I was in a car accident in 2017. They took over a month to repair my car. While I know my car is older, They said they had to order parts. Over. A. Month. I hit a car head on. They replaced the body work, but nothing internally. I had to show them my tire had a gash in it. They charged me for a tire and actually turned the gashed part of the tire to the inside. My hood was missing all the bolts. My radiator went out a couple months after the accident and there was a screw driver stuck in it from begging repaired. My window washer fluid container was cracked in the accident and never replaced. I didn't even take it back to them I was so upset. I took it to really mechanics and repair people after. I paid out of pocket because I did not want them near my car. I think they took advantage of a young mom there by herself. I would never recommend read more

Excellent service and work! Theresa definitely took the time to explain things to me. She kept me updated along the way. They had to order the parts for my car which took the longest (about a month) but that's with everything in the world right now. The autobody work was actually quick and they were able to finish it in 1.5 weeks (estimated time was 3-4 weeks). They definitely did an amazing job with replacing my lift gate, rear bumper, and did a paint job. I took my car here because I got rear ended and I own a Tesla Model Y. I chose this shop because they have loaner cars which was very much appreciated and a huge plus!! My car came back sparkly and clean. Great service from Bob at Selman Chevy Collision Center. I've brought three cars here in the past 2 years or so and have been happy with the repairs each time. I just picked up a car today that was rear ended. The work looks good. Bob also did several things for free: added gas because it was low, changed the battery, and had a couple areas with faded paint repainted. Very pleased. Also they offer loaners for free. It makes waiting for a car to be repair so much less painful. I have aaa and selman chevy is an approved repair facility, which makes the paperwork side easy, too. read more

Took my Ford F-250 Super Duty to Selman Collision after a FedEx truck sideswiped it while it was parked at the curb. We have used Selman Collision two times before for my wife's Saturn Vue and the repairs were excellent in both cases. Now you can make it 3 for 3! Got my truck back today and it looks fantastic! Just because of the service center I'd stay away. My wife's 2016 camaro ss has been in there several times. This last time was for an electrical issue the tach boun ung and instead of taking care of the issue after paying the deductible and didn't fix it they say they don't have any loner cars available and that was several Months ago. Now my daughters car has a recall and they tell her the same story. Talk about the run around..why even buy an extended warranty if they are going rodrag out the repair so it expires. We have bought a 2018 2500hd , 2016 Camaro SS, 2018 Equinox and a 2015 Sonic..the first 2 vehicles are not inexpensive vehicles and after the whole family coming here for years you would think you could atleast get things fixed under a warranty you paid for. read more

This review is simply from the customer service end. I was trying to get an estimate for repairing damage done to my front and rear bumpers after a hit-and-run fender bender incident. Their website offers an online estimator tool but it requires access to your phone camera so you can take pictures only after the application has begun. All the other service providers' websites I visited with similar tools allow you to upload images already stored on your device. Not here. I did not have access to my car but further research on the website led me to the FAQ page where it is acknowledged that users may have difficulties in submitting images for an estimate. An email address is provided where photos can be sent to as an alternative but each time I tried that address the message kept getting bounced back to me due to an invalid recipient. I called and spoke to a shop agent who told me that my only other option is to make an appointment to come in for an in-person estimate. I'd rather not. There were enough difficulties in simply trying to send the shop images of my damage that I can only imagine how many more hardships I'd end up enduring if I actually did business here. Also, the phone service I received was rather rude and unhelpful. This location might do wonderful auto body repair but I'll never know since I never made it to the front door. read more

This place definitely saved me so much time and stress. The fact that they have loaner cars is a HUGE plus. Had an accident 8 months ago and the parties at fault weren't taking responsibility to cover a rental to get my car fixed. I was calling their insurance companies every month to get it solved and they had to take multiple statements from me and it hadn't gone anywhere. Had to call my insurance completely upset and stressed out for them to recommend Selman Collision, and I have a bit of a beef with them as to why they didn't recommend it earlier. Bob took care of everything. He called me first thing the next day. I dropped off my car and picked up a loaner as soon as one became available after just a few days. No mileage caps on the loaners and I was able to keep my plans to go up to Northern California for the weekend. And they have pretty nice loaner cars too! They even noticed a maintenance light come on in my car and took it to the dealership to solve the problem, all inclusive. I would give them five stars, no problem, but my car initially was returned to me with scratches that were not there on drop off. They fixed them and waived the cost of a replacement weather strip that wore off in the process, for which I am forever grateful. And even with having them work more on it, it came back before the estimated finish date. They understood the stress I was going through with this whole process and made the repairs the absolute highlight of my life over the last 8 months. Nothing but positive things to say about this shop I was a little skeptical at first because my truck is a Toyota but they were so professional especially Bob the adjuster, he called me every other day to keep me updated on my info of my truck. they even let me barrow a car so I didn't have to use my own insurance. 7/24/2017 I had the misfortune of having my third row seats stolen out of my tahoe. I took it to Selman and Bob handled everything! He was fantastic! I truly couldn't have asked for a better experience. Besides getting my seats ordered in a timely manner, he had them installed and the latch and weatherstripping replaced faster than I had hoped. Bob tried hard to work around my schedule to get me in and out of there fast. He also gave me a few suggestions on how to protect my seats in the future. I was referred to Selman Collision Center through AAA. I was in an accident that was not my fault and AAA was able to waive my deductible (because of the uninsured motorist policy). Anyway, I called to make an appointment and they were able to work with my Claims specialist to take care of my car. I dropped off the car 7-3-18 and Selman was able to give me a loaner (Chevy Malibu, nice upgrade). I filled out paperwork and given the keys to the loaner. I was able to pick it up 7-10-18. The car looked better even before the accident. They even washed my car and filled up my tank! I had half a tank when I dropped off my car. Customer service was great! Bob was able to update me with the appraisal even though I did not have to pay anything out of pocket. I'd highly recommend here if anyone needs any repairs done. read more

Horrible experience at Selman. They basically wasted my time when they found out that the insurance company was going to salvage the vehicle due to age even though the repairs were minor to the front. They didn't even pop the hood to look after I already agreed to pay the extra non-refundable fee if they had to take things apart and put it back together. When I asked why they wouldn't fix the car, Bob gave me some ridiculous response saying that I wouldn't want to pay out of pocket because it would cost too much. The car has sentimental value and was in excellent condition otherwise, so I told him I would pay whatever the cost, and he still stuck to his lame answer. I believe it was only because he didn't want the hassle of looking for replacement parts for a 1999 vehicle and they wanted to make room for other vehicles where they could make more money off of charging insurance companies that would pay. I'd rather have someone who's honest and upfront. If you need a good bodyshop, do not go here. I can refer you to one that I found when Selman refused to do minor repairs. read more

We have taken our Ford Fusion to Selman Collision Center twice in the last year! Both times we were rear ended while on the freeway. Selman was able to get my car in immediately and delivered it within a few days, perfectly repaired and clean! They arranged for Enterprise to pick me up to get my rental car. And I left the rental car there to be returned. Bob called AAA to get my deductible waived. The work is impeccable and the service is friendly and knowledgeable. Took my car in 12/26 and was told that it should be finished by 1/14. I got a call on 1/4 telling me that my car is done. When I picked up my car it looked brand new. In addition I am usually calling the repair center to get a status update. He gave me an expected date but stated we will try to get it our earler which he did by one week. Due to a minor accident, I needed some work done on my car. My insurance company sent me to Selman Collision Center for an estimate. When Selman called me to make an estimate appointment, I was told they do not do estimates and that I would need to leave my car with them until they have fixed everything. When I asked if they could just order the parts and I could bring my car in once the parts came in to lessen the time without my car (it was still drivable and not unsafe), I was assured that it would only be a couple days. After 4 days Of not hearing back, I decided to call, and was informed they would have my car for 10 days. When I called day 9 to see if my car was ready at 10AM, I was told they just needed to buff the part out and it would be ready, but it would be ready for me to pick up, on day 11. I will say I gave them 2 stars for the quality of work as my car looks great, but they get 0 stars for honesty, customer service, and caring about their customers. read more

When someone hit me in my Tesla, I just groaned at having to endure a repair, but Mr Bob Bassett, Estimator, knows his repairs and assured me it would be done in a timely fashion.
