I put over 75,000 miles on my car per year. In the past 3 1/2 years my car has been hit by other drivers seven times. Each time my car gets hit I've had to select another collision center to repair my car in Long Beach. I keep trying new collision repair centers due to my overall dissatisfaction that general stems from poor communication, lack of follow up and poor quality of the repair. I don't think I have to look for another shop again. The crew at Fix Auto is my shop, the shop in Long Beach, we careful there are two. I am not referring to the one in Signal Hill. My customer service service experience started with Maria, who is polite and efficient. There's Chelsey was always happy to step in when Maria was not available and finally Alex. I am a complete task master when it comes to keeping things on track and Alex stayed on top everything every step of the way. He even made had my car ready seven days early that the original finish date. Alex and his crew even addressed a few issues on my car that I was not even aware existed. Customer service here is A+++. These people are SOOOO helpful. I recently was t-boned and because I had gone to them before with a small problem, I chose to go again. They gave me a decent price and I got the repair done very quickly after the parts came in. In fact, I waited 30 minutes after bringing my car in for the repair. Got the bill, as quoted, and felt they had overcharged me for labor because the work was done immediately. After learning of my concern they checked back with me and looked into it. Maggie investigated and told me they had 5 people working on the car at the same time to keep me from waiting! What better service could I ask for?? read more

Went to Fix It on Monday because someone sideswiped my car in a parking lot. Justin Gilbert and Alex were great. Justin arranged for a rental and had them pick up by them. The original time estimate was that Friday. Justin called with updates but when he called on Thursday, a day early, to tell me my car was done, I was very happy. The repairs were excellent. AND he had them buff out a few minor scratches on the other side of the car that were not even part of the original damages AND buffed my headlight lenses so the were nice and clear again. I know I am the first review for this place, I would recommend them to anyone. Also, the shop was one of the cleanest and neatest I have seen in awhile. read more

After someone crunched the back of my car at the LB traffic circle, my insurance suggested Fix Auto for the quote and repairs. From the moment I first called them to make an appointment, I knew that this company was organized and on top of their business. Even though I had to wait to talk to someone, they consistently updated me on how much longer my wait would be. (Example: Nice music, "you have approx. 4 minutes", nice music, "you have approx. 30 seconds to wait", etc.) I loved that because I didn't feel like I was going to waste 30 minutes that I didn't have for a person who was never going to get on the phone with me! With every interaction I had with an employee of Fix Auto, I've walked away thinking to myself, "Wow, they are really friendly and helpful. I will definitely come back!" After my bumper was fixed, (which only took 3 days!), I noticed that my gas cap had gotten broken during the repairs. I called them and they let me bring it in that very day to take a look. Immediately they called to order the new part and got it fixed in less than a week. The whole process was just completely hassle free and easy! Like I said before, I will definitely be going back the next time I need some car body repairs! read more

My 2003 got broken into the other week and the smashed a side window and windshield and tried to hotwire our car by pulling out wires from under the dash. So my deductible was $1000 and my insurance company had it towed this shop on 12/7. I did not get an estimate from the insurance company (which is on site) until the next afternoon it took over 24hours just to get the estimate. Once I received the estimate it said for the windshield $147.10, + $140 labor + $56.10 for molding and this included a markup of 10% I believe, then the side roll up window was $70.19 and another mark up fee of 10% I believe plus $34.60 for labor, to fix the electrical was $168 which of that was 10% mark up as well because they told me they didn't have anyone qualified that works in this tiny shop to install glass or fix electrical, so me the consumer has to pay the mark up fee. I thought WTF, this is horrible. SO my bill came to $688.50 for 2 glass windows on a vehicle that is over 10years old and connect some wires that had been torn out. Now let me tell you if I would have called a glass person myself they would have charged to install both windows about $250 and I don't know about the electrical but maybe the same. I have had many windshields replaced and never had I pay over $250.. This place is a TOTAL RIPOFF and it was in the shop for a total of 9days in which 2 of those are a weekend which of course they don't work on saturdays. SO LONG BEACH residences please be aware of this place. I was in contact with them every step of the way and was treated bad. I walked into the office to get my vehicle after it was done and ask to pay my bill and noone said anything, like welcome, thanks for coming NOTHING rudeness in this place, besides it took 15minutes for them just to pull out the car which was blocked by other cars... I was HIGHLY disappointed in this shop and I will file a complaint with my insurance company and I will tell all my friends in need NEVER GO THERE.. RIPOFF and yes before you say I am whinning, I was very polite the first couple times they text me and even when I phoned and they told me why should they pay the mark up fee we pass it to the customer. read more

My experience with Fix Auto was outstanding! The service from Marissa and Maggie was top notch, not only are they very knowledgeable but they are caring too. I took my car in on a Monday and it was ready for pickup early Thursday with beautiful work--looks like new. Sad to say, my car was a little dirty inside and they took the time to vacuum throughout and cleaned the leather too! Oh, and they keep you up to date throughout the process via text or email and of course they call too. Today I went to Fix Auto to repair my car. The man who assessed it asked if I would just like it to be driveable, and I said, "Yes," because that would help me financially. I also showed him part of my car where someone had hit me last week and left a gray and blue mark about 4" x 4". I asked if there was anything they could do to repair that, and he said they would work on that as well. I was willing to pay the repair fee for both of these items, but he said that they were minor jobs and did not charge me. To me, this was a miracle! He did not try to take advantage of the situation and charge the highest amount. Instead, he was very customer-oriented and worked to take care of my vehicle in a way that was also best for me financially. I had started the day with the car hit in a very distressed place, and when I left Fix Auto, both my car and mood were fixed. I cannot say enough nice things about Fix Auto Repair. Honestly, they are the most and knowledgable professionals I have ever worked with. I damaged my car on a Saturday afternoon, and was told by every open shop in the Long Beach area that they couldn't help me or quoted outrageous numbers. I then called Justin in the front office; he was very patient and supportive while I cried my eyes out on the phone, and was quick to help when I arrived. He took my car back to his mechanic, and the work they did on my car was incredible. They took their time, and did not rush me or the repair at all. I came in prepared for an expensive fix on my vehicle (based on what the mechanics at the Toyota dealership told me after poking the damaged part with a screwdriver for two minutes). The mechanics took their time, looked at the damage, and then they realized that it was in fact a completely different and benign problem! To say I had a pleasurable experience would be a gross understatement; from now on, they are the ONLY repair shop that I will recommend or bring my car to. Some POS stole my neighbor's car and in the process destroyed the side of my sweet lil Baby Benz. My insurance company recommended this shop and I had an incredible experience here! First, the ladies in the office were professional and friendly. Maggie made the appointment and Marissa immediately checked out the damage and gave me a quote. They kept in touch by email and gave me a reasonable time frame for repair, going into detail about my options. Imagine my surprise and delight when I got a call this morning, on a Saturday, that my car was ready! Five whole days before I expected it! Not only does the car look brand new, but they waxed it and cleaned and vacuumed the inside. My steering wheel squeaks like it did when I first bought my car!
