Movses and his team are excellent to work with. My wife and I just had them replace our front door and we're very happy with the result. Movses is very friendly and responsive and we felt like he gave us a fair deal. We plan to work with him again for other house projects. Highly recommend. read more

Had The Handyman La Crescenta come out for a small repair job, and overall the experience was pretty good. He showed up on time, explained what needed to be done, and worked steadily without dragging things out. The quality of the fix looks solid, though the pricing felt a bit on the higher side for the scope of the work. Still, everything was finished cleanly and the issue hasn't come back, so I can't complain too much. read more

Wonderful experience. He was effective, efficient, resourceful, and a really nice guy to boot. Highly recommend!

Movses is prompt, professional, does great work at a reasonable price. He has helped me at two different houses with adjusting problematic entry doors, securing a loose carpet edge, and replacing broken ceramic floor tiles. I will definitely be calling on him for all jobs big and small in the future. read more

Needed ceilings repaired from roof leak. Also needed mini blinds and cat gate installed. Movses and his crew did an excellent job in a timely manner. Very professional and accommodating. If you're looking for handyman services, look no further... he is the best! Linda A read more

I'd give zero stars if I could. He did such a horrible job, leaving nails hanging out and uneven surface. My door closes worse now. Needed a door frame replaced as it cracked. After he took off the old nails and screws he littered them on my front lawn. I only noticed because I stepped in a nail wearing shoes, and I went back to watch my front door camera footage to see him throwing it on my grass. Not to mention, he canceled on me twice and was late. Take your money elsewhere and screw this lazy bastard. This was a 350 dollar job. read more

I would give 4.5 stars over 5 because it was a bit challenging to schedule an appt, and when it was scheduled I received a few confusing messages about the date and time he could come. After moving past that I'd say Movses was excellent. Most handymen don't even call you back. He always answered so thats a win in my book! My tenant said he showed up on time and was knowledgeable and fixed her door perfectly. I will use him again. read more

Great job and great price a couple years ago waterproofing our decking. With 4" of rain this week glad we used him.

Moses responded quickly to my issue the day I called. We talked the next morning and John came out at a time that was right for us that day. He called before he came out. He was wearing a mask and was professional in every way. He analyzed our cabinet door issue and finished his work in just over an hour. We are very grateful to Moses and to John. read more

Love how they showed up in a mask and presented themselves very professionally. Their prices was fair and their service was good. I would recommend the service if you need small things done around your house. read more

Called Movses for a small renovation to alter a closet in our guest room. The previous alteration was strange and despite working off of the architectural drawings, we were not entirely what was behind the walls. It turned out my desired plans were not possible due to some structural beams and support. Movses discovered this by crawling around the attic and making the minimum amount of mess before any demolition. We regrouped and came up with a new solution. He then improved on it by taking an unwanted door frame and door to use on the new closet. This frame and door style would have been impossible to find given the age of the house. The work was well done. We would definitely use him again. read more

Moves did a hardwood floor repair job in our house. Water had leaked out and damaged some boards and trim. Reasonable price and the got it done nicely. read more

I definitely would not recommend Movses. He showed up at my house without any tools (not even a tape measure), then left telling me he'd be in touch in a few days with quotes for the repairs. Then was never heard from again. Never even responded to my texts for follow up. Very unprofessional and a waste of time. read more

Movses replaced the doors and doorframe for my shed. He dud a great job at a great price! I would definitely use him again!

Movses is the best! He made 2 visits to my home to install a new faucet, spout and shower head in my bathroom. I had the fiberglass tub refinished which required that all fixtures be removed. He did that and came back 2 days later to install the new ones. Plus made a special trip to Home Depot because I didn't have everything that was needed. Well...I called him, made an appointment, confirmed the date and time, and guess what...he didn't show up. He didn't even call to cancel, reschedule, or apologize! AWESOME!!! These guys are great! I hired the Handyman La Crescenta (sorry forgot his name) to do several jobs in my house including hanging of 2 ceiling fans, repair of large cabinet door, and some minor electrical work. He came with his father and got the job done very very well. They took every effort to help me to save as much money as possible without taking any kinds of shortcuts. I will definitely ask Mouses and his partner Matt to come back. They were flexible, creative, and did great work in a timely way - everything I asked for, even though I had to change the details of what I was asking them to do when they showed up for the first of two days of work because of some planning issues on my part (basically I wasn't quite ready to do what we had talked about, and we went with a Plan B, which didn't phase them at all). They even did some custom woodwork for a window that needed a specially-sized and -shaped exterior moulding. They took measurements on day 1, asked for the kind of wood they needed, I went out and got it, and they took it home to plan and cut. They brought the custom moulding back the next day (along with the extra wood that they didn't use) and installed it. It came out looking really great, and is a massive improvement. They were able to improvise in this way to great effect - real problem-solvers. read more

Movses did a great job for the heater we needed installed. He was definitely very reasonable in terms of pricing but best of all he is responsive if you call and or if you message him on yelp. I have used The Handyman La Crescenta twice. The first time to rebuild an old porch, looks better than new, the most resent was last week (water heater emergency) and once again I am totally happy with the service, price and help. Movses (Moses) was willing to come to my home as many times as I needed. He was always kind and very patient with our requests. We made changes and he never complained. Most importantly he left my home as clean or cleaner than when he arrived. He is local and they completed the project/projects ahead of schedule. That is worth an extra star. Happy Customer :o) read more
