    Breakfast sandwich on focaccia

Great little coffee shop and restaurant. Super chill. Breakfast sandwich on focaccia is awesome and the latte was perfect. Staff is amazing as well!

I loved Five Mile Eatery on my weekend trip to Lafayette, I went twice! There aren't a ton of healthy options in Lafayette so I appreciated the options here. The first time I came I got the breakfast plate which was filling and yummy. The second time I got the vegan caesar salad which was huge! Both were very good. I would definitely recommend checking it out!

This is an amazing hidden gem..well maybe not hidden, as the place was packed and rightfully so. This place is amazing!! Everything that I had was delicious..the yogurt bowl, the grits, the pastries..all awesome!! The spot is small but cozy. I'll definitely be visiting again.

Super healthy options in a comfy and vibrant space, Five Mile is all about supporting local farmers and offering organic foods. I enjoyed a poppy seed muffin and a hot matcha latte. They both were light, organic and not too sweet.

The food is egregiously overpriced and disappointingly bland, especially if you need allergy modifications. Also, I have been fed dairy there many times despite alerting them of my allergy, which probably half of those times were from cross contamination. But the menu does not properly mark out allergies warnings in the food so be careful especially if you have severe reactions! The service there sucked and is remarkably slow!!! Be careful if you go cause you can tell the owners HATE interacting with customers. It's so sad this place used to have such a charm but they've changed it up to this sad stale corporate theme to match the uninspired food and overpriced drinks. That's another thing, if you want a coffee prepare to pay $10 for the most mediocre latte with one shot in it.

Caprese toast. It's on their house-made gluten-free focaccia and it was amazing.

The tomatoes are amazing. Had the Caprese toast. Service was friendly and solid. Food was all perfect. It really makes a difference when the owners take time to source quality ingredients. They have put a lot of thought and intention into everything here and it shows. The ambiance is definitely a good, love-everyone vibe.

Quaint, clean, friendly & DELICIOUS! There are many vegan options to choose from so I can't wait to return with my vegan son & his girlfriend! I'm not vegan so I had the burger salad and it was so good! The burger appeared to be homemade & cooked perfectly...not dry and juicy! The ingredients were distinct and not just thrown all together like other farm to table restaurants I've had before! Priced right! The unsweetened tea was so good I wanted a jug to take home! I enjoyed looking at all the items for sale. YES, I recommend this place!

Relaxing vibes all the way around. LOVED the FM Waffle, the Vanilla Bean Whipped Cream with the waffles was everything!! IN LOVE with the Bayou Banh Mi, the French baguette was buttery and delicious, the pork was slow cooked to perfection. We loved everything!! And our lattes were perfect.

10/10! I got the breakfast sandwich to go, I subbed the ham for bacon. So so good! Very fresh clean ingredients.

I had the burger salad with cheddar cheese and let me tell ya.. this salad was ownnnn... like a pot of neck bones. Deeeeelicious! The dressing was fabulous. Whole grain mustard cuts the richness of the burger patty and the pickles were wonderful. Spring mix salad with sliced cherry tomatoes. Nice serving size as well. All ingredients were fresh. A co-worker ordered the seedy toast and sourdough with honey butter. It looked wonderful, but wasn't on my low carb diet so I had to pass. Try the lemonade! I highly recommend this eatery.

My friend and I both loved the grits, as it was hot, buttery, and laced with pieces of corn kernels. We also really enjoyed the fluffy biscuits, warm beignets, and sticky cinnamon rolls. Usually cinnamon rolls tend to be too dry but the one at Parish was super moist and smothered in that ooey gooey cream cheese icing. I also appreciate the option to customize and swipe out sausage meats and veggies. Case in point, I was able to get the eggs benedict with turkey sausage instead of ham. Even though there is a bit of a line at the door, the meals come out fast and hot once your order does get placed. The drinks were pretty standard but my friend really enjoyed his espresso martini and my Paloma mimosa was sweet and packed with flavor. All in all, I really enjoyed every dish and I can't wait to come back and try more things!

Once we finally found it, we were very happy both because - yay we found it - and it smelled so yummy inside. I love a breakfast place with a full bar too. Drinks before 10am, yes, please! So, we get in line to order our yummer biscuits. I like places that have counter type service where you pay for your food and sit. It can make it easier when you have a big group or in a hurry. I ordered the fried chicken hot honey biscuit, the Cameron! ahh hot honey! I would have ordered the crawfish one, because I so those coming out of the kitchen, and holy hell! It just wasn't crawfish season when I went, so noseys to ordering crawfish out of season. I also ordered alcohol, because why not. I got the most amazing Irish coffee! It the predecessor before all these martini espresso followers. I took a very messy and sticky bite of my hot honey chicken biscuit - which was huge by the way - and I was in bliss! I really liked everything about this place. And it was all so clean and the staff were friendly too. I will be back next time I am in town to try more of those biscuits and maybe another Irish coffee? :-)

The interior of this location was very nice and welcoming. There was a good mix of seating options that seemed accommodating for both larger groups and smaller parties. The music selection was also enjoyable and added positively to the overall atmosphere. I ordered the shrimp and andouille omelette. I will say the presentation was very stark and uninteresting. Just based on how it looked, I would not have expected much from the dish. While I cannot quite pinpoint how it could be improved visually, it simply came across as boring on the plate. That said, the omelette itself was better than expected once I started eating. The bites that included both shrimp and andouille sausage were the strongest and most flavorful parts of the dish. Overall, if I were judging strictly on appearance, my expectations would have been low. Taste wise, I would give the meal about a 6 out of 10. I did notice several other dishes coming out to nearby tables that looked more appealing, so while this order did not fully impress me, I would not rule out returning. Next time, I would likely try something different from the menu.

There's no host stand or clear seating system, so the entrance felt chaotic. We weren't sure what to do until a nice local told us to just grab a table. After sitting down, it took about 5 mins for a waitress to stop by with the menus. The menu includes both breakfast and lunch items, but the ordering process is confusing. We were told breakfast orders would be taken at the table and lunch needs to be ordered separately at the cafeteria style counter. My husband went to the counter to order lunch while I stayed behind, waiting for the server to return with drinks and take our breakfast order, she never did. The smothered pork dish looked worse than school cafeteria, and unfortunately tasted like it too. It was overly salty and the pork had a weird taste to it. Since we had already paid for the lunch item upfront and still hadn't been able to place breakfast order, we decided to cut our losses and went to another restaurant. Overall, wasted 35 mins and left frustrated and disappointed, definitely won't come back!

The main issue here is the overall service experience and the food quality. The interior is old school but immediately chaos; there is a Luby's style ready serve food line and tables as well for dine in. We didn't know but apparently you just find a table and sit down, we were standing around waiting to be seated for a bit. Apparently you order lunch plates at this hot food line and then order breakfast via your server at the table. This makes no sense. We waited 35 minutes for staff to take our breakfast order and beverages unsuccessfully, so I went up and ordered a lunch plate of smothered pork and just paid up front. The guy working the ready made food line was also pretty rude and didn't want to be there; great! It was definitely below Treebeard's level and was very salty and not very flavorful. The sauce that they poured on the rice was extremely salty as well. Meh food quality and the absolute chaos of the brunch dining experience made the brunch meal very unenjoyable for our group. We left afterwards and went to another restaurant to eat.
