I've been coming here for almost 3 years and have always left happy...until this past Friday between 10-10:30 AM. There was only one lady working, an older woman with glasses. She was very kind, but unfortunately, this was the most painful threading session I've ever had. It felt like far too much hair was removed, and when she finished, she applied aloe without asking (something the other ladies usually do after checking if the customer wants it). When she handed me the mirror, I noticed my brows looked a little uneven, but since I was rushing to a doctor's appointment, I paid and left. Later, in better lighting, I was shocked. My brows were extremely thin...something I've never experienced here. I've always had naturally fuller brows, even though they've thinned slightly with age, and I take pride in keeping them that way. I honestly wanted to cry. I eventually called to share my concerns, and while no manager or owner was available, the girl who answered was very sweet and understanding. I explained what happened and suggested that the threaders be reminded to always confirm exactly what the customer wants...especially when someone asks for a simple clean-up. I know brows grow back, but this has been really upsetting, especially with an event I have next weekend. This is definitely a learning experience for me, and I just want to encourage others to be specific with their requests and, if possible, stick to a threader you trust for consistency.

After a quick Yelp search, I found Rehana Beauty Bar and realized it was in the San Tan Village mall. I love visiting the mall but wasn't sure exactly where it was. Of course my GPS just dropped me off in the middle of the mall, so you want to look for the Honeybee Boba tea place and it's right next to Fast Fix Jewelry. Luckily, Rehana herself picks up the phone and she directed me on where exactly to go. Parking is readily available at the mall. It's $18 only to get your eyebrows threaded and I was in and out with no appointment in less than 10 minutes. It's quick, easy, she listened to what I wanted and did it in a heartbeat. She has another location in Mesa and she's opening a new one in Queen Creek. This location has been around for four years. She also sells jewelry and clothes. You get a punchcard that you can use towards the discounted service. She is super sweet and was so nice to my kids who joined me for the occasion! I…read moreasked them to not go above a certain line because I'm trying to grow out my brows to make them look fuller. However, they ended up taking more than I wanted. Fortunately, my brows are microbladed so they already have a shape and can't technically be ruined. Pros: the ladies are nice and cleaned the areas I wanted really well. They also work quickly. The space is clean and the prices are reasonable. Location is right in downtown Chandler.
