Don't come here unless you have won the lottery, for any repairs, typically overpriced labor rates

What a beautiful work Selman Tesla Collision of Orange CA
    Joe James P.

Wow, it seems like my whole car was repaired here and it is literally better than new! I am so impressed with Mike and his team and everything that Tesla insurance has partnered up with Selman collision center. That has really put me in a position to be so impressed. Thank you!! I would recommend your team to anybody who needs Tesla repairs in anyway. Such a pleasurable experience all around as they keep in touch with you every step of the way and that's what I appreciate... The communication was superb.

My car was given back to me like this. How does someone not see this before giving the keys back to the customer? The last straw...

Worked with Selman Collision about repairing my car through my insurance (Mercury). During the entire process I was constantly talked down to by Bob, the estimator. After dropping off the car the first time, my seat cover for the driver seat was torn off the seat and left sitting on the seat bottom. Not sure why they had to rip the seat cover off.. but it was broken and no one said anything about it to me. When I suggested there was damage that was not repaired fully after receiving my car back from them, he was very dismissive and made it seem like I was making it up. After having to push for them to look at it again, I dropped the car off for them to inspect what the issue was. I left the car there for a week while on vacation, and when I came back they said they didn't find anything wrong. So I took the car back and the issue was obviously still occurring, because I could hear something was rubbing unusually. Finally after contacting my representative from Mercury who contacted the shop manager, Dan, my car was given the attention of the mechanic who rode along with me so I could point out the problem, which he agreed was unusual. After getting the car finally fixed 100%, after literally 6 months of going back and forth, I went to pick it up. To be fair, they said after an accident it's hard to find everything that needs repair and somethings come up after initial repairs. My complaint is not that they didn't fix everything the first time, I'm not here for perfection, but that the service was lazy and demeaning. Dragging out a repair with a service representative like Bob was annoying because of the lack of respect he gave me, the customer. Finally, I was given my car back and it was given a complimentary car wash, something I didn't ask for but was a nice touch. Unfortunately, during the last stint there, possibly during the car wash, the weather strip on my window was left dangling off the car. Somehow, even when they try to have good service they still end up messing something else. I can't state how much I despise going back to Selman Collision. Two stars for getting the job done, but with terrible service.

Huge gap between the lining and the bumper

My brand new Tesla was rear ended on the freeway. I went here to get it fixed and bob was so sweet he even prayed over me when I told him I had cancer. However my car wasn't perfect when I got it back. The lining on the bumper isn't lined up correctly with the trunk. I can stick my finger through the gap between the rubber lining and the bumper. He was sweet but I was disappointed that they would even return my car that way. I wouldn't have returned it unless it was perfect to begin with but that's just me. I wish the guys here had the same work ethic as well. I will be retuning my car to have them fix the issue as soon as I am feeling better (cancer sucks, so does this "fixed" bumper)

I would like to first start off by acknowledging BOB at Selman Collision Center for his phenomenal customer care! Not only did Selman Collision Center provide excellent service as a whole, but Bob went above and beyond by keeping in constant contact with my husband and myself in regards to any updates and/or changes in our vehicles repair status. Bob's ability to coordinate and ensure quality control standards are met are just a few ways that Selman Collision Center is able to exceed customer service standards! Thanks Again, Edward and Candice Garcia

I took my truck to Canyon Auto Body in Brea twice and Thier work did not just not last long at all but also had a big run in the paint and my hood was not prepped correctly so the primer starting coming through. I brought it to Selman and Steve talked with me about what needed to be done as I also had them do my roof. I will say I'm extremely happy with not just the work they did but Steve and his staff communicated with me very well and treated me very professionally. I'm extremely happy with how well it looks and how well the paint match is with my truck that has 600,000 miles on it. Just don't rent a car from Enterprise Rental Car they are horrible. Thank you again for a job well done as I'm very happy with it and they gurantee thier work also so no worries.

I initially decided to have my car repaired at Selmans because they offer a complementary loaner car, and I'm so glad I made that decision. Bob and Laura were exceptional in handling the repairs, and they have excellent customer service; Which is hard to find these days. Another thing I love about Semans, is their ability to handle any other repair to the car that you may need. My car had several dings on both sides including a large dent on the rear trunk lid that weren't related to the accident. They removed all the dings and the dent, and my car looks brand new. Customer pay repairs were also quoted at very reasonable prices. My experience at Selmans was so different than other body shops I've been to in the past, that I can't imagine going anywhere else. Keep up the good work!!

I got three other quotes up to $2600 requiring to replace the bumper and paint the fender to match! The car is over 5 years old but the entire body is in great shape. Let me start off by saying that John and his team at K&T Collision Center went above and beyond…read more I went to John a few years ago for my 2011 Toyota Corolla to help prep my car to sell. The paint on the roof was peeling and I was concerned with the quality of the work and I was reassured that they back their paint job with a lifetime warranty. The turnaround was quick and he got it looking brand new. Years later, here I am. I have a 2025 Honda Odyssey Elite trim that sustained a windshield crack from debris. Unfortunately it was a huge metal object. So it was a crack that continued to spread & expand from the heat during the day & cooling during the evening. I asked for quotes around town on how much it would cost for a windshield replacement. I got quotes ranging from around $590 to upwards of $1700+. On the low end, $590 seemed like the most cost effective. However, windshields aren't made the way they used to be. Sensors, cameras, etc. play a role in the cost. Superficially seems like an easy fix. The glass is engineered to meet specific standards so these systems work the way they're supposed to. $590 (Safelite) was the easy way but if the technology malfunctions due to lack of calibrating or being the right product so the sensors/cameras work as specified. With bigger companies/corporate I often stray away because their business is built around quick work, productivity, quotas, etc. What sold me was my past experience and also, his facility being a Honda/Acura certified repair center. John went through all of my options ranging from aftermarket, OE, and OEM windshields. For the few hundred dollar differences between the options, OEM was the way to go with all the sensors/cameras, and tech. John quoted me a very fair price in my opinion (about $1400). A simple search online puts this job towards $2500 from the dealer. This was with all the recalibration of the cameras/sensors. Other shops were quoting me $1400 OEM BEFORE calibration. Rip off. The choice was simple. Great past experience & customer service. Honda Certified repair facility. Transparent with costs & options. Well below dealership pricing. The job was completed within less than a day. He called me for pickup yesterday. It was close to closing hours. I was unable to get transportation due my ride having prior obligations. Without hesitation he offered to have his team member pick me up from my residence. No charge. I arrived, he showed me the vehicle and to my surprise, the car was cleaned inside and out. I had come in to also obtain a quote for damage on the passenger side quarter panel and sliding door from a sharp turn into a pillar. It was dented. The paint was marred and exchanged paint with the pillar. It was horrendous to look at especially on our new vehicle. John & his team went ahead and cleaned it up for me and it looks almost brand new. Absolutely amazing. A local gem for a Honda body shop. Unfortunately, I don't have any before pictures of the damage but it was bad enough people stared over while we drove. K&T Collision Center made my day and my wife's day. We will be coming back to him to get the repairs, but for now, we will be able to drive our '25 Odyssey without getting negative attention. Thank you so much for taking care of our vehicle! P.S. You know a repair shop is legitimate when their employees roll up in cars that are very well maintained aesthetically and internally. Some employees drove older 90s cars that were very well taken care of and that same care is shown in their work!

The repair quote I received did not specifically exclude the reflector repair, and it included a charge for "additional materials." Because of that, I reasonably believed the visible reflector damage was included as part of the repair. When I called the office before making the appointment, they didn't tell me that the reflector itself will not be fixed. When the technician arrived, he informed me that they could only repair the dents above and below the reflector, and that the damaged reflector itself was not included. When I called Bumper Buddies for clarification, I was told that because I, as the customer, did not specifically request reflector repair, it was not included in the quote even though the dents directly above and below the reflector were included. As a customer, I relied on professionals' expertise to evaluate the photos and provide an accurate estimate. If a major visible part of the damage was not included, that should have been communicated with the customer or clearly stated in the quote rather than assumed to be excluded. It's not unreasonable for customer to expect the communication of "hey, I see your reflector was also damaged, but we cannot fix the reflector itself, but we can fix the dent above and below it". The repair quote may have matched their internal interpretation of the estimate, but it did not match a customer's reasonable expectation based on the photos submitted. During my follow-up call with Nick, he repeatedly stated that it's a "communication error" and the quote did not include reflector replacement because I had not specifically requested it. That explanation raised even more concerns for me. As a customer, I relied on their expertise to identify and quote the visible damage shown in the photos. I should not be expected to name every individual damaged part or anticipate every technical detail in order to receive an accurate quote. If I had the professional knowledge to identify every repair item myself, I likely would not have needed their service in the first place. That is exactly why I turned to them for an estimate. Based on this experience, I would not feel confident on any future estimates from them unless every single item is spelled out in writing beforehand.
