I have been getting laser hair removal her for a couple years now. Everything from Brazilian to Armpits to Legs. I will never go anywhere else! My reasoning for this review: Fix is a better deal than other laser centers! Not only price wise, but because they increase the level of the laser based on your skin needs. Other laser places want you on a low level because they want you to pay more money and buy numerous sessions. Hence, it'll take much longer to see results... Fix wants you to get the best results possible and they are very thorough! Yes, you should still buy packages for touch ups, but you'll see incredible results about 2 weeks after the hair falls out. I personally love Pauline (She is from Poland) It was my first time having her as a technician. She was very professional, she pays attention to detail and never rushed me out of there. She listens and asked me questions. She asked why I wanted the laser level higher, I expressed that I get a better result. She then adjusted to my needs and tested an area before proceeding. She took her time and didn't miss an inch. It's been about 2 weeks since I've been there and I'm so smooth! She did an incredible job, thank you Pauline! Note: I buy the numbing cream and apply it about 2 hours before my session. I don't know how anyone does it without numbing cream!?! This is a must. There is no one else I would trust with my lips except Anahid. My first few experiences were with a plastic surgeon and a top nurse practitioner in Beverly Hills who charged a ridiculous amount. With the plastic surgeon I saw zero to no results and with the RN I was wasting gas, parking, a few extra hundreds not to mention my time. My father purchased a bunch of laser hair removal treatments from Fix when they first opened so I built a relationship with Anahid throughout the years and noticed she was also amazing at fillers when I saw my work so I gave her a try and she is AMAZING! I go to her once to twice a year only whereas before I had to go every 4-5 months to see results. Not to mention the prices at FIX are unbeatable. I loved that I was talked through a deal of the science and reasoning behind the requirements and behind how laser works on hair to reduce hair regrowth. The doctor and nurses made sure I was definitely safe to receive treatment, and they never tried to upsell me on anything, for which I cannot sufficiently express my extreme appreciation. Skillfully partnered to this restraint, they're very tasteful about keeping their clients informed of promotions, and when I called in, they always talked me through the best ways to get the most for my money. Often, if I came early or late to an appointment, they made sure I was accommodated excellently and usually managed to squeeze me in even if I didn't deserve the kindness. The little touches like the complimentary beverages and well presented snack refreshments give an extra touch of class to the venue. Most important, my treated areas are nearly hairless now. CAUTION for my laser peeps: This place DOESN'T USE liquid Nitrogen gas (N2) - like other places to minimize pain. This means you'll experience laser IN THE MOST PAINFUL WAY! I went here for my first laser treatment ever and it was so painful I had to breathe deeply for and kept asking the assistant to stop. Then I found another place with awesome monthly specials, really nice faculty and I discovered that most places use a very small squirt of liquid nitrogen drastically reducing the pain felt from the laser which convinced me to do the full Brazilian, legs, arms, upper lip and i between eye brows since the pain is tolerable with the N2. With out N2 FORGET IT!! It is one of the most single painfullest things I've experienced ! I felt so Bad because during my very last visit , I returned just to finish out the treatments i had already purchased, but had done laser in 7 places at the other salon that uses N2) I heard this poor girl shouting and almost screaming from the pain!!! I felt so bad for her!!! I asked an assistant why they didn't use N2 and she said it was because some people experienced an allergic reaction-_- I get that some people might, but I honestly felt the REALITY IS THAT THE OWNER IS SO CHEAP. He rather not purchase N2 and put people through the pain of laser - not even asking patients if they have any allergies . And ISNT THAT WHAT A CONSENT FORM IS FOR??? -also the location is very run down and old! Do your research their are MUCH better places to get your laser done with less pain. read more

I found this hidden place on Groupon with a good deal and purchased a package for full arms. It's located underground a shopping center and it's totally hard to find. The service is awful and the employees are disrespectful. After getting my first session my skin was burned with white bubbles as you see in the pictures and I got scared. I've been getting laser hair removal in other places but never seen this happen. Then I decided to give them another chance since I already paid and the second and third times was the same. My arms were burned horribly. Don't go there otherwise they will burn your skin as they did mine. I had started laser treatment before moving to California and needed to find someone to finish it. I noticed after my second treatment at Fix that during full bikini they weren't going over the upper thigh area. We're talking about an extra inch lower than what they were treating. I asked the lady to zap that area too and she insisted that it would be an extra $8 for upper thigh. This area should have been included. My second issue was that I was treated by two different people. The second lady was a little nuts with the laser. She would go over the area in straight lines and when she finished she would start swirling the laser around in a figure-8, oblivious that it's painful. I wouldn't go back. They're cheap and end result could be better else where. read more

I've had 5 sessions here and so far I am seeing some results. laser hair removal doesn't seem to be miraculous as it is taking some time for the hair removal. however, I've never gone anywhere else so I do not have a point of comparison. About half of the hair is gone after 5 sessions. and it's worth it because it takes about a month for my hair to grow back anyways, so it's kind of like getting a bikini wax with more permanent results! Be sure to park on the lower level that is shaded! The centre is RIGHT there! On my first visit, I came in just after my appointment time and had to fill out a 9 page form, so it might help if you arrive a little earlier. There were magazines on the table and I managed to flip thru the whole GQ. After about a 15 minute wait, I was called in. Every subsequent visit after there has been virtually no wait! I also like the call/email reminders they send out! If you are getting laser hair removal, be sure to shave all the parts that you want lasered off, ideally 48-24 hours beforehand. The nurse went through a brief consultation and you pretty much strip the part you want lasered and lie down in front of her. There was no robe to change into or anything. She had gloves on and handed me glasses. She was pretty gentle, so I didn't think it hurt that much. Some pain is to be expected though. I do epilate regularly and have a high tolerance of pain, the level was around the same as tweezing. It has also gotten more painful as the nurses used stronger settings. I do find the burnt smell weird though but that's unavoidable? The clinic uses the Candela Gentle Yag laser machine and it blows cold air while lasering your skin. They do have deals and whatnot sometimes but I think their general prices are low enough! *** Tip: wait 8 instead of their recommended 5 weeks in between sessions! also SHAVE! make appointments for your next laser there as weekends are always booked up. you can always call them to cancel. I'd have to agree that this place is a bit hard to find if you don't know the area. Each time I come here, I'm coming from a different freeway so I almost always get lost on the way here. And if it's your first time at this place, it is located on the bottom floor so you have to make your way under the visible buildings. This place is honestly the cheapest place I have been to and I really do see the results. I would say the facility is kept pretty clean. The thing I like most about this place is their store hours. I work at an office on weekdays, so them being open till 8 is definitely a huge plus for me. I haven't come across any problems with scheduling appointments either, I usually can set an appointment within 2 weeks at the most. But be aware that you still have to wait for your appointment even when you get there on time, sometimes even when you get there early you have to wait a few. I've also noticed that they have new nurses ALL the time, I've been here 5 times and I've never seen the same nurse. Some of them are nicer than others, but I never get their names because I won't see them again anyway. OH! They get a negative star for lack of privacy. If they would just step out for just a minute for you to get undressed, I think I'd be a little bit more comfortable with this place. read more

First let me say that the nurse is really nice and I appreciate her greatly. But my first experience at Fix was a disappointing, to say the least. I'M NEVER GOING BACK TO THIS HELL HOLE! The building is not well marked and when you make the appointment the receptionist didn't specify that it's a bit hard to find. I found it a few minutes later, after walking through the top floor first. (The sign makes it seem like it might be upstairs, it's not. It's downstairs around the corner, or through the 1st level parking lot.) Despite not being able to find the place, I got there on time. Then I waited an hour to get in to see the nurse for a 10 minute procedure. Why did I make an appointment for a certain time if I'm not going to be seen at that time?! The place is dingy, there are two waiting rooms and I kind of feel like no amount of paint or fancy coffee machine would make it better. The two receptionists made no disguise of talking about clients after getting off the phone. And there was a man yelling from a room at the staff!! They don't have the courtesy to speak to each other in a professional manner, how much more for customers?! What a horrible experience. If you want to change your appointment, better plan out two months ahead of time. These people leave no room for flexibility!! Their next appointment is in the middle of May... It's not even April!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All the other med spas I've been to have been clean, courteous, professional... and this place is like going to get my hair removed at an illegal clinic in a 3rd world country. This place has a lot to work on. I would suggest starting with a customer service workshop for the reception team and whoever that guy was that couldn't walk over to someone to talk to them instead of yelling. Seriously horrible. I have been here for 6 laser treatments. I bought a groupon for underarms which was an outstanding price at only $125! That breaks down to only $20 per treatment. Fix made three things quite clear to me (perhaps other patients did not listen)? #1 Fix warned me that because I'm blonde laser may not work for me. No problem, I'll take my chances. #2 Fix warned me that ANY tan or spray tan residue on my skin could cause the laser to sense that as hair and burn my skin. They even sent me away once just to be safe. From my experience, if you listen to and follow their instructions you will have a good experience here. #3 Fix told me that the groupon is valid for 6 months however they would extend it to one year for me if I could show the email of my groupon purchase date. I found Fix to be very fair. As far as the actual technicians who performed the laser hair removal, all were very quick and repeated instructions for later that day. I had no complaints with the treatments what so ever. As far as the results, so far I have to shave only about 1/4 as often as I used to. I have purchased an additional 2 treatments ($45 total) and hope that will limit the amount I need to shave by even more. One more tip- the first session or two for some reason seemed like it hurt worse than the next 4 after that. So stick with it. It's not really painful, it sort of feels like rubber bands snapping you. You can buy numbing cream there, but I bought it on amazon for about 1/4 the price. read more

I was reluctant to come here after reading reviews. But once again, I was lured by the $99 Groupon for 6 laser removal treatments for two "small areas". Yes, the location is on a shopping mall strip. Yes, it is a little weird when the place laser removing your hairs is in the basement/lower level of a mall strip. Yes, North Glendale is nothing like Hollywood. And yes, their furniture screams Ikea (but hey, I like Ikea lol). But! The staff is amazing. The front office staff is friendly and accommodating (told them I was going to be 15-20 mins late because there was traffic coming from West LA and they took me w/ no problem). They also call you a day before to remind you about your appointment, which I think is great even though my google calendar keeps me pretty organized. The office and treatment area is very clean. The treatment is done by RNs (not estheticians like other places) who are very nice, and informative. My first session I was given brief overview of laser removal and I got to ask as many questions as I wanted to. Second session, didn't need the intro but still was encouraged to ask any questions. The actual procedure itself was painless - got my underarms and upper lip done. The machine has this immediate "cooling sensation" which really helps w/ the little pain it causes. I have had laser removal of my bikini area at another laser removal place which was more painful (the used the gel instead). The machine they use at Fix Wellness is newer compared to other places, much more gentle, but still very effective. Two treatments later -- I am virtually hairless (not to mention addicted to laser hair removal)! I've done a lot of comparison and the prices here (original prices, not groupon) are significantly cheaper than other places. I would definitely pay their retail prices for their laser removal services (and probably will! Groupons can only get you so far sometimes. :) 5 stars because they are amazing, results are amazing, and their prices are amazing. :) read more

I was late to my appointment, I called, and was given correct directions, was told to take my time and be safe (it was rainy and snowy that day) and when I arrived they were very sweet and told me to relax before my appointment. The nurse was very sweet, even made me laugh during my treatment (since it was my first ever, I consider that impressive!) Fix Wellness is an awesome place to get your laser done. PERIOD. I've been going to this spot for about six months already getting treatments done and wow do i see results. I've tried many different laser treatment centers but Fix is just a great center, let me tell you why:!:! It's clean, the staff is too nice, they make you feel comfortable during your sessions, the location is great, parking is easy and private, rooms are clean and large, prices are great, setting appointments are easy and quick they call and remind you about a day or two before your appointment. I can go on.... Overall the experience is great and all that matters is that you see results. One thing thats weird is that i always see a new nurse every time i go in, iv never seen the same nurse do a treatment consecutively, which does matter. You want to build that comfort with a specific nurse. Good thing is all the nurses i had dealt with have all been great, no complaints at all. Do the whole 15 min and get a lot of areas done within that time frame. Give Fix Wellness a shot, they also have other treatments like facials, chiropractors, acne treatments, etc. They specialize in and are well-known in. I'll be getting my mom her mothers day gift from here. O yah and I saw a Yelp sticker on there front door. What does that mean? I'm not so sure. Clean. Friendly. Professional. If I only got 3 words, that's how I would describe this place. The office, treatment room, and bathroom were SPOTLESS! That really inspires confidence when you're exposing your private parts for hair removal. The receptionist was very nice. This was my very first laser experience so she spoke with me and really helped me relax. Also, I had to wait for a bit and I overheard her speaking with a customer who was mistaken about the yelp deal she purchased. The customer was pretty upset (because she misread the deal btw) but the receptionist spoke with her firmly and respectfully and diffused what could have been an ugly situation. So, the front desk staff was professional and the technician who did my treatment was too. Before I removed any clothing, she sat me down and gave me a full consultation. She told me what to expect during the treatment and immediately after, how to care for my skin afterward, and what to expect after the full course of treatments. She even noted that I took ibuprofen and told me that that might affect my results. During the treatment she was very attentive to my pain tolerance. She started on a low setting and turned it up after said I felt ok to do so. She also gave me a head's up when she got to areas that are usually the most painful to treat, (I got full bikini done). I must say that I'm pretty impressed with this place and the professionalism of the staff. I had such a good experience, I scheduled my next appt before I left the office and I decided to get my underarms done too!. I never had a problem with changing my appointment or with the lasers at this place. I bought a Groupon and have been gone for 3 treatments. I was extremely late once due to a car accident on the 110 and they were great about accommodating me (saw me in 10 min after I arrived). Another time, I wanted to switch my appointment from an afternoon time to a morning time 2 days before my appointment, and they were able to change it for me. The laser is painful (as expected) but I've never ended up with blisters or extreme redness post-procedure. I was nervous before going since I've read a lot of horror stories about other places but this place has been great. The monthly specials are nice too - I've been adding other areas for treatment. I'd highly recommend this place. It's SLIGHTLY difficult to find but I had no issues besides the initial "where the heck am I". Parking's been easy too - just remember there's a farmers' market nearby on Saturday mornings so leave a little more time to look for parking if their marked spots are full. read more

Stop all the hate, this place is great! Let me give a little backstory... I recently bought a Groupon ($99 for 3 bikini laser treatments) at a super posh place in Manhattan Beach. Bleck!!! The machine was beyond painful, the receptionist was extremely snotty and kept trying to upsell me on Botox... I'm only 23! Plus after 3 excruciating visits I was seeing only patches of hair fall out. $99 for a warped Chia-Pet bikini line was NOT my idea of a good time. My poor boyfriend... So needless to say my laser hair removal experience so far was not pleasant. However after searching place after place and being floored by how expensive it is I came up on Fix Wellness Center's Groupon deal ($99 for 5 treatments on a medium area) and decided to give it a re-try. After what I had been through it couldn't get much worse..... YAAAAAAYYYYY!!!!! This place turned out to be so awesome! Their machine is WAY less painful, and the treatments are administered by RN's that tell you exactly what they're doing. Plus, they get in and get the job done if you know what I mean. :) I saw awesome results after a week and after my 5th treatment I am almost hair free everywhere in that area! I'm going to get one more just for safety- which is totally affordable because their regular prices are far below what everyone else is charging. While this isn't the most glamorous office around- the staff is super friendly and helpful. I've been late on several occasions and they've always accommodated me. To sum it up... I started out with a groupon-er. I did my full bikini a couple of years ago and to this day i still enjoy telling people that i don't have to shave down there. I mean you kind of do, like once every blue moon. You have to get touch ups but overall my experience has been awesome. I started getting ALOT of thick hairs on my chin (on the hind side of 25). I went to Fix had about 5 sessions and they have not come back. I have since done my underarms, full face, neck and and happy trail. I am mocha skinned so it was hard to find a place that would be able to work with my skin. But this place is GREAT. All of the nurses are full capable and super personable and respectful. Tried this place after buying a Groupon, and I am definitely happy with my purchase. I've done 2/5 treatments so far. I've encountered a range of staff here, from super friendly to somewhat curt, but nothing that has been impolite or has bothered me. I'm not coming here to make friends, anyhow. There's plenty of parking and it's really not hard to find. The facilities are clean, professional, and welcoming. It's more like a boutique doctor's office than a spa, but it doesn't feel like a medical clinic. You can have good prices or you can have a spa, but I really don't think you can have both. The laser doesn't hurt as much as I expected (I'm always asking them to crank it up), and they seem really careful in making sure they select the correct setting for your skin tone, which is comforting. I didn't notice much regrowth after my first session at all, which is great! They're also quick, which is nice. Last time I came in, my appointment was at 2:15, but I arrived at 1:55 or so. They took me in and I was done with my treatment, out the door, and on the freeway halfway home by my appointment time. Very pleased. Also, ladies going for the bikini line - just a tip: if you're hoping not to strip down completely, wear small flesh-toned underwear. If you wear dark-colored underwear, they'll make you take it off because the laser could burn it (since it targets dark pigments). Some people are bothered by nudity, so if you are one of them, just keep that in mind. :) Update: Just finished my last Groupon appointment. The treatments were fairly effective (I had 5, although I could probably use 1 or 2 more). I'll definitely keep an eye out for their future offers, and would totally come back here. read more

I purchased the Groupon laser hair removal deal and so far so good. This is my first time getting laser and I'm getting my entire torso done, abs, chest, lower neck. They have free parking in the back which is nice. You should know that this is just a shopping center setup, and the place is in the basement like a bare bones medical office and not a spa. Everything seems neat and clean and the service was friendly. My nurse who did the procedure was very friendly and smiled alot. She outlined the areas to be lasered carefully. Yes, the laser hurt at first and I asked her to turn it down a bit which was fine. The rest of the procedure was fine. When I got home and the next day I noticed some loose hairs come out which was great. I have 4 more procedures so I'll see how effective it is. read more

I'm feeling generous. I have 5 more sessions to go with Fix, so this is based on a 1 for 1 experience comparing Aesthetic Edge to Fix Wellness: 1 with Aesthetic Edge 1 with Fix Wellness 1st experience was as follows: Aesthetic Edge (in Redondo) had polite, considerate, professional, and an acutely aware staff. The woman that performed the laser hair removal took her time to try to rubber-band-snap as many hairs out of their follicles as possible. I very much felt the rubber-band-snapping. 2nd experience (1st with Fix): Fix Wellness (in Montrose) had sufficient, standard, and a swift staff. They want you in and out. I felt rushed through and through. I did 2 different areas and was done 5 times faster than my 1 area in Aesthetic Edge. No kidding, 2 minutes for underarms and bikini combined. Realistically, I probably felt a baker's dozen rubber-band-snaps (dough-boy-snaps --all but a couple on the bikini were super soft). With Aesthetic Edge I was given a numbing gel before the procedure and a soothing cream after. With Fix I was given Cosco hydrocortisone after. Maybe it was the same cream at Aesthetic, but aesthetically speaking, it was presented as though they cared about me and my burning flesh. The day after Aesthetic I was black hairs had fallen out. It has been three days post Fix and I have honestly seen no hairs fallen out. Aesthetic was more expensive. Aesthetic was also through a yelp deal. I feel as though Aesthetic really tried to give you your money's worth. Fix is less expensive. Fix has me for 5 more sessions. I feel as though Fix is trying to stretch 2 real sessions into 6 flash second sessions. Will update at the end of my sessions. read more

I get really tired of reading these negative reviews on yelp, especially from Groupon folks. This place is absolutely terrific-hands down! What more does one expect? I started LASER treatments 8 years ago at 2 other establishments before finding Fix Wellness through a girlfriend. I live 30 minutes away but she said the prices were AMAZING. She was right. Also, I found the nurse to be very thorough. She marked each area that she lasered so she would not miss anything. Nobody had ever done this prior to coming to Fix Laser. I would also like to add that I have always had to spend extra $$$ on numbing cream before my treatments. I did not have to do this here because they have invested in a Laser machine that must be state of the art because it is virtually pain free. I once thought I was ugly and then I found Fix Laser and Skin Center who extracted the beauty from my ugly. In all seriousness, I found Fix Laser through a friend who had suggested getting the Anti-Aging Skin Tightening treatment. I wanted to wait a week to give a full review because I wanted to give an honest review of the entire experience including recovery time. The experience was relatively painless and very pleasant. I was greeted by the receptionist who greeted me and gave me a rundown of their operations. Since I was a first time client, she had me sign a few release and acknowledgments using one of their IPads. Afterwards, I was taken into one of the rooms where the esthetician, had a few questions regarding allergies and other possible skin issues. She then quickly gave me a quick run down of the procedure and how to care for my skin after the procedure. Once she started the procedure, she did a great job of explaining where she was going to use the laser and kept checking in to make sure I was comfortable. The entire procedure probably took less than 20 minutes and as soon as I was finished I saw immediate results. My skin was glowing and even though the esthetician told me it would take a few procedures to see results, I noticed it right away especially around my eyes where I had crows feet. After a week, my skin definitely looks brighter and tighter. I really am excited about this procedure and definitely would recommend it to my friends and family. I will be coming back!! read more

I came here because of a Groupon Deal. I got 3 treatments on my full legs and 5 treatments on my full bikini, so I have been here 5 times. I am black with dark skin and dark hair, so they had to use a different laser on me. The laser was virtually painless since it has a cooling system on it. I have had 4 different nurses and they were all very friendly and made sure I was comfortable. I have noticed less hair in both areas, but I need more treatments. I went in for laser hair removal yesterday after purchasing a special on Groupon and this place was amazing! This was not my first experience with laser hair removal, so I can give honest review compared to other places I've been. It started with the person that answered the phone to make my appointment. He made sure I knew everything I needed to know in preparation for my appointment. Then when I arrived I was courteously greeted by the staff and the office was very clean, well organized, with complimentary refreshments. The best part was the nurse (RN). Her name was Paulette and she was extremely thorough. Seeing as though I've had several laser treatments in the past, she could of just skipped over the education component but she didn't. I learned so much about how to care for my skin pre and post treatment that I hadn't been told anywhere else. Also, she explained to me what settings on the laser she was going to use and that it was specially programmed for my skin type (African American). The laser has a cooling mechanism that blows cold air as it lasers for optimal comfort. Other than the 45 minute drive from LA, I have no complaints. I will definitely be coming back. read more

I have been a loyal customer here since 2012. It all started off with a groupon (I'm a risk taker) I was lucky and chose an amazing place. The machines they have are the latest and greatest. I have referred numerous friends here since I have joined. I used to live much closer to the place and now I drive over an hour just to go there because I know they do an amazing job. My favorite go-to nurse is Noemi. She is patient, knowledgeable, and she goes over the areas with great detail. She will ask you to go to the next level but will always check to make sure you are okay. They are quick and great with texting to confirm your appointments. They are always polite at the front desk too! My results are amazing! I am almost at the touch up phase with all my areas so its great. Love this place! Hair grows back significantly thinner with each treatment. Even though laser does take multiple treatments to be effective, the prices at this place are comparable to waxing!! And the monthly deals are an added bonus. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes to be seen, and usually am out in about 30 minutes. If you are shy, you may be put off by the fact that the nurses don't leave the room while you are getting undressed, but personally it doesn't bother me. Nicole is the best! She is so sweet and friendly. She will make a point to chat with you to distract from focusing on the discomfort of the laser, which is so nice. I had a one-hour massage with Lisa on Friday afternoon. Pros: They were able to fit me in on short notice, it's reasonable ($44) and parking is close to the facility and free Cons: All the men standing outside smoking when you walk in (I guess they work next door) and I could hear everything going on in the reception area during my massage since I was in the room nearest it The masage was good, not great. She did a lot of shaking, where she put both hands on a part of my body and moved them (and my body) around by moving them in a circular motion. I'm not sure what this technique is for - alignment maybe? - but I didn't really like it. read more

This is an excellent place for laser hair removal. I'm on my last treatment of my lower legs and I've only shaved my legs once in the past month and a half. If you live in the area, it's a great option. My only qualm is that one of the ladies who performs the procedure could be a bit nicer. She's not the friendliest. I had my first laser experience here at Fix! I used a groupon and it was extremely affordable. It was easy to make appointments with them after each session and they also send text reminders. I've never had a bad experience with any of the staff. They're always so kind and friendly! I did remove one star because after my 6 sessions, my hair started growing back pretty quickly :( it's still way better than it was in the first place but about a few months later I've had some re growth that isn't just light "fuzz". I also remember the nurse saw my chart during the 4th session and noticed that they had not been strengthening the laser for me, and so I think that is why my hair has grown back so soon. I'm a little disappointed but I had such good service that I will probably still come back to Fix! My biggest tip is to schedule around your period because it hurts a lot more during that time! read more

My husband and I each bought Groupons for my arm pits and his shoulders. We've only gone to our 1st treatment out of 6, but so far, so good! The hardest part is making the initial appointment as they have you consult with their RN to explain the procedure. It took us months to get an appointment but it was well worth the wait. Even just after our 1st visit, we've barely had to shave. I used to shave my arm pits every day or two...seriously. I was so satisfied with their services that I ended up buying a bikini line removal off their normally priced list in addition to my 2nd session. A bit scared for the bikini line removal! Arm pits didn't hurt, just tickled, but my husband was wincing as his shoulders were being done. I think any area close to bone is extra sensitive. They provided hydrocortisone and ice packs afterwards. read more

I have been to a few different laser centers and this is one I would return to. I have had two sessions here so far and LOVE the results. Both times I have had the same nurse ( I can't believe I can't remember her name). She is super friendly and very knowledgable with laser hair removal. Sure, she didn't step out of the room when I undressed but neither have any other nurses at other laser centers. I mean, they are going to see you naked/ partially naked anyways. I guess we all have different comfort levels (but it's not like they watch you undress). All laser centers usually use the same aloe gel/ cortisone cream for everyone. I usually get it on a piece of gauze or they apply it for me (not making direct contact). I have taken my own gel in the past just in case they don't offer any or it is something I am uncomfotable appyling. Breakdown of Pros: * I have never waited longer than 5 mins. from my scheduled app. time * Friendly/ Knowledgable nurse * Visible results * Coffee/ Water * Clean * Plenty of parking * Across from the Coffee Bean (for whenever I need a coffee/ sugar fix) Cons: * It is hidden in the bottom corner of the shopping center (but after the first visit you're good) read more
