I was burned during my laser hair removal treatment. And that honestly is not why I'm giving this business a bad review. I'm giving the bad review because of how I was treated by the owner. After I called later that day once the burns started to develop the receptionist took my phone number and said she would have the owner call me to discuss what happened. Well he did call me and he was seriously the rudest person I have ever spoken to business wise. He would not let me finish not one of my sentences before interrupting me and asking "Where did you buy your sessions? Online or in our place? It's a simple question?" I wasn't even talking to him about payment, but wanted to explain what happened. Then he said "I'm busy and don't have time for this". I was in SHOCK that the conversation was going so terribly. Did I get a refund, yes, I did. But to me it wasn't even about the money. If I could do more to report his behavior I would. But for now I will just warn anyone about going here. The owner is a disgraceful human. I posted a picture of the burns I received from my laser hair treatment. I'm glad you have the recording so everyone can see what a liar you are because I DID NOT RUN. I TOLD Lidia I was taking the container because you all were trying to give me cream in an unmarked bottle and I wanted the actual cream with the name on it to show my dermatologist so please show the recording. I didn't steal it. And I DID NOT GET REFUNDED FROM GROUPON. you are a liar. I. Light my voucher from living social not Groupon. And I didn't even call them about this. So why are you lying? Trying to save face. Please everyone see what a horrible person he is threatening to call the police on me because of an honest review I gave of his terrible treatment and accusing me of stealing a cream that was given to me to treat my burns. Had a little situation going on where I was called 15 min before my appointment time saying it had to be canceled. Obviously I was upset, but the owner was very professional and reached out to me. She apologized and definitely made things right. Basically, the owner stepped up to the plate and understood my side, the customers side. She told me that she herself is a customer at many places and understands both the owner and customers side. How awesome is that! She really talks to you on a human level and not just as a dollar sign, I love a place like that. We can name 100 laser places in just Glendale alone, but you know what makes this place stand out? Customer service! You are not just thrown in a room, laser zapped quickly and taken back out. Not to mention names but there is a very popular place that treats people like cattle and can you believe they have a phone number, a different line for "missed spots?" I've been lasering at Express for a few months now and I have never seen better results. But besides lasering, they truly are a one stop cosmetic shop! Today was my first time visiting this Spa and let me tell you that they know exactly what they are doing. I was greeted warmly by the receptionist and was offered something to drink while I waited for my appointment. They had plenty of magazines to read while I waited, the establishment was spotless. I had my facial treatment done by Lida, she was wonderful, knowledgeable and very patient. I consider myself pretty savvy when it comes to facial treatments and procedures as I have done plenty through the years. Lida made me feel comfortable through out the entire process. They have only one machine that constantly stops mid session. It's ineffective and after a session the hair doesn't even fall off despite being on a high setting. I did get burned despite that. So avoid this place. It's completely ineffectual and if you're like me on a groupon, it's a waste of money. I think they managed to get some low quality, second hand machinery from somewhere and now hoping to make money off it. read more

Purchased a groupon voucher for 6 laser hair removal treatments on a medium area about a month ago and have been calling several times out of the week and only get a voice mail of which I haven't ever received a call back. I would completely recommend this place!!! I went to get laser hair removal (bikini and armpits) and it was very quick and not even painful. I would say in scale from 1-10 the pain was about a 2 and in a small area went to 5ish. The nurse was very friendly and she tried to make a conversation with me just so I wasn't that scared. She explained that I could see results after my 6th or 8th session (meaning the best results). I liked the fact that I was able to add one more area for a very reasonable price!! Very affordable and clean. The one thing I wasn't that happy about is that I was the last appointment and they were closing so I kinda felt a little rushed. Unfortunately, I can't make my appointments earlier because of my job. Overall, it was a great experience and I would totally recommend this place. I'm going back soon!!!!!! Well what can I say about this wonderful place! I went in yesterday to laser my legs and my sideburns and I must say it was painless and quick! My nurse was so welcoming and explained everything which made made me feel more at ease, I was a little nervous to be getting my legs lasered but it was the easiest process ever! I can't wait to come for my other sessions! Not only is the staff very helpful but the prices are quite affordable! I heard about this place through Groupon. They were having amazing deals like $190 for 6 treatments on 2 large body areas. When I arrived at the laser center, it was a joint operation with a neurological clinic and I had to check in through the other clinic. I was apparently double scheduled with another laser patient so I had to wait 40+ minutes until I was able to be taken care of (which was a little annoying). Once I was taken in, Nurse Stacey was friendly. In the middle of my treatment, the machine started to malfunction and I was sent home with an incomplete job...I was a little agitated at that point. Then Arsen, the owner called me and told me that I was able to come in a few days later to finish my treatment and he included a free small area (which was nice). The second time I came in, Nurse Lena was also very friendly and professional (would definitely recommend her). She came into the office just to do my treatment which was very nice. My very first appointment went terrible, but the second time I came in, it was very pleasant. I hope the next time I have an appointment, I will be able to finish my treatment within one session. Arsen, the owner is also very nice and personable. Express laser spa is worth the price, as I have gone to other laser clinics like Prolase in the area. Would recommend this place! read more

This was my first facial ever and I'm so happy I stumbled on Express Spa. The front of office lady was so sweet when booking my appt over the phone. She was able to answer my millions of questions at ease and with a smile in her voice. When I arrived it was the same girl and I was happy to meet the face behind the awesome service. Lyda was my facialist and she too met the same energy. She made sure to explain whatever she did from extracting to the enzymes used in the different kinds of facials and what peel would work best for my skin type.
