It might seem a bit expensive at first, but if you're looking to have your car look brand new from the inside out, it's definitely worth the investment. I'm super glad I chose to go to KP Touch to get my car cleaned! I called the morning of and managed to slip an appointment at noon. When I showed up, I told them that I would really like it if I can get my car cleaned up ASAP so I can get along with my day, and they pushed my car in queue and finished cleaning my car within an hour and a half. They took a look at my car, suggested what they should do (really just clean the exterior + wax it, and vacuum the interior), and I went with it. The interior of my car was generally clean, but they went ahead and also washed my floor mats and wiped down the the little things (air vents, cup holders, etc.). When I left, my car looked brand new- I'm super happy with the end results. :) NOTE: The car wash is in the public garage 4th floor (lowest floor). You have to pay $12 for parking, but with the cleaning option that I got, KP Touch deducted $12. read more

Excellent service at a reasonable price. I have an ECP ceramic coating on my car, so I don't usually get it detailed but I do like to do so every year or so. I was able to make an appointment on a Wednesday for a 9am the following morning. I dropped it off and worked at a nearby coffee shop throughout the day and it was done by the time I was done. They did ask me what time I planned to pick it up, but I had pretty much the entire day to spare until 4pm. When I went to pick it up, the car looked immaculate, even better than when I got the car brand new from the dealer! I couldn't find a single spot that wasn't flawless. Dropped off for a bug sap removal then come back to a chipped bumper from his compound buffing machine. Guy waived my $150 detailing cost but I'll now need to replace/repaint the bumper for $1500+. They recommended to report the vehicle for vandalism to my own personal insurance to pay for the fix, or "put a sticker to hide it". I would recommend go to another detailer who takes responsibility. read more

This place is amazing! Their customer service goes above and beyond! I was able to get an appointment the same day and the man I spoke with from the first call was so friendly and accommodating. I got the Buff and Wax package and my car (which hadn't been washed in over a year) looked brand new. I have been to other places that were more expensive and my car didn't look near as nice as it does after KP Touch. Like others said, the location is a bit confusing the first time, but it is very convenient. It is located right in Ballston, across from the new Quarter. These guys tried to rip me off - undisclosed on their website - they charge $25 extra if you have a dog. Claiming it's harder to clean up the hair. This seems reasonable but I have a dog that doesn't shed. I have the balls that we use at the dog park stored in the car. They saw them and thought they could charge me - even though there is no hair in the car - I have custom rubber carpets in the car. Further more they claimed it was it the back of my SUV. My dog gets in the back seat - no the back compartment. Additionally, the overall quality was IMHO was average at best. read more

I was looking for a good car wash and detail and I found this place listed as #1 in the area on yelp. The place is all the deep down and hidden in a building garage, which was inconvenient. I picked a $85 cleaning. They told me to come back after 4hours. The Exterior cleaning was good but inside the car many places were overlooked and untouched after the detail. Then I found an indentation in the interior door with water. Why? My usual $20 car wash was way better than their work. This place is way over rated. read more

To be fair I used KP touch once a month for about a year prior to COVID, all 4-5 star experiences. Unfortunately in my first post-COVID car cleaning I took the car in after a year of neglecting it and signed up for a package 5 which included interior cleaning, as the car really needed it. 1. In the interior cleaning, the cleaning solution they used dissolved the paint on the Mazda logo on the steering wheel- almost completely. It was perfect when it was taken in and is now it's almost totally peeled away. 2. They made zero mention of this when I picked it up and I didn't realize until out of the garage- I might have at least been given the opportunity to not leave a tip lol. 3. When I called in about the issue the guy who runs the place knew perfectly well it had happened and explained they had similar issues with their cleaning product on Mazda's and a few other manufacturers. Asking about a partial refund he generously offered a 10 dollars off on the next car wash. He also explained it was an older car (2016), so apparently destroying the interior pain is to be expected. The response to my call is what prompted me to post about it. If you're reading this I will say this is obviously an outlier experience- they do do good work. I'm not sure how much accountability can be expected from a car wash. But I'll also say I've only bothered to leave negative feedback 2-3 times in my adult life and it'll be a good couple of weeks before I'm not ticked off that that dude looked me in the eye while I was leaving a tip on a job where his people had just damaged my interior and said nothing about it. read more

I've gone to several other car places in the meantime that don't require appointments, and it's not even comparable to the quality that KP Touch delivers. Less than an hour ago, I picked up my car from KP Touch. I have to say, I'm very pleased with the results! The Honda I dropped off this morning was in rather sad shape (inside and out). I just bought a new car and on the way home hit some branches and got some scratches on the trunk. You can imagine how annoyed I was. I yelped car buffing and this place showed up. They had great reviews so I tried them out. They are located on the p4 level of an indoor garage. Once I arrived I was greeted by extra friendly staff. They saw the scratches right off the bat and reassured me that there would be no problem. Cecil is the man that buffed my car out and he was freaking awesome. He talked to me the whole time, explained what he was doing and had a great outlook on everything. Honestly, his energy and happiness for life made me happy. Every scratch was buffed out and the car looks brand new again. I have never been more impressed by any service, and that is truly saying a lot. Out spot, out! A tree exploded berry bombs on my car making it look like it got a wicked bad case of chicken pox. I asked for advice from a car dealership. They said rubbing alcohol. I tried it. The sweat dripped into my eye and I could not imagine another 72,000 hours spent rubbing the car. So I Yelped. I called and tried to explain the situation. Then I was there, driving into the National Electric association building (next to Vapiano's but from Taylor street which is the street with diagonal parking spots). I circled down into the bowels of the building. I kept digging. I was greeted with the sweat of hard labor, fog of humidity in a basement, and cheer of Richard and Cyril. Cyril was extremely excited about the prospect of rubbing the spots off my car. Dare I say, he has a fetish for the challenges you can bring him. He smiles so. Richard let me select the #3 Buff and Wax. He let me fill out the work order for $99. Cyril told me about how they could keep the prices down (free lights, water and juice from building). He told me how he liked getting reviewed. He said that 16 of the reviews online were of him! I went back 4.5 hours later. Cyril unplugged from his ipod, grinned from ear to ear as he said that he needed another 30 minutes. He also told me how the car had a nice finish so he had HAND BUFFED it because the machine would have been too hard on it. I told him that I would leave the car overnight and pick it up at 8 am. Next day at 7:50 am, I showed up. Cyril was still wiping down the inside of the car and continued to chat about prices and reviews. He proudly wiggled his thumbs in the air and told me, "I could barely move these last night." All because of my wax job. Cyril told me that he would eat the parking fee ($10) so my bill would be $89. He called over his colleague to hook up the credit card terminal. I explained that I had a checkbook with me (how archaic!) and that was just fine. Cyril mentioned how they took the negative Yelp reviews to heart. I asked him his name again. He explained that his mother had been reading Russian literature when pregnant and hence the name. He said that it had been tough as a kid but now it was nice. He continued to grin the whole time. Truly wax and shine! Sure, some of the spots are still there but 71,870 are gone. read more

They provide all these to not just cars, but for vans, SUVs, trucks, and boats! I usually stick to the Full Detail package, which is a complete detail package for a wonderful thorough cleaning of the interior and the exterior of the vehicle. It includes a hand wash and wax, application of the Carnauba wax, and interior shampooing. No matter how old/outdated/gross/ridiculously-dirty your car is, KP Touch will literally have you drive out of there with a car that seems brand spanking new, like out of a dealership lot! No joke! Mr. Eric was the detail specialist that did a fantastic job on my car; he was extremely detail-oriented, extremely meticulous, and very professional. You can tell that he puts a lot of time, effort, and energy into the vehicles he works on. Make sure you call and make an appointment, as this place does get busy. I highly suggest in you dropping off your car in the early morning (8AM) during the weekday, and leaving it there for a later pick-up at 5PM. Or, you can wander around the Ballston area, take the Metro back to wherever, etc. There is also a little 'lounge' area with some chairs and a TV, if you just want to wait for your car to be serviced. I paid for an interior shampoo ahead of time and made an appointment. Then when I tried to drive to the actual location, there was no KP Touch at that address at all. There were a bunch of other stores instead. Weird, right? So I called and was told by the man who answered that there was no sign for their business, and that the operation runs out of an unmarked parking garage on Taylor Street. (You'll see in other reviews here that the location is just strange.) I never did find it! So very frustrating. I asked for a refund over the phone and was told I'd receive one...we'll see what happens! Wouldn't recommend AT ALL. read more

My SUV was due for a clean-and-detail experience and so I set out to look for a local detailing place. My search criteria - Arlington, either walking distance to my office or near a metro. K.P. Touch is both - near work and near metro - so I decided to give them a try. They are located in Parking level P4 of the garage and first impression was good - stuff was organized and all clean! Dropped my car off, though the estimate over the phone went up $10 coz my truck was dirtier than what I had mentioned over the phone. That makes me unhappy as I am known to keep my vehicle clean! And seriously, when I am paying $155 for a detail job, does adding another $10 make any sense. An ohh by the way, you have to pay $10 to the parking garage guys on exit! I had a weird sense of being nickled and dimed here. But I decided to go with it... My truck was ready in 5 1/2 hours. I was impressed with the work done - she does look good now! They even knocked off $10 off the bill so that I could pay for parking and eventually did not charge me the extra $10 for my truck being super dirty :) I would have given them 5 stars except one BIG mistake that most car repair places make - smoke near a car being worked on. Now this place is in a parking garage = enclosed space. When I arrived to get my car, the doors were open - to dry out the interior. Well thats a good thing, but having people moke within 10 feet of the car is BAD news for me :( I drove the car for the next few hours with the smell of smoke in the car - very annoying! other than that - it was a good experience and will definitely try them again. read more

My experience was okay. Pros: my car looks better, I paid $200, they were able to remove all the bird poop stains, cleaned a stain on the driver seat, they took my car without an appointment. Cons: I had to pay $12 for parking, I told the guys about sticker marks and the marks were still there when pick it up. (I called them about it and they asked me to come back to remove them, but I will have to pay $6 for parking again) I got a little upset over that because I pointed out the sticker mark when I dropped my car off and it was still there when I picked it up. The garage is so dark that it will be hard to see a few things that you will realized when you drive back to the light. I wish they took the time to go around the car with you with a strong flash light explaining what they did or why they weren't able to get some marks out. It would be also helpful if they give you ideas to maintain your car. read more

My sister and I both happened to stop by National Harbor this weekend with no intention (or thought) or getting our cars cleaned while we had an early dinner. This was by far one of the best (absolute best) jobs we have seen, ever! We both purchased new cars a few months ago, and our cars were cleaner than when we purchased them off of the lot! So, I was not really thrilled with my KP Touch detailing. I had it done in late December, and then was sick for weeks, so I didn't call and let them know or write a review at that time. First, you should know that it is very very dark down in that garage, so you can't review the job until you're out of there. Wet. I picked it up, and the whole interior of the car was soaking wet--dripping wet. The cup holders facing the rear seats had standing water in them, and the seats were so sopping wet that I had to put down two towels, and STILL my ass and back got wet. Those clothes had to be dry cleaned subsequently. And I have heard a rattling from the dash like water got went into the machinery through the A/C air vents. Smell. In contrast to the fresh, clean smell I got form Detailz, my car smelled like dirty water. it smelled better when I dropped it off. I'm a non-smoker and don't eat in the car, and have no pets. I don't know what they do vis-a-vis recycling cleaning water, but this smell was gross. I had paid for full shampooing inside, and it is obvious that was not done in the hatchback and surrounding areas--in fact, they weren't even vacuumed. Quite a disappointment. read more

Amazing service and worth every penny. Their website does a good job of going over all the packages and plans. I usually splurge and go for a higher-end option because they do such an amazing job. You can go to any car wash to get a cheap and quick wash in 10 minutes but once you've tried KP Touch and car detailing, you will realize the significant difference between just a wash and the detailing. The finished product was truly amazing. One thing to note is that when you get your car back, the seats might be a little wet, because you know, they just cleaned it...So I'd recommend if you plan on having passengers in your car after your detailing to do the detailing and then have a buffer time so that you can allow the car to air out first. Based on other reviews, I came here for the first time earlier this week. I love a clean car and I decided to gift myself an expensive car cleaning for my birthday. I got package A for $35, plus the rain guard for an additional $6. I have a Toyota Camry, and mostly just care about having a clean interior, and Package A was a good fit for that, I didn't need anything extravagant, like the Executive Package. Normally I clean my car myself, but I don't have a garage and it is too cold to do it outside in the winter. It took about an hour and my car looks GORGEOUS! Even the trunk! -As the other reviews said you go to the entrance on N Taylor Street, and go down to level P4. -You must make an appointment! -You have to pay $10 for all day parking at the garage, and that same amount is taken off of your bill. -As they do vacuum the trunk, I recommend taking whatever junk you keep in there, and in the rest of your car, out. You don't have to take out everything, but the more you take out, the easier it will be for them to do a great job cleaning your car. read more
