I would never recommend. Their body work was good, but they caused other damage to my car and would not even consider taking responsibility. Pros: I was hit by a driver with USAA insurance. They recommended Fix Auto. The experience was easy and seamless. They worked directly with the insurance company and did a great job completing the body work and front-end alignment. Cons: I picked my vehicle up a couple of days before Christmas. I drove home, and when I walked out later that day, I noticed a huge puddle under the car. A few days later, when I drove the car again, I turned on the AC and realized my previously ice-cold AC was not very cold. Over the next few days, it completely stopped working. I called Fix, who advised that I call USAA. USAA advised that it was a problem with Fix Auto, not them. When I brought the car in, Fix Auto briefly inspected it and stated there was no way their work could have caused the issue. They offered to repair it, but only at my expense. There was no effort to investigate further or take responsibility. I took my vehicle to another mechanic and had to spend nearly $800 getting it fixed. They said the AC line had been punctured. I told them about my interaction with Fix Auto, and they said it was, in fact, very likely that they accidentally punctured it while doing their work but then didn't want to own up to it. Mistakes can happen. That's not the issue. The issue is the complete refusal to take ownership, the lack of accountability, and the dismissive handling of a legitimate concern. read more

USAA has been very confused and said multiple times you have not communicated with them and they approved repairs to be done months ago, I personally requested a hold because your company kept telling me minor repairs were due but when I physically saw my van it was completley wrecked. It had a broken windshield and you guys were not even going to fix it. Something is seriously wrong with your companies communication and to continue to lie about a customer and their insurance company on a public forum only continues to prove my point. And at this moment, your company has been reported not just by me but also my claims representative who says you never contacted him and when he called, he was also told the while was being worked on. read more

Fix Auto Avondale let me and my children drive off in a van that had a wheel that was not properly secured. I brought my 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan in to have the bumper and left rear wheel repaired. After I picked up my van I could hear a loud noise when I reached about 25mph. I thought this was wind being caught in the wheel well or bumper. The next day on my way to pick up my kids from school, I realized the noise was from the wheel not having been secured properly. All 5 lug nuts were loose, with 2 not even being hand tightened. I was only able to tighten 3 of them. The other 2 were not even the correct lug nuts so I didn't have the right tools in my van to fit. On top of that, they didn't even fit on the wheel correctly. I had to take my van to another shop to get that taken care of. I put 2 of my children in the van when I picked it up and drove on the highway. The next day I took my 3 children to school in this van. Fix Auto Avondale put my whole family in serious danger by delivering my van with a wheel that could've completely come off at anytime. I also found some drain plugs they left in the center console of my van. Now I can't but wonder what else might be going on with my vehicle now. I came here for a relatively minor issue and ended up with a far more serious issue that could've become a death trap for my family. read more

I came to the appointment at 2:00 PM today. Just wait for few minutes, a man came out and just in one minute, he gave me an estimate of my car. My car is a Lexus 20011, I told him that I want an overall paint and there is no body work since I just want a new color. Without hesitation, he told me $20,000 for painting the car! I told him that am I mistakenly hearing $20,000?? No, he said! we need to take the car apart, he added. Well, he sounds very confident and positive that he is a professional. I wonder, did he quote the job base on the color of the car or the color of the skin?? It is very good subtle way to tell me: "get the hell out of here!" I thanks him and left! read more

Took my Maserati there for a dent in the door. The door was install poorly, the glass/ window is shaking while I drive. They messed up my switches. Now I can wind my window s down from the driver door but can not wand it back up from the front. I can only do so from the window in the back. They had to paint the door that they fix and may have not covered or wrapped the rest of my car, now they messed up the aesthetic of my car. The side that was not cover from the back passenger door to the roof of my car has this dusty film over it. I have watched it and it still looks the same. Worst part of it all is the door they fixed leaks whenever I go through the car wash. Something that has never happened. Had my vehicle since April of 2017 and this has never happened. Now my leather seats are going to get messed up if it's not fixed. I have called three times regarding my car, went there once, was promised that they would call me and get my car in big it has been almost 2 months. I hope they could have done something about this but at this point I am being run around and it's very frustrating. read more

I recently did a fast and furious back into my garage and knocked my passenger sideview mirror off completely My insurance set my repair to be done at Fix Auto Avondale and I'm so glad they did. I got my quote really fast and the part came in two days later, BUT it was tht wrong one They got correct one in two days later and even installed it quickly because I had my littles with me. I'm rating this place 2 stars because they did fix the body work of my car (2023 Mustang) and were very informative with updates. Although, it seemed like they cared more about getting it out of the shop than completing a quality repair. I do not recommend this shop at all. They do good body work, but everything else they tried to pass off to get it checked out at the dealership. All because they knew I had a recall for the brake light, so I'd have to go to Ford anyways. It gave the impression they just wanted their chunk of the check from the insurance, but didn't care about customer satisfaction. I had to return my car to the shop once it was "repaired" because they did not complete an alignment (it was so bad the steering wheel was tilted to the left when I was going straight), my tire pressure light was still on (despite their reassurance that all my tires had the appropriate amount of air), and they chipped the tint on my windows when they repainted the car. The first two issues they were going to send straight to the dealer "if they couldn't figure it out." I should've just gone to Ford from the beginning. They half-assed the alignment. When I took my car to the dealership to get checked, I had to pay another $150 for them to fix the alignment... again. Ford was way more patient and understanding with me, and even explained the problem to me in layman's terms. They knew exactly what the problem was, how to fix it, and took their time with my car without giving me more issues. Over the phone I was told the tire pressure light went away after they reset it. Although when I picked up the car, they said they had to replace the sensor because it was broken. They did accept 100% responsibility for the tint, but did not match it correctly when they redid it. They never asked what kind of tint I had so I regretfully assumed they'd be able to know based off the old one. Now my windows have a blue film over it and don't match the back windows whatsoever. I tried to call back asking if they could pay my usual tint guy to redo it instead, and even apologized for being an inconvenience, when in fact they inconvenienced me by ruining my tint. They gave me the run around at first saying they don't want to pay for tint again so they'd have to go back to whoever they went to so they could "get as close a match as possible" (which should've been done from the beginning, don't ya think). Then they said they'd talk to their manager and call me back, but I never heard from them again. So now I have to pay out of pocket for the second time, after they also charged my insurance an extra $2,000 from the original asking price for all of these lovely issues. read more

This shop is excellent!! I tried two other shops first and they were unable to complete my running board installation. So, I contacted Fix Auto Repair in Avondale and they said "No problem, we can get you right in" & did an excellent job in less time than I was quoted at the other two shops. If I could give stars based strictly on service I would give this place zero. The repair was fine. However the process and the communication was horrible. My completion day kept getting moved back week after week. When I asked why, I was told a repair of that extent takes that long, as if I should know. At the end of the day, if it really does take that long, set that expectation. Don't let me make arrangements each week on my day off to return the rental and pick up my car. It was a $12000 repair. I purposely picked this facility because it was 3 miles from my home and I like to support local business. But for anyone in the Avondale/Goodyear area, I won't return here and I would definitely not recommend it. read more

Got estimate, shop ordered parts and scheduled repair. Took off the bumper and realized the original bumper was a specialty part that was unavailable. Tried to get me to let them install the wrong part and deal with the other part later and i said no. Then find out the new/ wrong part is broken anyway even tho they said it had already gone to paint. No problem at this point, right? Decide to take it elsewhere since the shop can't get the part and won't install alternative aftermarket custom part (funny because most parts they use are aftermarket, not OEM but ok.) Then the shop says someone has to pay for them removing and replacing my old bumper, like I was going to have to pay them to do the work that they did based on poor due diligence; not having the right part before disassembling the vehicle. I realize this is sometimes hard but this particular part is visible on the outside of the vehicle. Finally says insurance Co is paying for the work. Pick up the car and halfway home the bumper flops halfway off the car. One bracket was broken in the accident, the other was fine and I drove it for 2 months or so after accident without issue waiting for time to deal with the repair. Shop broke the other bracket upon removal of the bumper and now says 1. The bracket is a single use item and broke upon removal and they would have replaced it if they had done the repair. 2. Told the insurance Co the bracket was broken when they got it 3. They didn't do any work to the car so they don't have to fix the bracket to make my car drive able while I find another shop. This is a State Farm approved shop and I went there to make it easy with promise of lifetime warranty. Now the vehicle that I drove without issues until I had time to fix cosmetic damage is not drivable. State Farm says the shop hasn't billed them so the shop doesn't have to warranty anything even tho the shop kinda tried to make it sound like I was going to have to pay for their labor and screw up, now that they messed up my car they didn't submit the billing so they wouldn't have to honor their warranty. They seemed nice enough and I don't think they're scammers but they aren't standing by their work due to their mistake which could have been resolved before ever taking my bumper off. UPDATE TO OWNERS COMMENT: I have already reached out personally and was dismissed by Kris. I have also had State Farm reach out as recently as April 27, we were promised a call back yesterday and as of today, April 28 10:30a, we have yet to hear back from anyone per State Farm claims rep. If you would like to reach out to me directly or to State Farm, Kris has my number on file. I'm not trying to be difficult, I'm just looking for a fair solution. My review history proves I'm not just a disgruntled habitual complainer and I can prove the bumper was attached and the car was safely drivable between the accident and Fix Auto and even Kris acknowledged the bumper was broken when it left. In fact, she knew the what was broken the second I called, before I relayed any details, before I had seen the car and immediately after my wife called in a panic saying her bumper was blowing off on the freeway. I'm sure Kris is very nice and is trying to do her job without accepting culpability but it's just not the right thing to do. read more

READ PRIOR TO GOING HERE! *** i will definitely add more picture My vehicle was in an accident and needed to be repaired. I took the vehicle to FX Auto Body towards the end of July. The vehicle was in their possession for nearly a month. After picking up my vehicle I noticed that the repairs did not look right. I had asked another body shop to give me their opinion on the repairs that had been fixed. After a quick glance at the vehicle there was numerous things wrong with it. There were missing bolts, clips, screws, parts that fit incorrectly, fluids leaking, and a lot more. I called my insurance company and informed them of the situation. The next day my insurance had went out to the second body shop and was appalled at the work that was done. Higher ups from my insurance went to look at my vehicle and took plenty of pictures and inspected the vehicle. My insurance company then made the owner of FX Auto Body go out to the second body shop so he can explain himself and the horrific repair that was completed on my car. The owner had nothing to say. During the first repair of my vehicle I had to find my own way of transportation because I do not have renters insurance. I will be without my vehicle for a second time (not my fault) because FX Auto Body failed to ensure my vehicle was done properly. FX Auto Body paid for a rental for me for 8 days (this was during the inspection time between all parties). The owner called me and told me he refuses to provide me with a rental vehicle anymore because "the time that it should take to fix the damage we caused is 4 days". FX Auto Body has failed to keep in mind that my vehicle is getting repaired AGAIN because of damage they caused and damage they missed. My insurance company even paid for brand new parts to be put on my vehicle and FX Auto Body put my old parts back on. Where are my new parts? Sitting in your shop? Did you sell them? Hmm. I feel as though FX Auto Body has done everything they can to sweep this situation under the rug and forget that they potentially put my life in harm's way. Troy Buck the owner is a very unpleasant person to work with and my vehicle shows their horrendous quality of work. Troy stated that the tech that worked on my vehicle was terminated. That does not solve the issue. Was there not a Quality Check performed on my vehicle? Is this not a procedure? I will do everything in my power to save anyone's car from suffering from a loss like mines. Moral of the story: They will take every dollar they can and not care for the safety of you, your family or friends. First time I took my car in for a back bumper replacement. They were very nice and understanding. Did a wonderful job. However took my car in for a second time thinking same quality of service. A tire hit my car on the highway so the front end bumper and under plate needed to be replaced. Well I'm glad it got done and they were nice and responsive to my questions and concerns, BUT I had to point out a lot of things that weren't put together right. Paint doesn't match, my AC kinda makes a chirping sound and I'm still finding things missing or what looks like a lack of effort. Kinda disappointed because they did so well the first time. The Avondale, AZ location lied about the work that was done on my car. I picked my car up on a Friday 05/08/23 afternoon and was told at that time that the lower side trim was replaced on both sides. The guy specifically touched it and stated that the trim was replaced and it was listed as replaced on the paperwork. When I got home Friday evening, I found so much polish residue on the inside of my door jams. The next morning, I went to clean all my door jams. It was then, that I noticed that the lower side trim was not replaced. It was just wiped down with some kind of conditioner that minimized the scratches but was now wearing off and the scratches were again becoming visible. I called on Monday since they are closed on the weekends. The guy who specifically told me that the lower trim was replaced tried to gaslight me by stating that he never pointed to the lower trim and said they replaced it and that I was mistaken about what he told me. This is a fraudulent practice and I'm sure they thought I wouldn't notice since it was on the bottom of the doors and honestly, if they had done a better job of cleaning up the car polish residue, I probably wouldn't have noticed until days or weeks later when my car needed a detail. read more

This is the worst experience I've ever had with car repair PLEASE do not take your car here the service technicians are dishonest and they have no integrity they are frauds!!!! My car was supposed to be fixed within a week it has been nearly a month now and my car it's still not fixed properly, I will have to take my car to another body shop to get it repaired properly because of other damage they have caused. Please don't waste your time I'm helping you by making this review. When you attempt to speak with the Supervisor Derek he is the worst of all with a negative condescending attitude. He is very narcissistic. The best part of the dealings I've had has been with the front desk young lady she always remains with customer service they use her as a fluke for their horrible work they do. Although I will have to take my car to another place to be repaired the the technicians who fix the cars will have to deal with Karma whether it comes in the form of the same thing happening to them or in another form they will have to live with the inconsistencies of life as they cause the issues with other peoples lives.
