Nice corner bar with outside seating, too. We stopped in for a drink around 4:30 and happily discovered bottled wine half-price on Wednesday! Ordered a $29 bottle of Chardonnay, drank half and they wrapped up the rest for us to go. Bill? $14.50 plus tax and gratuity. Winning! Service was excellent, BTW.

Sloppy Joe nachos

Stopped in for a quick dinner while passing through town. The food was good, but nothing spectacular. We started with the soft pretzel appetizer & sloppy Joe nachos. The kids loved the soft pretzels. The nachos could have used more toppings. Once you got below the top layer the chips were dry. The kids meals of chicken tenders & fries came with a side of fruit which was a nice touch. However the fries are seasoned, which my kids were not a fan of. The shrimp/sausage penne pasta was good, would recommend. The burger was also good, but nothing spectacular. The interior was incredibly dark, felt like they could add more lights or make it brighter for better ambience. Prob would not come back.

I liked the tacos that I had & the fronions (sp?) were a nice touch. You can get both onion rings and fries, the waitress was helpful with recommendations suggested a sauce to go on the side as well. They have a nice outdoor eating area! If the weather is nice when you visit highly recommend eating out there.

We tried here today in search of a venue for my daughter's wedding dinner. The food was delicious! I had the Sloppy Joseph with potato salad. Best potato salad I've ever had in a restaurant! My daughter had the fettuccine with blackened chicken. For appetizer we had the pretzels. Our service from Kayla was fantastic! She's friendly and always with a smile. Ian met with us about renting the upstairs area, Pontiac room for the wedding dinner. Prices for catering was on point and the space perfect for what we need. He was very nice and on top of everything in the restaurant.

Built my own burger and sweet potato waffle fries

SWEET POTATO WAFFLE FRIES. That's it that's all you need to know. Great spot after hiking in the nearby state park. It was challenging to find a spot open on a Sunday afternoon, but this did not disappoint. I sat outside since it was beautiful, they had tables and nice string lights, the music was great. My waitress Shelby was so sweet and attentive! Ordered a burger and sweet potato waffle fries and Shelby recommended the honey mustard sauce. Yummmm. They also have their menu well marked for gluten free and offer a gf burger bun!

Corra was our waitress and did a phenomenal job taking care of us. The food was good and everyone enjoyed their meal.

Awesome place -- they have a "build your own salad," option that is very generous. Great service and atmosphere.

I'm going to be honest - I don't know much about the Huntersville area but I definitely can tell…read moreyou if a bar is good or not and Main St. Tavern is awesome! I would have never guessed that there was a bar here by the tracks had my boyfriend not brought me here. It's a local dive bar with a lot of great personality. The personality's come from many directions too! It's so hard not to have a good time. The owner, Bobby, is so nice and humble. I had only been there a couple of Football Sundays and he recognized me (also.. there probably not that many crazy haired Asians walking in daily, but yeah) and knew what I ordered. I love that "local" feel especially when I just moved to a brand new state and I feel out of touch no matter where I go! The bartender's are also stellar. In my visits there, I have noticed a couple of different women working the bar, but Brittany is my go-to! She is badass. For example, I was there for their NYE's party and she was single-handedly holding. it. down. Remember what drinks we ordered, ready to replenish, and even made me a custom shot though she was slammed. As a HUGE bonus: She's a NY Jets fan. :D I've come during the day and during the night as well. Each time I have seen familiar faces, which is always a good sign! Everyone is usually having a really great time and if there is ever any issues, the bad apple is taken care of immediately. Everyone is truly so nice and friendly. I've never had so many random, genuine conversations with people I have never met before in my life. They have multiple TVs, so there isn't an issue trying to catch whatever game you're into. Basket hoop game thing, virtual golf, and other things to keep the boys occupied. Bathroom is ALWAYS clean (another big plus!) each time I've gone. It's a hard working, low-key bar with high quality delivery and service. DEFINITELY recommend if you are in H-ville, looking to hang with the local scene and grab some awesome drinks.

What a wonderful neighborhood hangout! It's truly a modern day "Cheers"…read more Kenzie is such a great bartender and never fails to make you feel welcome. The prices are a lot less expensive with a great selection and specials. They don't serve food but they also don't care if you bring it with you. They have a lot of tv screens for sporting events and you can always find a regular hanging out. Love this place! Cheers!

They offer beer, cider, and meades as well as a list of recommended ways to mix them. They have tons of seating inside and a large patio full of tables, creating an open and relaxed atmosphere. The food is perfect! Everything we had from beer, appetizers to meal was delicious. They have a large parking lot and are family-friendly . Definitely stop in if you are in the area. Try Freya's love bite, their strawberry blonde ale, hands down one of the best I've ever had!

While having dinner in the area, I drove past Buzzed Viking and was immediately intrigued mostly…read morebecause of the name, but also because I love trying new breweries. I was told that the original location is in Concord, and later found out that they don't just brew beer, but also mead! We came in on a Friday night after dinner and it was lively but not over crowded with a performer up on stage playing guitar and singing some classics. In addition to their beer and mead, they have a list of creative cocktails as well as a food menu. The food coming out looked great! If we weren't full from dinner we would have surely indulged. Overall the vibe isn't typical for a brewery and feels more like a neighborhood pub, they even have arcade games and pool tables, things you're most likely to find at a dive than a micro brewery. I loved the atmosphere and everyone enjoyed their beverages. They had a cheer wine cider that was especially tasty. Not I need to go check out the OG, but this location in Locust is top notch.
