For the quality and amount of work that he did, he deserves the highest recommendation. Our 2005 Audi A4, had a dreadful 01J CVT that had been ruined by another shop. Leaky seals ending with the final drive ground to bits, amongst other maladies. We expected a sizable bill when we decided to go ahead and replace the transmission. Joe gave a reasonable quote, and was always honest and upfront about the work required. It was a door to door service. Joe picked up the car from Houston himself, and then worked on it until it the car was running like clockwork, and and then delivered it to us. WHEN THE OTHER GUYS COULDN'T GET IT RIGHT JOE AND HIS TEAM DID!!! Long story short , I took my 2006 Audi A4 to a Volkswagen shop in Irving for a flashing gear selection panel that turned out to be by TCM Transmission Control Module. When I brought my car to that shop it had reverse gear, when they fixed the TCM I apparently lost reverse. That shop assume my tranny was bad. I brought the car to Joe and his team they diagnosed the car and thought the problem could be mechanically inside the Transmission. After discussing with them that I had reverse when I brought it to the previous shop and after they replaced my TCM I then lost reverse. At that point Joe's rebuilder knew exactly what the problem was and guaranteed me that it was the problem. Next day I got the call that my car was ready!!! Saved my a couple of grand!!!! I dropped off my car and keys on a Wednesday and received several text message updates over the next two days including a couple of pics of the work being done in their shop. I wasn't going to leave a bad review until they made me miss all the stuff I had to do because I had to wait THREE hours for an oil change. Not because there were people ahead of me, because they didn't know how to shut off my service light. They told me it would only take ONE hour. If you have a brand new foreign car, do not come here. They are not equipped to service your car. I should have went with my gut when the guy on the phone said "We have never done a 2014, usually we do cars that are older." I know it may not be different to do an oil change, but at least tell me you don't have the equipment to turn off the light! Now I have to go to the dealership like I should have in the first place.
