My fiance and I got the New Orleans which was spiced well, it was a little too spicy at first but as it melted it was perfect. We sat at the big bar in the front and people watched for a while. You will not be tired after this drink, trust. Normally I'm a drive thru type of gal but I went in this morning for some gifts and toe-tapping New Orleans music was playing. There was ample seating and a cozy atomosphere. I had to get to work, so I couldn't linger but I really wanted to. Community Coffee began was founded here in Louisiana (Baton Rouge) and is far better than Starbucks in every way.

I hate watery…read morelattes and I hate that artificial sweetener flavor or when all you taste is the syrup...what I do love is a creamy latte where you can taste the espresso, but also the right amount of sweetness. I haven't found many standout places. Until today! I'm visiting Lafayette and after a quick search, found Reve. I ordered a medium caramel and vanilla iced latte and added cold foam. I don't know any details of how anything was made, but it was so perfect. I'm a chronic never finisher of coffee, but I had to slow myself down to keep from finishing it within a couple minutes. The cold foam wasn't sweetened, which worried me, but after swirling it all together, it was just the perfect latte. The syrups didn't have any of the ickyness you sometimes find (maybe they're house made? I didn't ask) and the cold foam made for the most perfect consistency. I'm no coffee purist, but if you like a yummy drink that I don't think was over the top sweet, this was an amazing order! Great new coffee shop in Breaux Bridge!…read more Pont Breaux is located in the quaint downtown area surrounded by neat little shops and lots of history. I am not sure what this shop was before, but what it is now is cute and makes a damn fine cup of coffee. The coffee. I am a cold brew fanatic. It allows me to accomplish things and is a necessity. I drink it every day. The cold brew here is real cold brew meaning it is not overly bitter and drinks easily. None of that hot brewed coffee later chilled and called cold brew. The real deal! Get some and it will change your life. The food The menu options are limited to warmed and baked items. That is what one would expect in a coffee shop and that is what you get. I have only eaten here once and can tell you their ham and swiss croissant is excellent. The ambiance Pont Breaux shines in this area as well. The shop is warm and inviting without being too fancy or standoffish like some high brow shops tend to be. There is ample seating including several couch and oversized chair spots for gathering. I could see this a splace to study or work if you are so inclined. There is also a table in the window which was a neat little addition. If you are in Breaux Bridge and want coffee, get over here ASAP!

Stopped in on a long road trip from Houston…read more Stand alone business right off the main road and less than a mile from the interstate. Very clean bathrooms and a nice menu of coffee options. Several tables and chairs and in the corner was a small leather couch and a couple of leather chairs. They have a drive through but I always like to go in. My cafe mocha was great and exactly what I needed to get back on the road. Not that I make this drive often, but when I do, I will be back.

We got some cocktails and they were the delicious. As this place is also a cafe, the espresso martini was perfect! I love the aesthetic of the outside and inside. It's always so cozy and nice.
