Very dishonest. I went to ask the price for changing my tesla driver side window switch. They gave me estimate for 495$ to 995 $ stating they have to change to change the whole door panel as the switch is welded on to door panel. Then i checked on youtube right there, the WESTSIDE EV showed 3 minute video of how to change the switch module. He sold the switch for 35$ & installed it for free. BEWARE OF THIS SHOP read more

I am a first-time customer, and unfortunately, I am very dissatisfied with my experience. My Tesla was in their care for over a month and a half for bumper, tire, suspension, and additional repairs. When the vehicle was returned to me, I immediately noticed that the newly painted bumpers did not match the original color. In addition, the paint quality was substandard, with visible debris embedded in multiple areas. I even mentioned that the steering pulls to the left when driving so that needs to be corrected as well. I was advised to bring the vehicle back the following Monday so these issues could be corrected. However, when I returned as instructed, I was informed that it was a short work week due to the holidays and that rental car costs needed to be considered. I was then strongly encouraged to bring the vehicle back the following week instead. This is concerning, as I was initially led to believe that my vehicle would be prioritized once these issues were identified. Instead, I am now being asked to adjust my family's plans to accommodate business constraints, including postponing repairs and managing transportation without a rental vehicle. Had the repairs been completed correctly the first time--including proper paint matching and ensuring the steering does not pull to the left while driving--this additional inconvenience would not be necessary. I am disappointed by the lack of urgency and accountability, as well as the apparent absence of effort to put the customer first and resolve the matter promptly. read more

I had a very disappointing experience with Fix Auto Collision. They provided me with a repair estimate and submitted it to my insurance company, which was later approved. Today, I received confirmation from my insurance adjuster that the payment for the damages had already been issued. However, Fix Auto then demanded that I pay my deductible upfront before they would even pre-order the parts. They insisted the deductible must be paid immediately--before I even dropped off my vehicle. I've dealt with several body shops in the past, and this is absolutely not standard practice. Customers typically pay the deductible when the repair is completed, not before any work has started. Their approach felt pushy, unprofessional, and frankly, like a bad business practice. Because of this, I will be taking my vehicle elsewhere. I cannot recommend Fix Auto Collision based on the way they handled this situation. read more

I brought my car in for a scratch, fully prepared to have it repaired (and pay out-of-pocket). Carlos took a look and said, "honestly, that might be something I can just buff out." He brought a buffer and spent some time with care and professionalism and buffed out the scratch, as a professional courtesy. I had used one of the other shops in the past, but the service writer/estimator I had worked with before had moved on and the new person was having trouble completing an approved estimate with my insurance company's electronic format after more than a week. Since both shops had comparable 4.5 star ratings, I decided to give FIX a try. My experience was excellent from Lauren, the professional lady at the front desk, to the two customer service men I worked with, Dennis and Carlos, who interfaced with my insurance company as the estimate was modified to get the work done. They kept me informed during the process and I did not rush them but let them know I wanted a beautiful job. First of all FIX AUTO Brea provided good customer service. Angel communicated well but the quality of the work was not up the par. After picking up my car from Fix auto brea, I brought my car back and showed Angle what was wrong with it. ANGEL scheduled a date for me to bring the car for them correct their errors listed below: The car has so many fisheyes on the paint. On the front front bumper, front driver, passenger fender and hood of the car. Fisheyes was every where. The passenger side of my tesla model y paint was not smooth (Orange peels). Underneath of the hood was missing the padded plastic part. The frunk has big gaps on the driver side and an area on it was still bend. The front ac cover was loose and was not latch correctly. The head light on the passenger side popped out and was not even. The bottom of front bumper by the air vent, right in the middle of it part of the bumper was sticking out. Angle told me if I drop off the car early in the morning, it would be done by the end of the day. When I stop by, I told them to take their time since I dont need to car for a few days. But I do want to see better quality. I dropped off my car at 0800 hours on Wednesday and picked it up at 1730 hours on Friday. That 3 full working day for them to work on it. After picking up my car, I point out a some stuff that I could see on the spot to another employee (I could not recall his name). He told me some of the scratches on the front bumper was due to rock chips. The car did not have any rock chips prior to me bringing it back. It was a brand new hood, front bumper and fenders that they installed and painted. The car has multiple scratches on it still and i can still see some fisheyes. The car also have multiple white spots on it, it look like the pain was missing in those area. The hood of the car was not even, when I look at the Tesla sign on the hood on the left (the passenger side) stick out more than the right (driver side). I also see a lot of white stuff in between the gaps. I tried to clean it and was able to get most of it out except some area I could not.  Im writing this to let you guys know and hopefully you guys can improve the quality of your work for future reference. Im not satisfied with the quality of work on my car. I don't think it's up to par. I do like your customer service and have nothing to complain about that Just the quality of work were poor.  At this point do I want to keep wasting my time and bring my car back to keep getting the same quality of work? read more

My review is far different from many people here. I brought my car into Fix Auto, after seeing all the great reviews. However, my review was not so great. The damage that I originally had on my car when brought in, was small, not much damage, however when I came to pick up my car the damage was worse than before, with glue stain everywhere, uneven pain coats, as well as a whole different shade of colour, was used on my car, on top of what I believe to be extremely unprofessional attitude by brushing my concerns about the quality of work done on my car off. The worker stated "all nissans are like that" however, when I brought my car in, my Nissan was not like that. They also claimed that when I brought my car in I had certain damages on the car and when I asked to see the images, they failed to provide such images. On top. of all this. Upon arriving, prior to dropping my car off at the shop, I asked the mechanic if they knew how to take off ski racks, If they did not I would be more than happy to take them off. The mechanic reassured me that they were skilled in the removal and installation of ski racks. When I went to go remove the ski racks myself, I noticed that one of the ski rack lock mechanisms were broken. I genuinely urge you, if the reason you are bringing your car in is that you were hit, and Geico is 100% liable for the damage done to your car, to go somewhere else. I believe the reason why I experienced such disrespect is that Geico (the other partys' insurance) and Fix Auto Brea are cooperative. read more

I was recently involved a hit and run accident. The collision left a considerable amount of tire marks (rubber) on both front and rear doors as well as the back fender. Not knowing the extent of the possible hidden damage under the tire marks and needing to validate the submission of a SR-1 form to the DMV, I took my Honda Civic to Fix Auto Brea. I was welcomed immediately upon entering and after a completing a short form I was introduced to Chris. Chris and I went out to my car where he asked if I had a little time to spare, which I did. He asked for 15 minutes and offered me coffee and water while I waited. In 15 minutes he returned with my car and there was no visible markings on my car. He had personally cleaned and buffed out all the residual marks from the accident. I was fortunate to only have a small dent on my front door. I offered to pay for his services and he refused, saying he did it as a "courtesy" and it was free of charge. Brought my Tesla in for a bumper replacement due To accident. The turnaround was less than a week was awesome. Months later I realized they did not match the right white to my car. They were more than accommodating to redo my bumper but not accommodating to pay for car rental, even though I wouldn't be in this predicament if their team did the job right in the first place. I called my insurance company hoping to get a car rental through them and add to accident claim. They reached out to Fix Auto and told them they should be covering this expense as this redo is not part of collision expense. Fast forward a few hours later, i called Fix Auto to inquire where to get a car rental. It was then i was told they would "provide rental as a courtesy but they usually don't for warranty" I was thankful to hear that considering that i would not be in this predicament in the first place if their team matched the right white on my Tesla. The day i dropped off my car, i was expected to be assigned to a rental that would be equivalent to my car, i was mistaken, i had to pay out of pocket the difference to upgrade rental and cover my gas expense for the time of rental. I tried negotiating with the manager but he would not budge. Not happy, but accepted that i had to pay out of pocket for something that should have been expensed to Fix Auto team for not doing their job right in the first place. I wondered if I got angry and raised my voice, if the outcome would've been different. Fast forward two days later, car is ready for pick up. The bumper looks better. More seamless than before but still a bit more white than the rest of the car. At this point, i was done and settled for less than satisfactory because it was already an inconvenience to take my car back to the shop for a job that was not done properly in the first place , but to pay rental fees for something that was a mistake of Fix Auto's team. I'm exhausted and need to get back to my life routine. I need to pick my battles and this one is not worth the energy. With all the reckless drivers on the road, I'm wouldn't be surprised that someone will rear end my car again. Would i come back here to fix my car again? No. i hope no one has to go through and feel a little cheated like i did. read more

These Guys are Crooks. Took our Lexus SUV in after a small fender bender. The repair man said they would need to replace the front windshield and recalibrate it. They charged the insurance company for this. After the repairs, the sensor system kept sending alerts. Took the car back and they could not fix the problem Finally took the car for a second opinion. They confirmed that the windshield had never been replaced, but patched. I paid out of pocket $1200 for a new windshield and calibration. Now everything works fine. Fix Auto continues to ignore my calls. The close up photo shows the patch. read more

Follow-up: July 20th, 2022. I received a voicemail from The manager (Walter) who told me the car would be ready by today. I called back and spoke to Angel who said the car would be ready by 6pm (the business closes at 530pm). Angel said they would be there. I show up at approximately 5pm, spoke to the receptionist, and was told by another gentleman there that they were just washing the car. They bring the car around to the front and it literally looked liked they were rushing to get my car dried off. I spoke to Walter, who then apologized for having the car returned to me late. He then told me that the TRD rockers were on back order and they (assuming Toyota) delivered what they had in stock in the mean time. Walter said they were on back order for 6 days. I told Walter, the original rockers had the TRD logo and asked how could they have missed that? Walter then said they ordered the right ones from the beginning but they sent the rockers without the logo in the mean time while they send the TRD ones (makes no sense to me). I expressed my frustration with Walter but only blamed the insurance adjuster (Nicholas Jackson from GEICO) for not giving him the correct information. Walter then tried to blame the tire shop, who he said is across the street, for the delay of returning my car because they took too long to balance the wheels. I told Walter that I have reported the incident to the BBB and now that i have the final bill and paid my deductible, I will be filing the incident with the California Department of Insurance. Walter then tells me that it is not fair because he has nothing to defend himself with. I'm sorry Sir, but I believe it isn't fair that I've waited 3 days shy from a month for rims, tires, and rockers. It isn't fair that I've provided all the correct information (photos, specs of rims and type) to the adjuster that you claimed you worked well with and order all the wrong parts. It isn't fair that my car is still being delivered with the wrong rockers after you mentioned you just ordered them but quickly change it to "I ordered them from the first day I got the car but they are on back order." I'm sure whatever company you ordered it from has records of when you placed the order Sir. This is a very unfortunate experience and it would be terrible if it happened to anyone else. I added photos of how they delivered my car and was told that I would get called when the TRD rockers would come in. Total was over $8200 for rims, tires, rockers, and minor scratches. My Tesla Model 3 needed a new quarter panel and the bumper fixed as well. Carlos and his team did a great job at repairing everything within 1 month. He kept me updated every week with texts. On the day of the pickup, he texted me and asked me to pick it up at the end of the day since it was getting detailed. Unfortunately, when I went to pick up my car, the car was not detailed and the car was pretty dirty. He said that the detailer couldn't make it in today. As I was inspecting the car, I opened the trunk and the inside storage cover was was missing. Carlos retrieved the items from the warehouse and even cleaned them for me. Below the trunk was filthy as well. Carlos noticed that and cleaned it immediately. It was clear that they did not even do a basic clean after the repairs were over. I waited a couple days to wash my car and when I did I noticed there was overspray all over my car. Even after I washed my car, my car was not smooth and rough all around. The only portion that was smooth was the quarter panel, which was the only area of the car besides the bumper that was fixed. I was so disappointed by the lack of care from Carlo's team. Did they not properly cover my car before spraying my car? Before I wrote this review, I called them first, but they didn't answer the phone. I called again 10 minutes later and the receptionist answered the phone. She said Carlos was busy, but would call me back. Fair enough. It's been a whole day and Carlos never called me back. Unfortunately, I didn't want to leave a negative review, but they never decided to follow up with me. They did a great job with my repairs, but the fact that they said they were going to detail my car, but instead just gave a basic wash(even the basic wash had dirt all over) left a pretty bad impression. read more

I haven't written a review for a few years (13 to be exact) but I had an experience today which I needed to write about. Last week I returned from a two week family vacation and the battery on my Tesla Model S P85D completely died while I was gone. As a result, I couldn't open the charging port to plug in the car. Since the car was in my garage right next to my charger, I contacted Tesla to find out how to access the charging port. They told me I needed to contact Tesla tow service and bring my car to their shop but this seemed a bit excessive just to open the charging port. Last year, I brought my Model S to Fix Auto Brea for a little body work and they did a great job so I contacted them for their opinion and I'm so glad I did. Shortly after I emailed them, I received a call from Walter. I think he's the head mechanic there. After I explained the situation he said, "That's an easy fix so I'll stop by your house after I'm done at the shop..." As promised, he showed up, did his magic and opened the charging port so I could charge my car. Needless to say, I was ecstatic. After he wrapped up, I offered to tip him $100 for his time but he said, "Don't worry, I take care of my customers..." I insisted multiple times but he refused. Very specific situation for me, may not apply to everyone. Brought my vehicle in last year May to get it primed, because the paint was chipping from the vinyl wrap removal. They were supposed to sand down and prime the car, prepping the body for another vinyl wrap. At first, it looked fine, didn't notice anything was necessarily off. Vehicle got vinyl wrapped and five months later, as part of the vinyl is being removed, primer chips off and what is underneath? Paint. Car was taken to another body shop for them to inspect, and as the primer chips off even more, more paint is revealed. It was then brought to my attention that the vehicle was spray-canned primer, as the quality of the primer was not good at all. Turns out, I paid $1400 to get my car rattle-can sprayed with a low quality primer, and the body was not properly sanded down and prepped/primed as it was supposed to be. This explains as to how the primer started chipping off as the vinyl was removed. Primer doesn't come off with a vinyl wrap, if it was done properly in the first place. The primer was also noticeable on the various plastic trim pieces throughout the car. read more
