    Sloppy Joe nachos

Stopped in for a quick dinner while passing through town. The food was good, but nothing spectacular. We started with the soft pretzel appetizer & sloppy Joe nachos. The kids loved the soft pretzels. The nachos could have used more toppings. Once you got below the top layer the chips were dry. The kids meals of chicken tenders & fries came with a side of fruit which was a nice touch. However the fries are seasoned, which my kids were not a fan of. The shrimp/sausage penne pasta was good, would recommend. The burger was also good, but nothing spectacular. The interior was incredibly dark, felt like they could add more lights or make it brighter for better ambience. Prob would not come back.

I liked the tacos that I had & the fronions (sp?) were a nice touch. You can get both onion rings and fries, the waitress was helpful with recommendations suggested a sauce to go on the side as well. They have a nice outdoor eating area! If the weather is nice when you visit highly recommend eating out there.

We tried here today in search of a venue for my daughter's wedding dinner. The food was delicious! I had the Sloppy Joseph with potato salad. Best potato salad I've ever had in a restaurant! My daughter had the fettuccine with blackened chicken. For appetizer we had the pretzels. Our service from Kayla was fantastic! She's friendly and always with a smile. Ian met with us about renting the upstairs area, Pontiac room for the wedding dinner. Prices for catering was on point and the space perfect for what we need. He was very nice and on top of everything in the restaurant.

Corra was our waitress and did a phenomenal job taking care of us. The food was good and everyone enjoyed their meal.

SWEET POTATO WAFFLE FRIES. That's it that's all you need to know. Great spot after hiking in the nearby state park. It was challenging to find a spot open on a Sunday afternoon, but this did not disappoint. I sat outside since it was beautiful, they had tables and nice string lights, the music was great. My waitress Shelby was so sweet and attentive! Ordered a burger and sweet potato waffle fries and Shelby recommended the honey mustard sauce. Yummmm. They also have their menu well marked for gluten free and offer a gf burger bun!

The waitresses happily greet us, each of us who come in at various times and they quickly get all our drink orders as we come in. The five of us ordered a variety of foods and everything looked amazing, tasted fresh, and was so delicious. My Cobb Salad was full of fresh before and was full of flavor. The restaurant had good music playing, and most tables were full of people enjoying dinner and casual conversations, even on a Monday. My friends and I never felt rushed to leave so we ate and talked for 3 hours. It's definitely a place to bring friends and family to enjoy dinner and catch up.

    Table decorations were beautiful.

Planning a wedding rehearsal dinner is never easy, doing the planning for an event in NC when you are in FL is very stressful, but Ian helped me every step of the way. All the coordination with the balloon company, the selfie mirror and the staff at Five Points increased my stress level. But from the time we arrived on site to start to decorate the space the 5 Points Team was AMAZING, everything we asked about they were more than happy to take care of, and it was always done quickly and with a smile. Anything this important always comes down to people, and there were so many that were simply amazing, Jesse the Executive Chef seemed to be everywhere and helped with so many things (many I am sure were not his responsibility), but he never shied away when we asked a question. Shana and Ashleigh who kept everything moving beginning the morning of the event with setting up, to the night of the event, working the bar, cleaning up the tables and everything else that came up they were all over it. Smiles, positive responses and such and amazing level of service it was noticed by all of our guests the entire night. The whole set up began with the help of Lindsay who helped us get started by answering all of our questions and explaining how everything would flow the best during the set up process, she gave us a sense of relief just seeing how much she cared about the success of our event.

We decided on the their appetizer sampler just to get a feel for their food, and it wasn't a great feel. The wings were burnt, Maybe that's their "style" but it didn't work. They were so dry. The shrooms had too much breading and were also overcooked, thought at least not burnt. The mozzarella sticks were actually decent. The pretzels was good, but some awful beer cheese. I had two of their IPA's and I did enjoy those. Unfortunately not someplace I'd go back to unless someone assured me it was better

Indeed, if the cold North runs through you veins, you'll find house beer and mead aplenty to wet your whistle in an atmosphere that while housed in a modern shopping center, is still somehow appropos. Unfortunately, I had driving to do, so alcohol wasn't in the cards, but the menu appealed to us. We needed some comfort food, so we ended up with an appetizer sampler that included a baked pretzel, jalapeno poppers (instead of the fried ravioli that I guess they were out of), buffalo wings, and mozz sticks. We also got a pizza from the current specials, the spicy hawaiin. We like pineapple on pizza, and definitely prefer pepperoni to ham, and this also included jalapenos... so it sounded right up our alley. FYI, there are no waiters, you simply order at the bar, and they give you a numbered buzzer to pick up your food when ready. I greatly prefer this way of doing things honestly. For the food, honestly... a mixed bag, hence the one star off. The pretzel was great, probably the best of the bunch. Jalapeno poppers were nice and large, good flavor balance of cream cheese and jalapeno. Mozz sticks were mozz sticks. We didn't care for the wings. For one, they weren't tossed in the buffalo sauce, it was just poured over the top, and they also were a tad dry... maybe fried too long. The pizza was a letdown, especially since other reviews were so complimentary of it. The slices were very floppy, it maybe could have used a couple minutes more. The cheese had a nice flavor, but the sauce was not either of our preference. Could have used more pineapple, less jalapeno to balance the bites. Overall, we didn't finish it, and didn't take the leftovers for later. It could just be our personal tastes, so go and decide for yourself. Outside of food, it was trivia night, and people were having a great time. We would have taken part if we were staying longer. I think if I lived in the area, I would still come here, and just figure out what food items are the ones to get and which ones aren't. Great atmosphere, friendly bartender and people.

The place looks like a pub, inside and out, with a huge patio in the rear. All the workers we encountered were really polite and personable. It was very clean inside, even the bathrooms. We pretty much knew what we wanted but enjoyed looking at the menu anyway. Started off with a 20 oz Black & Tan and a 16 oz Harps. So good. My husband had the Fish and Chips. Perfect fry, thick and flaky fish, served with a side of malt vinegar and tartar sauce. The slaw was crisp and savory and the fries crisp. He loved every bite. I had the Bangers and Mash. The sausage was tender with a delicious onion gravy. Some veggies were included (green beans, cauliflower and carrot). The mash itself was creamy and chunky, just the way I love it. Complete comfort food. We ended the meal by splitting a dish of Sticky Toffee Pudding. It was sweet and savoury, with a hint of salt to balance, topped with vanilla ice cream and more toffee sauce. (I haven't had a Sticky Toffee Pudding since I was a child and this was such a delicious treat to share.) The whole experience was exceptional and we cannot wait to go back.

They, very kindly, offered to put us on the list while we were in-route! We arrived and were seated within minutes. Very cool of them to do that! Our waiter was very patient, friendly and explained the specials and menu items in detail. He made the dining a positive experience for sure! Potato bites were good. Whatever the shmear underneath was it could use some more of that! Bangers and mash were meh. Bland mash, overcooked bangers and not enough gravy. I was provided some extra gravy though. Fish and Chips were a big hit! Perfect cook and the batter was light, crisp and stuck to the fish well! Tartar was great. Slaw was on the boring side but unnecessary in the end. Everyone was friendly, a band was playing, the lights were dim, drinks were cold and the fish is good. If you live in the area I highly recommend checking it out!

I was told that the original location is in Concord, and later found out that they don't just brew beer, but also mead! We came in on a Friday night after dinner and it was lively but not over crowded with a performer up on stage playing guitar and singing some classics. In addition to their beer and mead, they have a list of creative cocktails as well as a food menu. The food coming out looked great! If we weren't full from dinner we would have surely indulged. Overall the vibe isn't typical for a brewery and feels more like a neighborhood pub, they even have arcade games and pool tables, things you're most likely to find at a dive than a micro brewery. I loved the atmosphere and everyone enjoyed their beverages. They had a cheer wine cider that was especially tasty. Not I need to go check out the OG, but this location in Locust is top notch.
