was NOT clean. I literally took him to my car and showed him. As you can see there was still visible dirt! Showed him that the windows weren't clean as well! There were streaks and dust everywhere. When he saw he obviously got embarrassed and got someone to clean it up and went into hiding. Didn't want to step outside until I was gone. WHAT A COWARD. No apologies or anything. I want my money back but obviously I'm not gonna get that. Even after the touch up by hand, I'm still not happy with the results. The guy that went to "re-clean" my car only did the passenger side. Didn't clean the driver side or the windows. I wished they just allowed my car to go back through the machine and then did the touch up/wipe down. At this point I was fed up and just left. So I wasted almost $40 on an absolutely BAD car wash. I've been a loyal customer of SeCar Auto Wash for 24 years. I patronized this establishment when it was under previous ownership (Stan as manager and his uncle as owner) and continued my patronage when the car wash came under new ownership/management in 2008. I've written positive reviews on SeCar in the past, which saddens me to share about an unfortunate experience that occurred with SeCar's manager yesterday. Never have I experienced or witnessed such disrespectful, unprofessional and unhinged behavior from a business owner or manager. When I pointed out to the manager some damage to my interior of my vehicle (that clearly occurred during the cleaning), he automatically denied that his staff had caused the damage - even without asking them. When I disagreed with his denial, he became loud and irate and started screaming. I immediately noticed the alarm and dismay of the other customers observing the situation as well as the embarrassment of his work crew. I asked him to calm down and stated that all I wanted was his staff to repair my interior door panel, which would have been an easy fix for his team. He continued to deny responsibility for the damage, loudly protesting at the top of his voice and frantically waving his hands about, refusing to do anything to rectify the situation. I asked him would this situation be worth losing a long-time loyal customer, and he loudly and emphatically responded "I don't care!" and stormed off, fussing and cussing as he went. Stunned by his actions and unprofessional behavior, I appealed to one of his workers, who compassionately listened to my concerns. The worker quickly and easily fixed the damage and I was on my way. While the outcome was ultimately favorable due to the actions of the compassionate staff member, the negative impression left by the manager is lasting and unforgettable. Other reviews I've read indicate that is apparently a pattern with this manager, one that i will not stick around to witness again. I'm done with SeCar. read more
