They wasted my time and emotions by giving me no hope and insisting that my car's engine harness part must be replaced. They even claimed that the part couldn't be found anywhere in the country. I was shocked but still had little hope, so I decided to take matters into my own hands and started a project. I sent messages out on Yelp asking if any shop could help, and Mike responded! I was still skeptical because I felt that what Euro Car Doctor had warned me about could be true. However, I decided to go the fair route. I disclosed all my concerns to Mike, and he simply responded in a firm tone that his team could help. I visited BMB RhineTrade, feeling scared and uncertain. But I saw some positive signs. The place was packed, which made me think that it might take weeks for my car to be worked on. However, everything was incredibly straightforward and easy. It was almost as if he read my mind. He met with me, looked through the diagnostic report found by Euro Car Doctor, offered a loaner, and got back to me within hours with a full repair report and an approximate cost. To my surprise, my car didn't need an engine harness replacement after all. And it was fixed within 2 days! Other than that, Mike was patient and let us ask questions. He convinced us from the point that I was desperate to get rid of my old Mercedes because I thought it couldn't be repaired to the point where I realized that my car is worth maintaining and still has a long life ahead of it! Sadly I've had the opportunity to use Greensky on a couple of different occasions and I've always…read morebeen impressed by the quality of their work. "Like it never happened" is the standard when it comes to collision repair, and I'd say these guys come very close. You can tell that they care about their work and take pride in its quality. We have used them for everything from a minor scrape to a significant collision repair and always walked away impressed. You can probably find some cheaper places, but I doubt you could save more than 10% or so. Greensky doesn't often source used parts that I can tell, but they do look for opportunities to repair rather than replace, and they think critically about the cosmetic and functional considerations of each repair decision. One definitely doesn't get the sense that they are "out to get you". All that said, I would still treat their initial quote as a minimum rather than a guarantee -- both times the final bill came in a little higher than estimated. I understand this is common in the industry. One thing that Greensky is not great about is the pre-sales process. The vibe I get is that they are eager to get to work, but they don't offer virtual estimates, there is a minimum spend for even an in person estimate, and they charge quite steeply for parking if you leave your car there. My overall takeaway is that they care about their work and would just like their customers to respect their craft and otherwise get out of the way.

They even got me a car rental with Enterprise at a discounted rate, who picked me up and took me to the rental place. It was a quick turnaround of few days to remove my old worn bumper, replace it with a new painted one, they even buffed my headlights, removed old worn yellow door protectors, and added touch up paint where chips were (all free of charge!). I did see a few minor things that still needed to be taken care of, I showed up the next Friday, they took care of it in under 2 hours, they even removed some old worn plastic film protectors from my rear doors as well free of charge.
