I make it to Youngsville once a year for the Sugarman Triathlon, and Huya is the Saturday packet pick up spot. This year, I rolled into town a couple of hours before my hotel check in, so after grabbing my gear for the race, I decided a light lunch was in order. While I really wanted to indulge in the sweeter items because they all looked so good, I decided to stick to a more balanced dish. I ordered the Arnold Palmer (which ignited a discussion between the staff of which goes in first, the lemonade or the tea), and a California wrap. The drink was a perfect blend, and the wrap was the perfect size, a good ratio of chicken, avocado, and toppings, with a dipping sauce and small side of plain chips. It was quite a nice dish. Staff was really friendly, the site was very clean and brightly lit, very welcoming. No fault to the business, more the building management, the ventilation could have been better. Any time you have a small business with a grill, it's a little difficult to keep the smoke smell down, and I definitely did smell a bit like a grill when I left. I love this coffee shop! It's my go to every single time ! Out of all the coffee shops back home this one feels the most like home ! I either order the chai latte or blueberry lavender latte which is always pretty good! I always grab a pastry as well the boudin pop tart is my favorite. On Friday I ordered a refresher,lavender matcha, and boudin poptart! The refresher was amazing but the matcha latte tastes just milk ! No matcha flavor or lavender at all so I wouldn't order that again or maybe it's the person who's making it it wasn't the owner it was someone new read more

Second time here. Not a coffee connoisseur but I know what I like and I like the iced coffee. Food, I have tasted and enjoyed: a savory toast (pesto prosciutto), boudin pop tart, blue berry muffin, Saturday's breakfast quesadilla. Basically, anything I've tried has been good. I have never sat outside, but inside is bustling for employees, but easy to enjoy a quiet conversation with your friends and family. Employees are friendly and busy. Let me start by saying I don't drink coffee, but I still love this place! Met someone here for a meeting per their recommendation and it was a great choice. I saw they had lemonade on the menu so I ordered that, then they told me I could also get it frozen AND could add more flavors. A frozen strawberry lemonade on a hot Louisiana day? Yes, please! And don't even get me started on how good the banana nut-tella toast was... a little messy to eat with the honey but worth every sticky bite. Oh my!!! I was leery about a Boudin pop tart but this is divine! A boudin pop tart topped with pepper jelly from Nani's (sp) which is local and bacon bits. Wow!! You have to try this! I'm drinking a cold oat vanilla latte with cane syrup which is local as well. What a great pairing. You have to stop by here when you are in Youngsville Louisiana. My wife wanted a bit of my pop tart but urged her to get her own and she was glad she did! read more
