I'm honestly beyond frustrated with this entire situation. We dropped off a fully working car, and it was returned to us not functioning and somehow we're the ones stuck dealing with it. First, we were told the battery was "too old," which wasn't true. I provided a receipt showing the battery is under 2 years old. Then the explanation suddenly changed to it being an alternator issue. We asked for a third-party inspection and was only given their own internal documentation. I also asked for proof that the battery was properly handled during repairs (disconnected or on a trickle charger), and that was never provided either. What's most frustrating is being made to feel like this is somehow our fault, when the car had zero issues before it was in their care. Now we're left with another repair bill we didn't have before. Even USAA hasn't helped resolve anything. This has been a really disappointing experience, and I would not trust them again. read more

I got into an accident. The Insurance of the other driver (who admitted fault) recommended Fix Auto and since they were paying for the repair I agreed to take it there. If you have your own repair place take it there instead. At first they were fine with me. After the repair was complete (about a week and a half) We went over the repair,(they repaired the whole right side from end to end that had dents & scratches) I noticed the handle to the lift gate felt different (loose) I mentioned to the employee and he said to call the supervisor or lead man later because he wasn't there but it shouldn't be a problem. Everything else looked fine from the outside & I didn't open the doors and I only opened the lift gate to put my backpack there. I made an appointment to bring it back so they could take a look at my concern, I didn't notice the missing paint on the inside of both doors until after the inspection. The inspection took about 30 minutes, they told me they didn't work on that area of the repair but it took them 30 minutes to inspect? They told me since they didn't work on the tailgate they couldn't do anything for me. I told them all I know is that my lift gate handle was working fine and the panel wasn't loose before I brought it here. They did tell me the inspection revealed several pins broken to the panel and that's why it was loose. They said it wouldn't cost much to replace the pins and fix the handle. I couldn't find myself paying for something that wasn't loose before I took it to Fix Auto. Please take pictures of both the outside and inside. I don't want this happening to you... read more

I pulled into the driveway last night & cut the corner too sharp. Unfortunately, the entire right side of my 23 Highlander scraped the white picket fence, leaving white paint scrapes from front to back. I did not sleep all night. I was worried about how many thousands this mistake would set me back, I drove to Fix Auto La Habra and explained my dilemma to Emily who promptly walked out the door to find the estimator Chris Medrano. Chris and I walked over to the car. He look over the damaged right side, ran his hand over the scrapes and asked me if I had a minute or two. "There won't be a charge for this even if it works", he said. Chris walked into the shop, grabbed a towel and a bottle of solution and returned to the car. He spent 10 minutes wiping down the affected areas and removing all signs of white paint. He suggested a couple of products that would clean the plastic, and gave me a couple of brand suggestions while finishing the paint removal. All signs of white paint are gone! Chris salvaged my day and attitude. There are loads of body & paint "specialists" in the LA/Orange County area. None better than Fix Auto - La Habra. Recently my neighbors family member backed into my CR-V. I was recommended by an adjuster to come here for repairs and I am SO happy that I did. They did an amazing job on my vehicle, and they were excellent with updates and communication. They were able to offer me a ride to pick up my rental and a ride to come get my repaired vehicle after dropping my rental off. When I arrived I was pleasantly surprised to see my car in way cleaner condition than when I dropped it off which was a huge plus. It looked amazing inside and out. And it smelled amazing inside. If I could give zero stars I would. Do not come to this place. They are super rude especially the salty old man that looked at my car. Gray hair and glasses. Started yelling at me accusing me of damaging my car on my own and saying the person who caused great damage to my car doesn't owe me anything. Took my WRX here based on puente hills recommending to bring the car here. I initially met Russ (owner) he seemed friendly. I asked when I could bring my car and he said Monday to have it ready Friday. I brought the car Monday and I pointed out a couple areas that needed to be fixed. The lady said ok. They held the car for 1 week even thought I told them they could keep it longer as I didn't need it. They called me stating my car was ready to be picked up. When I showed up the things I had pointed out weren't fixed. My car wasn't ready, not only was it not ready. It had additional damage on the door they were working to repair. Russ the owner tried to say this was previous damage (rock chip). Two distinctive rock chips hit the inside of the door panel where you were originally working? Come on Russ, how dishonest can you be. When I said show me the paper with walkthrough showing this previous damage on the area you were working. He said oh are you going to go that route. I just paid this dishonest shop $1000, no questions asked and they damage my 2017 wrx, extremely disappointed by the lack of character and honesty to properly take care of the issue. Trust me they'll be taking your car in so quickly and give you a ridiculously high estimate, then let your car sit in their shop without working on it. Got my car in for a window replacement and it took them over 2 weeks to get it done, not to mention the rude attitude from the staff in front and back when I came to check on my car and saw that it's been sitting there untouched. Phone update on the process with false information and they keep on delaying the pick up date. Imagine if you need an engine repair how long it would take them to fix your car. My vehicle was never in that condition when dropped off. This is a follow up Review My previous review was solely based on customer service, after having something minor fixed on my front bumper I noticed some minor defects that I brought to Russ & Jeremy attention they insisted for me to bring the vehicle back to have the issues fixed which took another 3 days. The reason for the 2 stars is the over quality of the work which you can see in the pictures below where the bumper meets the headlight you can see a blue speck which is debries stuck under the clear coat along with other damage that wasn't present from taking the bumper on & off. In the second picture you can see how bumpy & rough the paint is zoom & you will see what I'm talking about. The original issues which I took it back in for didn't get fix. I knew I should of went to Seidners & took the extra drive to La Puente which I'm sure I will end up doing now. read more

I took My Car in to get fixed after an accident that happened late September, I had to go on a business trip but even on my business trip I would receive constant email updates. The insurance that was paying for the repairs took forever sending checks with too many names to the point where the bank did not want to cash ( Fred Loya)and yet Renee. My visit to Fix Auto in La Habra was such a pleasant experience!!! Easy as dropping clothes off at the cleaners! Owner Russ H. is the nicest person and took a few minutes to sit and talk with me when I arrived. The girls run the front office, very effectively and efficiently. Sorry, I didn't get their names but when I arrived, the one gal had all my paperwork ready, offered me water, went outside to check the damage and called the car rental to pick me up all within 12 minutes! (After claim is filed, they also call you, no pressure, to come in and see them. And during the entire process you receive text updates on how everything is going. Rafael, GM, also called me to personally give me the estimate.) Upon pick up, the other nice gal had me sign paperwork and got me out of there in 8 minutes. The car was washed better than any detail shop has ever done and I so appreciated it! It's nothing you hope for but I will return to Fix Auto La Habra if I ever have to.
