As they say, if I could give them a zero star review, I would. Of course, after my magnificent review of them years ago, I naturally wanted to take my vehicle back to them. Three times it was other cars hitting my vehicle. Once was at the dealer's lot before I took possession of the vehicle and the other two times someone else hit my vehicle, so my insurance initially paid for the repairs and they were reimbursed by the other parties insurances. This time it was on me. I had a scrape at home to which I filed under my insurance for my vehicle to get fixed. I was approved by my insurance for repairs and returned to Fix Auto of Anaheim, but they did not allow me to drop the car off as my insurance instructed me to do. They sent me home and told me they would call me to make an appointment for a drop off. All along I never knew it was a game. I got an estimate emailed to me from one of the estimators, Matthew. The estimate detailed what it would cost, however, it said the total time to take to do the job would be, "zero days". They said they could not do the job because they could not get the "parts". The "parts" that were necessary was the paint, which, of course no one uses dealer paint, they make their own paint, and come up with the color based on the Vin number. I called Matthew to inquire why they would give me an estimate but not be repairing my vehicle, as I was sent by my insurance company, AAA, for them to do the repair, and I was a repeat previous customer. He told me that he would speak to his manager and ask if he would reconsider repairing my vehicle, because I am a repeat customer. Reconsider repairing my vehicle? He said he would call me back. I never did hear from him. I called him again, and he never returned my phone call. I could not believe I was lied to by this company's representatives. They are no longer owned by the previous Fix Auto owners as the company had gone over a major change over the last decade. Thankfully, I was referred to Fix Auto La Habra, formerly Sharper Image Collision, by my Chiropractor, who has brought his family's vehicles there for many years. The difference in service and treatment to me, was 180°. I will definitely be doing a wonderful review for them. Auto Club, followed up on both places, and of course I told them the horrible experience I had with Fix Auto Anaheim. How sad that a reputable place is now shady. My guess is that my car wasn't worth it to them when they were getting bigger jobs. Perhaps dealers around them? However, I let my dealership know how they treated me, to which they were sorry to hear how I was treated. It's unfortunate to have auto collisions. But luckily, my experience with Alison from Fix Auto has been nothing but spectacular! Not only did they finish the repair earlier than expected, Alison also went above and beyond to have a form completed for my insurance. This "Certified Mechanic Statement" was requested by my insurance company and I had trouble finding someone to have this filled out for me. I spent countless hours trying to any mechanics to complete this for me, but all of them have never heard of this form (neither have I) and all refused to do it for me. But guess what? Alison was able to take care of this on my behalf and even contacted the insurance company for me. Now this is called superb service! Got my car back yesterday and the job done was great. Of the 3 collision experiences I've had, this is by far the best service I've experienced. Shout out to Alison and thank you so much for making this pleasant for me. This place sent us a confirmation text message. All of a sudden in the morning of that day, a woman called us insisting that they do not have time for us. She kept repeating they were fully booked and there website calendar and their work calendar are different. We told her we already took a day off for the service specifically, but she did not care. No resolution or other options. Just kicked us out. The only thing she did was repeating: unfortunately, unfortunately, unfortunately. We were about to call for a supervisor to help us get the service today. Then I read the recent bad reviews about them breaking people's car. No, thank you. Talk about a scammer. I got sent there by my insurance to get an estimate for a shallow, non-creased dent. Guess how much they much the wanted? $1,201.76. I don't know why they have to remove both tail lights for a dent on the right quarter panel, why they want to take the bumper cover off, and why they are removing the quarter glass for a dent. They want to completely repaint the entire quarter panel...for a dent. My vehicle has barely over 5,000 miles, so it's not like they have to even fade the paint that much. read more

They are a preferred AAA auto shop so I made an appointment there. I went to my appointment to drop off my car. They then tell me they have no one to repair the car. That it would a week before anyone could start the work. If they had at least told me that I would not have gone there. So I make the appointment to go back the next week because I don't want to just have my car sitting there. In the meantime, they were supposed to call me back to answer some questions, which they did not. On the day of my second appointment, I called to make sure my car will be repaired. However, they don't have any of the photos they took and still can't answer any of the questions I had in regard to repairing the car. He didn't even offer to call me back and lookup up the photos. The receptionist was nice, the person that took the photos was nice. But why make someone come to your shop to tell them you can't fix their car? read more

My model X got hit by a truck while it was parked. Repairs went through the other guys insurance (State Farm). The process was easy to find a Tesla approved and State Farm approved place with good reviews. I met Leslie the first appointment to have the damage assessed. She was very friendly, professional and informative on the process. She did let me know beforehand Tesla parts sometimes take a while to come in so she was asking for my patience in advance (I totally appreciate the heads up). After the assessment was done by the technician, an estimate was sent to the insurance who approved to proceed. They took a deposit before part ordering. I called frequently to get updates since I had to coordinate with my work schedule. Once all the parts came in, I dropped off my car for repair. During the repair process, Leslie did send auto messages for an update so I was kept in the loop. The repairs finished within 2 weeks. However, after going through the car wash. I identified a water look inside the cabin. I emailed and called Leslie so she could see my photo of the issue. She requested for me to bring it in for inspection when I got the chance. Second appointment, she squeezed me in the morning of. Had it assessed and it was identified as a seal issue. Another appointment was set to have car dropped off for revision repair. Unfortunately, they do not offer rentals for their service revisions. She informed me it would only Take a day so I borrowed my husbands car in the interim. After the one full day, the vehicle was ready to pick up. She was apologetic about the inconvenience. Told me to keep an eye on it but they sealed it really good this time. No leaks so far! I came in today, because I called to confirm if I can drop off my car without an appointment required and the receptionist or person who answered asked the manager and said yes, once I arrived the customer service rep (Jesse) for State Farm looked at my car he made me feel less, because my car is not very valuable enough. I got the feeling they earn commission based on customers repairs. He asked me to come back because they need to order the parts "company policy" (in a condescending tone) and leave a deposit $250 deposit. I took my toyota tacoma for a dent and paint refinish on the right pillar. They told me the car would be ready in 1 and 1/2 weeks to 2 weeks, they ended up calling me for pick up earlier than the estimated time, so i was really happy. I returned the rental car and got an uber to fix auto, to my surprise that the car wasn't actually ready, they had missed a huge notable spot that needed paint. Not only did they waste my time but i also had to miss a couple hours of work to bring the car back the next day so they could fully finish the job. i don't know their vehicle release process, but they should inspect the car and work done before calling the costumer for pick up! read more

Overall, it's just not fun and can disrupt your normal routine! I got in a minor car accident before Thanksgiving and had to work through my insurance on choosing a repair shop. They recommended two and after doing my research, I chose Fix Auto Anaheim. I, first, sent an appointment request via their website and got a call almost minutes after I hit send! I spoke to Alyssa and scheduled a drop-off for the weekend. Later that day, Sarahy called back and mentioned they actually weren't available that Saturday and had to reschedule. No problem -- lucky for me, I was off the week of Thanksgiving. I scheduled my appointment for the following Monday. Fast forward to Monday... I drove my car to the shop, parked and walked inside. I was immediately greeted by Sarahy. Warm welcomes, happy smiles... as I waited, she offered coffee and water. She checked in on me from time to time to ensure I was comfortable in the waiting room while she was assisting other customers. She also gave me paperwork to fill out and went outside to scope out the car. She explained the entire process to me while she was gathering information for my car. I was probably in that office no more than 20 mins. It was easy and painless. As the week went on, she called me daily to give me updates on the car. Sometimes I would pick up and talk to her directly, other times she would leave a voicemail. Either way, she provided me clear details on what was going on with my car every day. On Wednesday, she mentioned that the car might be ready by Thursday. On Saturday, she called again to give me an update, and said, "It might be done Tuesday!" Well, to my surprise, this Monday (12/2), Sarahy called to tell me my car was going to be ready by the end of the day! Can you believe?! That was such a fast fix! I hopped in the car and headed right on over. The car looked GORGEOUS! Like, I brought it in and it had an ugly racing stripe (haha, that's what I called my damage) and was covered in dirt (hey, it was raining on and off prior), so coming out and see my car all shiny and new was a treat! It seemed that they cleaned the car inside and out. They buffed the entire car because it was sooooo shiny! It hadn't looked like that in a long time (I'm a busy gal). Overall, my experience with Fix Auto was a dream. I was constantly updated throughout the entire process, and Sarahy made sure of that. Sarahy for MVP! Hopefully, I don't get in an accident any time soon, but IF... and that's a huge IFFFFF... I do, I'm definitely coming back to Fix Auto. This is the second time I take my vehicle to Fix Auto. The first time the turn around was amazing, but this time Fix Auto went the extra mile and did a lot of phone calls for me. They first made sure I was going to be covered with a rental and went ahead and called one of their recommended rental place. After they made the call a Lyft picked me up. After that they went ahead and explained the process and told me it should be a quick fix. Sarahy was on top of everything. Sarahy made sure that the other party's insurance would expedite the payment process to have my vehicle released as soon as they were done. Since I mentioned that I will be needing my vehicle the following weekend. She kept me updated about everything and my car released a couple days after Fix Auto was done with the repair. I brought my car to Fix Auto on a Thursday for an estimate, photos, and invoice to be sent to my insurance company. The representative (who I will not name but I feel I should) assured me that they'd send it over and I'd receive a call back in 1-2 business days. On Tuesday, when I contacted my insurance, they hadn't received anything. Upon calling Fix Auto, I learned that the rep who assisted me wasn't available and the person I spoke to couldn't confirm whether the estimates were sent. They mentioned no file was even created for me and no one else could help. This repeated the next day, leading me to decide to go to another auto shop. I find it unprofessional that no account was created or estimates sent, and frustrating that there was no alternative solution provided by the representative I spoke to. I am giving them two stars because when I first called, the rep Stephen was really communicative and helped me set up an appointment. He was great. Came in to pick up my car after a minor fender bender. The car had polishing dust all over the car, door jams, and seams. I asked if the price I paid included a car detail. I was told that the car was detailed but that it was dusty because it was windy the night before. I did not believe that because from the dust and streaks on the car it was obvious that the car was just rinsed and dried. After checking with our insurance company and having a free repair estimate performed by Fix Auto, we decided it was cheaper to pay out of pocket rather than deal with insurance. It was smooth and easy service from the start, and in two days I had my car back looking good as new (truth be told, it looked better...10 years before someone backed into me and I had my bumper replaced by another repair shop that never matched my pain quite right)! In 30 years of driving, this is HANDS DOWN the most competent repair shop my family has ever had the honor of dealing with. Stephanie and all the office staff are extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and technically savvy as their system sends text messages, emails of various steps in progress photos, and can handle interfacing with Insurance providers (in this case, Mercury vs Western General) and rental car carriers (Enterprise) just like you've always dreamed a shop should. The worst part of an accident beyond injury and $$ is all the stress of knowing that you're going to half to double check all the various vendors and fix their mess-- not here. I dropped it off, was updated via text, email, and phone as was appropriate to the info, and I just showed up and it was done. Enterprise even picks up drop offs! The shop crew are miracle workers. I honestly can't explain how they repaired the photo I posted THE SAME DAY I DROPPED OFF THE CAR! My Buick has a special option metallic blank paint, and the scratches from the accident were 1mm+ deep, and yet I can't tell that anything happened. Dropped off at 8am damaged, drove home repaired at 4:30pm... on a Friday. My Dad had a really bad accident in his Yukon Denali, and because of the extent of the damage, the front office fought (and Won) against the insurance/rental agencies to extend rental coverage beyond the contract length (saved him $500). I'm sure their skills with other brands are just as amazing, but as a General Motors family with two case studies, this repair shop next to Harden BUICK GMC should be the only phone call you make. Then flash forward 3 long months the car is basically cosmetically fine, one of the headlights looks like a used one but at least it's not smashed. Car lasted me no longer than an hour, stopped on the way into the Freeway, cannot believe this. I return to them a perfectly functioning 2jzge and they give me back the car telling me it's not their fault. After an irresponsible driver collided with my EV, I needed repairs. I initially chose Fix Auto Anaheim due to the prior excellent reviews but my experience has been far less than satisfactory. 1. The communication with the front desk and the collision specialist assigned to my case was poor. After speaking with a collision specialist, I made an initial appointment to tow in my EV for inspection. I called the front desk on the morning of the appointment to give advance notice of my arrival but I was told by that if I were to bring it in, I would need to tow it back home afterwards due to the facility reaching "tow capacity". I would then need to tow it (for a 3rd time) back to their facility after the parts arrived to perform the repairs. I found that process to be ludicrous, but still tried to work with them. I cancelled my tow and was then connected with the collision specialist. It turns out the specialist was willing to accept my EV without having me tow it back, but this was not communicated with the front desk. 2. I then sent photos to allow for a "virtual estimate" to be made so that parts can be ordered with the mutual understanding that additional parts may need to be ordered in the future once the EV is formally brought in and a full disassembly could take place. After submitting photos, I did not hear back from the collision specialist. I made at least 2 calls to the front desk on separate days and was told to expect a callback but never received one. On the next call, another collision specialist handled the call instead of a secretary. I was told that the initial collision specialist was on leave thus I needed to submit the photos again for another collision specialist to have access to them. It does not appear that the center has adequate contingency plans to accommodate for personnel leaves of absence. 3. I then needed to wait for Fix Auto to send the estimate to the insurance adjuster to get approval before parts could be ordered. After about a week, I had not received updates thus emailed the adjuster and collision specialist. It appears that the estimate was approved but I did not receive notice from Fix Auto. With the above experience it is difficult not to feel as if Fix Auto does not want or value my business. I am speculating that this may be due to the model of my vehicle (a popular EV brand). Needless to say, I will be seeking repairs from a different collision center. read more

I had my Tesla for 3 weeks before someone decided to not stop while I was at a stop on the freeway and smashed in the rear of my car. Fix Auto- Anaheim has a division that specializes in Tesla repair. Pros: - Fix Auto does a GREAT job communicating the status of the repairs. I was receiving calls every couple weeks which I really appreciated. It took almost 2 months to repair my car, but I don't feel that had anything to do with Fix Auto as these cars do take time to put back together considering all of the technology. - Staff was very friendly. - Car was completed prior to the estimated delivery date. Con: - I picked up my car right as these were closing. I immediately pointed out that my rear doors do not open as the front doors do. Both rear doors were damaged in the accident and repaired. I have since reached back out to Fix Auto and received a very timely response to bring my car back in after the holidays to be looked at. After Fix Auto having my car for almost two months I was really hoping that I would not need to being it back. If it was not for this issue, I would gladly have rated them 5 stars across the board. I brought my fleet car here because this was an approved body shop. When I arrived, the front desk was rude. I waited for over a half hour to get my estimate which was just a basic fender bender. After filling out paperwork twice they shared with me they would send it over to my fleet company for approval. I waited over two weeks, no estimate. I received call back from my fleet company asking where the estimate was. I called the body shop back. They couldn't find the estimate said it was lost and the person that was writing the estimate quit. I had to go back in to get another estimate. The estimate was provided the next day to my fleet company. The work was done on the car however, it looked like the bumper was dropped and never completed properly. I went back in to talk to the manager. She said that I would have to pay for the work to be completed again since it wasn't their fault. She said you must've been hit in the parking lot while your car was waiting to be picked up or someone hit me again. They were also very rude to me, told me to get my car from the side of their building instead of bringing it up to me at the entrance. I'll never go back to this autobody shop again. Oh, and by the way, they provided an estimate, they told me that if the estimate goes over a penny while repairing my vehicle they will call me to discuss before they completed the work. They completed the work the work cost an additional thousand dollars versus the original estimate. I asked them what was done and they couldn't provide that information nor could they provide the information as to why I was not contacted. I had an amazing experience with Fix Auto from the moment I requested a quote until the very end when I was driving away in my newly fixed car. Stephanie and Alyssa were so incredibly kind and sweet to me and made me feel like I was an old friend or even a family member. Stephanie and I especially bonded and referred to each other as "cousins". I received a pretty accurate estimate and was able to bring my car in the very next day! As I was going through insurance, the team at Fix Auto made it as painless as possible for me. They called my rental company for me to get me a rental car and even offered to Uber me to them if they were unable to pick me up in a reasonable amount of time. I swear the car looks better now than when I first purchased it. They fixed all my repairs, washed my car (inside and out) and shined up my tires. On May 3 I got into an accident. My Insurance provided me with Shops and I chose Fix Auto Anaheim since it was close to home. I could not be happier that I pick that Location. On Friday May 4th the car went to fix it Auto and today 15th I GOT MY CAR!!!! Very Fast and efficient, the customer Service is OUTSTANDING!! Katie & Jesse keep me updated about me car. I had a great experience with the staff and mechanic at Fix Auto. The moment I walked into the lobby, Alyssa greeted me with a warm welcome. She walked me through my paperwork and what will happen to my car. She even ordered an Uber (at Fix Auto's expense), and arranged for me to pick up my rental car with a place that Fix Auto works with directly. Stephanie and Alyssa contacted me with updates on my car. They answered every question in a good-natured and patient fashion. I was even transferred to Jesse, the mechanic, and he provided more in depth answers to some of my questions. Again, he was kind and friendly. Eventually when it was time to pick up my car, I did not have to return my rental; Fix Auto took care of the car for me. My car was returned to me shiny and clean. The staff at Fix Auto walked through my inspection with me and made sure everything on my car was to my satisfaction. The work was done in a timely manner too.
