I needed an estimate on a repair, so I drove over before they closed for the weekend. Their website and Yelp page say they close at 5 PM but at 4:46 PM, their doors were already locked. Seems like an ineffective way to get business but they probably are doing so well they can just close early, which is good for them. Bad for prospective customers though. If I could give this place zero stars I would. My car broke down out of town, it was supposed to be towed but due to circumstances we dropped it off. Upon dropping off my vehicle, the receptionist was rude. She said there were no appointments even though my vehicle was supposed to be towed there. My insurance told me to leave it there and she continued to tell me no. She had my husband sit in the office and wait for over 15 minutes and ignore him. The end result is I walked out and left my vehicle against her allowing me to, until it could be towed somewhere else. My vehicle was unsafe to drive and she still refused to let me temporarily leave my car there. The first person you meet when you walk into a business is supposed to be welcoming and understanding. Not rude, disrespectful and unhelpful. I would NOT recommend this business to anyone. read more

I had my vehicle "fixed" through the shop. The manager had good people skills but that's about it. The shop doesn't communicate at all. I had my whole dashboard fixed with the glass and they broke a part on the steering wheel. They said they'd fix it but I just gave up waiting on them since it was weeks for a part that can be easily purchased and replaced. I communicated with the insurance and they were informed that the manager never listed the part and he no longer works there. What a coincidence.... I had Mercury Insurance and Fix Auto is a Mercury Insurance Authorized Repair Shop. While my 4Runner was there I decided to have them paint my faded out hood too. The manager, Alison did the estimate and is great at explaining the whole process and all that is involved. Thelma the customer care specialist was great help with coordinating the rental car from Enterprise. I can't be happy with the work done. The location is super clean. Very unprofessional body shop!! Fix Auto could NOT fix it. However, understanding that prior damage is reason to not fix a vehicle where the estimate is approved only for current damage, I still had an upsetting experience. Since this was the first time, I experienced the situation where a body shop could not fix my car, I did not know what to do. I was told I needed to pick up the vehicle and take it to another body shop to which I went in there the next day and requested to get something in writing, and I never received a response or anything in writing. It was followed up with a phone call from the girl in the office "barking" at me to "come pick up the car because they had five appointments and two tow-ins on that day. To which I replied "well you guys never returned my call." The day I went in there, somebody could have said that I could just give the original estimate to the new body shop. From me calling almost everyday and to the end result of my car being fixed and looking like it was never in an accident. Shout out to Alexis and Ashley, both of which are the only ones I talked to about the repairs and how long I would be waiting to get my car back. I appreciated all they did to get it done on time and still runs like it did before the accident. Every time I called they were always professional and I appreciated that. The only bummer was getting my car back and my battery was dead, I ended up having to get a new battery. I called them and let them know I had to buy a brand new one, they honestly gave me $200 back for the battery and it was way more than I expected to get reimbursed back. As I parked I walked in to the main office and there was two girls up in the front desk.., understand customers walk in and EVERYONE deserves to be greeted. Coldly she asks.., your name... okay to the point I'll say the front needs to be more welcoming to ALL customers remember if cars don't need to be fixed or there's no customers there's no pay. After yet another accident that was not my fault, I was super stressed about having to deal with another set of insurance claims and auto repair. On top of that, the place I'd taken my car to last time was no longer in business, so I consulted the magic 8 ball that is Yelp for help and it led me to Fix. Fix absolutely lives up to its rating. Thelma was super responsive and helpful throughout the entire process which really helped alleviate some of my stress. Even if I had paid for the repairs myself, the cost was super reasonable and Fix made sure to explain all of the options I had. No one ever talked down to me or treated me like a dumb woman who didn't know anything about cars. The best part? Not only was my car done quickly (even with insurance obstacles), it was done way ahead of time. They have a very handy app that shows you the progress of your car in the shop too. My car turned out great. It looks like it did when I first bought it. I was extremely happy with the entire process at Fix and though I'm hoping I don't have a need to have any auto body work done on my car in the future, if I do, I know I will be taking it here for sure! read more

When I picked up my car (got a new bumper from an accident I was in) I noticed a bit of clear coat was pealed off by the driver's door handle. I called Fix Auto and they automatically denied it and said my car had a recall for clear coat failure. No way! I had pictures of my car I personally took when I dropped off my car to them. It's right where you would grab my car door if you weren't using the handle. We can see a bit of glue on the bumper area too, so we think the technician had glue on their gloves/hand and grabbed my door then tried to clean it off and the clear coat pealed off in that section. But Fix Auto would not take responsibility and told me to take my car to the dealership to see about a recall, so I did that (wasted a full day without my car) and just like I thought it's not a recall or a defect so I called Fix Auto again and they won't admit it happened it their hands and referred me to the insurance company my accident was with (other driver's insurance). That makes no sense! I was rear ended, why would my driver's door have clear coat missing from that? Insurance co even said they aren't sure why Fix Auto is trying to involve them when it wasn't part of the rear end accident I was in. I agree! It's so obvious the clear coat damage was done when Fix Auto replaced my bumper and for them to automatically deny and not even look at it, tells you how they run their shop. They won't take responsibility. I will never ever recommend this body shop and have let as many people as I know what happened. Local business owner that drives clients around for a living so a lot of people have seen this. So sad that I have to write this review but want to let you know and you decide whether you want to take your car here. Ugh! read more

*great auto shop for women!* I am so lucky I went to Fix Auto Orange. I had my catalytic converter (part of my muffler) stolen from under my car and USAA gave me Fix Auto as a choice to go to for having it fixed. They were extremely helpful and kept me updated throughout the entire experience because it was a pain to source a new catalytic converter for my car. They did everything they could to get me the part I needed as soon as possible and even worked hard to get my car fixed before a trip I had planned. The receptionist updated me regularly and the mechanic was really nice and explained everything that needed to happen very plainly. I only talked with women the entire time I was working with them, and when the entire process was over, the receptionist told me that they would be happy to help with any other car troubles because many car shops like to take advantage of younger women. They also cleaned the outside of my car and buffed out a few scratches for me just to be nice, which I thought was great. I fully intend on recommending them to everyone I know because I know good, honest auto shops can be hard to come by. read more

Sadly I found myself in a position where I got rear ended in my week old car, luckily State Farm sent me towards fix auto and I couldn't be more happy with the condition of my car. Stephanie's customer service was kick ass, she was really good at keeping me updated and never leaving me wondering on what was going on with my car. Finally when I got my car back I got it in better condition then it was when I left the dealership. We, had our car fixed here twice. Management must've changed because this time around we got such a bad service. My car is still not fixed. Our Audi was rear ended. They replaced the bumper and the trunk lid. The trunk does not open easily, switches that opened it before do not work now, the convertible lid for top storage was worked on twice but never fixed, rear lights are still out. I've been back to the place 4 times. I called my insurance company n they suggested to take car back and argue that it is not fixed yet. Really?! I think I'll spend the money out of my pocket. My Yelp quote request was answered very quickly. I spoke with Alison who was very knowledgeable about my needs and had answers to all my questions. I am so pleased with the collision repair on my car. I got an estimate from a different shop that was lower but did not cover additional damage that was hard to see beyond the dented side. Fix it auto though saw it and listed it on their quote with photos which helped me have my insurance company pay for all the damage not just the surface damage. Then they also detailed my car and it was sparkling and looked brand new when I picked it up. They called and emailed me with updates along the way so there were no surprises. When my brand new Honda got hit in a parking lot a few weeks ago, I expected to take my car to a run-of-the-mill auto body shop, whatever the insurance recommended. Didn't think of it as much more than that when we dropped my car off at Fix. I bring you my car, you fix it, I get it back, the end. That is, until we saw their incredible customer service. This location of Fix Auto is really a gem and far exceeded my expectations! My repair was supposed to take a week and it was ready in 2 days. I appreciate any company that understands the principle of under promise, over deliver. They won me over as soon as they called on Tuesday afternoon to let us know that the car was ready, versus the original return date of Thursday or Friday. The next day, my husband picked up the car while I was at work. He called to tell me that they gave him a box of fudge (!!!!!!) and a Fix Auto-branded box of tissues! EXCELLENT touch to an already great experience. I asked my husband if they had happened to wash my car, since it was filthy when it went in. I definitely expected a "no" but to my surprise, he described the car as spotless. He was right--it is cleaner inside and out than it was the day we bought it! In every way, Fix went above and beyond my expectations. I was sad about my car getting hit, but they made it look like it never happened in addition to providing awesome customer service.
