It's a fun place and I do love that it's locally owned instead of a chain like top golf. I had a lot of fun playing the different games available. They make it fun for everyone even if you're not good at golf. I can appreciate that. Food is just meh. Overpriced for what they're serving in my opinion but not the worst. Service is great though! Today was our first time at 5 O Fore. We mentioned it to the staff at check-in. Checking in was simple. We went to our bay, but we were confused about how to use the system. No one greeted us or was around to ask for help. I had to call the desk to inform the staff we needed help. The manager came to help us. When our server finally came, she didn't seem happy and wasn't attentive. Devin, however, made up for her lack of hospitality. The selection of food was more than expected and the burger for the kids was a good size. The nacho's were enough to share for 3 people. The atmosphere is great, it wasn't too hot on the 3rd floor like I had expected. We probably would have stayed longer than 2 hours and ordered more food and drinks if we had better service. Five O Fore is such a great addition to the New Orleans area! I'm not a golfer at all but I enjoyed myself so much playing (and losing) with my family. This place definitely has entertainment down for the tweens and Baby Boomers in our group alike. Huge multi screen TVs, bars on each floor, spacious bays and the food options were plenty. Eric and Mr. Kenny were our servers and they were very attentive to our 15 person group. Both food and drinks were brought out timely and everyone enjoyed the chicken, fries, and dips. The mock mojitos were very refreshing as well. I would recommend Five O Fore indoor golf to anyone looking to have a good time with family and friends. Disappointing experience to say the least. A few of the drinks on the menu were unavailable due to lack of ingredients and the bartender was not very knowledgeable about their offerings. The building is spacious and there's plenty of parking in their designated lot. The interior was beautifully designed and I really like the size of the screens. I'm glad we have this option in New Orleans to have something fun to do as group/double date. Inside is set up nicely with all the TVs for watching sports. It was my BFs first time here and with their game time drink specials, he thought it might we worth hitting up just to watch sports. Even without drink specials, I thought their drink prices and options were decent. Food is a bit overpriced for bar food, but it's not bad, or at least the things we had were decent (cheese pizza, garlic bread, chicken nachos). Only slightly annoying thing was the entertainment district tax and a non-cash fee added on to the top of our bill. I'd say service is mid. What a fun place! We came here for a corporate event, and they rented out bays for us to play in. The food was amazing!! Unfortunately I didn't get many pictures but the boudin balls were my favorite! Raymond was so nice and accommodating to my group! He helped us out the whole night making sure we had enough food, drinks, or if we needed any help with the game. They had music playing, and the inside was nice as well. Everyone was very up front about the issues they were having as far as the food items. They haven't fully figured out the menu so a few items we wanted weren't available. We opted for the seafood platter along with chips and queso. Each were just ok. We doubled the seafood platter since there were 4 of us and you can see below how much we got. The drinks at the bar down were good though! Now playing golf was a good time! The playlist was vibey and the view was great! An hour isn't long enough so I'd suggest booking two hours if it's more than two ppl. I'll be back to give an update in a few weeks once I visit again. read more

While the overall experience was fun, unfortunately we had a negative interaction with one of the staff. I didn't think it could get any worse than the actor Rob Schneider (Deuce Bigelow, The Animal, The Hot Chick), but the golf pro Rob Schneider might be worse. He continuously ignored us while we patiently waited to check in (~30 minutes) and would not look at us when he spoke to us. I attended a group outing event here on a Saturday evening. For group events, there is a suite right behind the booths where we were playing. This week includes a large spring TV some chairs, small refrigerator with canned drinks and a spread of food. This seems like an ideal group event set up! We also had one waitress who serviced us the entire night, and she was excellent! We were able to order food and drinks that were not included in our package with the waiter, and then came out in a timely fashion even though it was a busy night. Also, golfing was a lot more fun than I expected it to be! I struggled with it, however there were fun games associated with it. There is an option to see who could hit the ball the furthest or who could hit the ball closest to a flag. I would definitely organize a group event here. read more

Such a fun Mother's Day! It's pretty expensive for an hour but for just 2 people we had plenty of shots. If I was with a larger group I'd recommend adding another hour or so. We got there about an hour before our reserved time so we had a couple beers at the downstairs bar and also went outside where there was live entertainment. The band was fun! Beers are pretty expensive and they were out of some but I'm giving them a pass because they are new. While playing we split nachos which were not great but about what I expected for a golf place. Service took forever and forgot drinks several times. We ordered a bucket and they brought the beer out without a bucket and just set them on the table. The prices are basically stadium prices at $8 for a bud light and $10 for a draft miller lite. All the bay readings were super inaccurate and delayed. As of writing this I have been a total of three times and each came with its own set of quirks and challenges. The first visit was during opening weekend and I booked a two hour bay for four people, which required a deposit. Initially I had assumed that was just to ensure they would make money incase of no shows and that the deposit would be applied to the final booking. Turns out this is just a separate fee. After checking in at the front, we walked to our bay where our server greeted us, gave us menus, went over the rules, and then disappeared. Over the course of our reservation we saw our server about 5 times and each time we had to flag her down or tell another server to get her for us. Not exactly great service. The second and third visits faired a lot better than the first. These times we walked in instead of reserving. The wait time was roughly 20mins each time but the downstairs bar was open so we didn't mind waiting on a bay. Service was faster and a whole lot friendlier. They still don't have a dedicated drink/bar menu, so only basic mixed drinks and beer. Food overall is basic, bland, and very unexciting. You're better off eating before hand. All in all, Five-O-Fore is an underwhelming Topgolf dupe that would benefit tremendously from a better food and drink menu. read more

Decided to try this place out for my bday. Made reservations online (which is $20 to do) and booked our bay for 11/2 hours for 4 people. I wasn't thrilled that you had to pay for everything when you made the reservation online (rather than pay the remainder once you get there) but I had to. Arrived at the place and there was a sign saying they weren't taking walk ins (so I'd try to call before just driving there if you don't have reservations). We were told to go to the second floor and given a bay number. Once we arrived it was nice and we were seated in the area with the outdoor couches. Before we could get settled in we were told they accidentally booked us in a spot that was for someone else so we needed to move to the 3rd floor . I didn't argue just went to the 3rd floor to the new bay. Once there the new bay had high chairs/table (not the comfy couch we originally had) and the fake turf that you golf on was messed up. I asked the waitress if she could get someone to fix it but no one ever came. No one showed us how to work the screen or how to get the ball out the machine (I knew how because I've been to top golf, but it seems like they would give a brief tutorial on how it works if you've never done it before). During our time golfing, a lot of the balls were not registering. My friends were hitting the ball but it wouldn't show on the screen so they were missing out on points. There was even a time where our screen shut down saying our time was up, during one game and we had to have a guy come back over and fix it. I told him about the messed up turf as well and he said he'd get someone to come over, but no one did. My friends said the wings and fries were fine, but our waitress just wasn't attentive. They did give us a complimentary mimosa pitcher(since they moved us), but it was just a lot going on. I know they haven't been opened long but there's a good bit for them to improve on. I spoke with the manager( I believe his name is Alex) and told him about everything that went wrong. He says they check the turf every morning for patchy spots and that someone should have fixed it when I mentioned it. I told him they should check each bay after people leave before the next group comes. He appreciated that I came to him and gave him the feedback. He also apologized that I had to go through that and he did give me a gift card to come back. I may give it a month or two before I go back so they can have some time to improve. read more

Don't waste your time or money at Five O Four Golf. They are not organized, not professional, and they lie about everything. We booked three bays for my son's 15th birthday so the kids could golf while the parents watched. Instead, we were told only one parent could stay with the kids, and everyone else had to either wait in the lobby or outside. What sense does that make when we paid for the space? The managers were rude, dismissive, and instead of trying to fix the situation, they called the police on us and kicked us out in the middle of a birthday celebration for kids! Totally uncalled for and embarrassing. This place ruined a special day for no good reason. If you're thinking about hosting a party or even just coming with a group, don't bother. Go somewhere that respects its customers and knows how to run a business. read more
