Pizza 1 and Pizza 2

Me and my son (forget all that 'My son and I bs--it reminds me of some tight-ass no-imagination English professor that wears a red bowtie and counts geese in all the parks in his county on his free time) went to a concert at The Basement East right down the road. It was close enough that we walked. If you're curious about who we saw at this 560-person venue, you will have to go to my IG. I got a few reels. IG is also the only place you can reach me now. FB, TT, X, website, and email are all out. I do have a secret email but it's most definitely not the one tied to this account--that one is inactive. I only mention how to contact me because the number of people reading these reviews exceeds the number of readers for my books. That's a lot of exposure. So, it's possible someone would say, "We want that mfer!" But therein lies the problem. I misbehave while being incredibly reliable. Anyway, about that pizza.... If you look carefully at the photo, you will see the slice of pepperoni in the background. My son told me it was the best slice of pizza he has ever eaten. And that's a lot of pizza. In fact, he has taken a photo of every slice of pizza he has ever consumed and posted all of them on his 'Pizza Wall.' His theory is that pizza always puts him in a good mood, so why not always be looking at pizza. Okay, none of that is true, except for the part that he said it was the best pizza he ever had. My slice was very good but I don't know about all that. It seems to be a common theme at Five Points East though. Therefore, go for it! Our server, Annie, was excellent. And very efficient at her job. As for atmosphere, pretty cool! Small but cool. And I actually like that they don't have Italian food and stick to their speciality. Also, there is a small bar in the back. Highly Recommended!

Quick bites while in East Nashville. Nothing too crazy & nothing too complex. If you need a good slice or an entire pie then surely this place is cool. In the heart of east Nashville- they move quick so that's a bonus. Can't say it was the best slice ever. It did the job. Pepperoni 8/10 Prosciutto and basil 8/10

Overall: This is a must after a night out. Well priced for a HUGE slice of pizza, and delicious. I wish I could've tried their garlic knots too. Service: Pizza came out right away and was hot and fresh! Ambience: A little window, tucked away - nice for a to go spot!

This had to have been one of the best places in Nashville hands down. The pizza is so good! And the deals are actually insane. You can have a whole meal for like $7. They do slices of pizza which I think is a complete life hack. They have special slices every day. The vibe is chill and the service was good. We went back multiple times.

I genuinely don't understand the hype around Five Points Pizza. The dough was one of the worst parts -- it looked and tasted like it had barely been proofed or allowed to rise at all. The crust came out dense, flat, and stiff like cardboard instead of having any real texture or chew you'd expect from a decent pizza place. What made it even more disappointing was how stingy they were with the toppings. For a place with such a strong reputation, the pizza looked bare and thrown together with the absolute minimum amount possible. The balance between crust, sauce, cheese, and toppings was completely off. For the prices they charge and the popularity they have, I expected something much better. This felt more like overpriced cafeteria pizza than one of Nashville's "must-try" spots. Learn how to proof dough!

Oh my gosh! I loved that pizza soooo much! I have a bookmark problem in the City of Nashville. I have way too many you see. I am not sure when I began hoarding BM here, but it's silly. This last trip I removed like 10 because they weren't there any longer. Ugh Anyway, I ended up here by total accident. I was hell bent on going to Joyland, just down the way, but it was completely empty. This place was packed so I took it as a sign from the universe. It was busy inside, but I found a seat pretty easily up by the front window. Oddly, there was a steady stream of people running by the place the entire time I was there. Like hundreds of people. Like for exercise, not running from Godzilla or anything. My server was some really skinny dude, he was cool though. He took great care of me and made some solid suggestions, one of which I ended up trying. He mentioned the Habanero Cream Pie and I was immediately intrigued. I like pizza, but I love strange, not normal type pizzas even more! This junt was right up my alley. I left off the onions on mine. Do what you like. It came out smokin hot in so many ways! I loved this pizza. The crust was great! The crust was great! The crust was great! The crust was great! THE CRUST WAS GREAT! The habanero cream sauce was so delicious. It was rich, creamy, and spicy to me, which is banging spicy to some. The toppings were fresh and well distributed, and it was cooked perfectly. I could go on and on about this pizza. Got damn! The leftovers would not fit in my mini fridge at the hotel so I ended up eating it all later that evening. FatAdam style!!! No regerts either! '25 - 84/111

Cheese pizza and garlic knot

Easy to order online for pickup. I love that there's a separate area for pickup. The area is tiny, but they are efficient. The garlic knots are over the top garlicky and so so good! And we loved the pizza. We ordered one with pepperoni, the other cheese. The crust is thin, the sauce has a good balance of flavor, and the cheese is amazing. The pepperoni has just the right amount of flavor. Highly recommend giving this place a try!

First time visiting this Five Points location and I'm in LOVE! We walked in an hour before closing and we were seated right away. The staff were attentive and friendly. I love the vibe of this location. It's clean, comfortable, and inviting. We order a plain cheese pie and a house salad with vegan pepperoni. It was sublime! I just love their salads and their pizzas are some of the best in Nashville. We'll definitely be back to this location. 10/10 would recommend.

This review is for a catering order. I placed an order for a dozen pizzas for an event. Everything was fantastic- from the minute I placed the order to the moment it was delivered- excellent customer service. The pizza was so good! Everyone enjoyed the food and went back for seconds. The slice of Supreme I had was amazing. Five stars!

Wow, ok I have been to NY and the flavors on the garlic knots and Pizza was amazing delicious. Service hands done on point they take care of you and are all helping. Table was clean and such a chill pizza vibe place here.

Delicious New York style pizza. We ordered this one night and I'm so glad we got it. Easy online ordering process and it let us know what time to plan on picking it up. Easy peasy. We got cheese pizza with 2 sides of blue cheese everything was delicious. Always so nice that the pizza was still hot by the time we got home and it came as perfectly thin slices.

10/10 food - Absolutely AMAZING! We ordered the half portion (4) garlic knots and a 14" old world pizza and split across two people which was the perfect portion. Everything tasted better than words could describe. The garlic knots were soft but had some crisp on the outside. They are a decent size and paired well with the marinara sauce. The pizza was thin and crispy and so fresh. 8.5/10 service - Aside from our waiter smelling so strongly of cigarettes, service was good! Our food came out pretty quickly. 4/10 parking - There is a paid lot across the street and street parking is pretty limited (even on a Thursday night). We ended up finding some around 10 minutes away.

Only one of us had been to Pelato's so this was a fun experience. The food was absolutely delicious. We all shared the Potato Croquettes, Meatballs, Escargot, Burnt Broccolini, Garlic Bread, Chicken Parm, Radiatori Vodka, Stuffed Mushrooms, and Stromboli. Everything was delicious and would order again. However, the star of the show for me was the Radiatori Vodka, Burnt Broccolini, and Garlic Bread. The Radiatori Vodka was a thick radiatori pasta made in house. The pasta held a lot of the delicious vodka sauce and had just the right amount of spice to it. Even if you aren't a fan of "spicy" you would still enjoy this dish. The Burnt Broccolini was amazing. When our coworker suggested Pelato's, this was the dish that she raved about and she was correct. I didn't realize broccoli could taste this good but they found a way with just the right amount of char and lemon. The Garlic Bread, although sounds basic and plain had a garlic/cheese sauce that was out of this world. One thing to know and the waiter informed us right away is that these are "small plates". The idea is you order several dishes for the table and share. Our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable and told us what dishes we should order two of so everyone at our table could try. The atmosphere was semi-casual. We went on a Wednesday evening and they were very busy. We had a reservation and I would highly suggest making a reservation before you go. All dishes are treated tapas style and were all delicious. For a high-end dining experience, I always expect an extra umff in their dishes. The stars were definitely the burnt broccolini and lemon and shrimp pasta, with the potato croquettes not far behind. Vodka pasta and chicken parmigiana left some to be desired. Chicken parm was a very thin piece of chicken, tasty but nothing over the top. While the vodka pasta was also tasty, just not something to go crazy over. Drinks were pricey but delicious, and service was great with a nice ambiance. Overall, great experience!

The restaurant is in a complex of several establishments. The dining room decor is modern with seating on two levels. When we arrived, we had to wait a few minutes to be seated as the restaurant was fairly busy on a Monday night, I assume due to the happy hour special that runs all night. We ordered the bruschetta appetizer to start and some drinks. The appetizer came out promptly and was nicely done, with plentiful helpings of burrata and cherry tomatoes layered with balsamic pearls. The pearls have the appearance of caviar so it was a pretty and flavorful twist. Unfortunately, that was the end of the positives. Our dinner entrees included the chicken parmesan and grilled salmon. Both were overcooked and the salmon in particular (I asked for it to be rare in the center) was so throughly cooked it had a very grainy texture. The sauce was bland and the pasta overly soft. Service was pretty one-note as well, not rude but not particularly attentive either. Dinner ran $120 with tip including two cocktails and one beer. Really disappointing.
