They will even grab you a fresh baked one out the back upon request. I stumbled on this hidden gem one day after a my last craving for a waffle cone was unfulfilled at a franchise frozen yogurt spot. I won't name any names, but I hadn't been to the unnamed commercial spot in over 20 years. Needless to say, I was very disappointed. The waffle cone was stale and had a tinge of plastic taste. I literally thought I'd been poisoned. After looking up ice cream spots with good reviews, my daughter and I found Emmy's. It was not a disappointment at all. The ice cream flavors were limited but very premium. Although they don't make their own ice cream in-house, they get it from the best place I can think of ordering ice cream from - Wisconsin. They have a ton of really premium toppings for a great price too. Most are just $.50, with some of the nut toppings costing a dollar. My daughter tried their orange sorbet with gummy bears and the swear, they were the best gummy bears I've ever tried. I went straight for my go-to, pistachio almond. When I tell you it's stood up to some of the best Italian creamery pistachio I've had in my home town of New Orleans, I'm not exaggerating. Creamy, rich ice cream with an abundance of pistachio. All I needed was one scoop. So amazing and flavorful. Being skeptical after my last botched experience getting a waffle cone at a major franchise dessert spot, I decided to get my ice cream in their signature waffle cone. Oh. My. Goodness. It's like a confection by itself. Delicately buttery, perfectly sweet and super crispy. I hear they even make waffle cone nachos?! Aside from having great dessert, the staff is friendly and they have a nice little sitting area, complete with a soda-shop type bar to sit. It's not a question of if I'll be back, but if I'll be able to pass it up when I'm in the vicinity. Delicious!

It's finally open, and we've been waiting to try as this is our first time with this concept…read more We used the drive thru which has a menu on the side with multiple combinations between the Italian ice,ice cream, and toppings which are all layered. The orange mango Tango is what is went with, the layerings were soft vanilla ice cream, then orange ice then mango ice, repeated throughout. All very good, however if you're simply looking for the flavored ice, skip the ice cream and the flavors will not be as pronounced. This is a good concept as you have the option to build your own flavors. Check the serving sizes a small is very small a few bites, and they have smaller than that. You can see the team is still training but they have the smiles and greetings doing great

10/10 recommend!…read more Jeremiah's was clean, the staff was super friendly, and everything felt very affordable. We all ordered smalls, and honestly--it was the perfect size. I love the concept: you pick your Italian ice flavor, then add soft serve, then toppings. The combinations are endless, and somehow the Italian ice + soft serve combo just works. Definitely a spot we'll be back to!

As an ice cream connoisseur, I can vouch for the fact that Andy's Frozen Custard is AWESOME! There's drive thru and walk-up (no lobby) service at Andy's and it's fast and friendly. Andy's custard is the perfect choice for dessert any day!

My friend and I tasted a little bit of everything but we really enjoyed the cinnamon roll churros, the grilled cheese brisket sandwich and the chilaquiles breakfast plate. I do wish that there was a little more meat on the chilaquiles plate but the tortilla chips were perfectly fried and crispy even underneath all that salsa verde. As far as portion sizes go, the plates were huge and the churros were warm and crispy with the perfect amount of cinnamon and sugar. With that in mind, I would return solely for the classic combination of just the churros and white chocolate (although there are dozens of other add-ons to be had--like pistachio crème or cream cheese). If you are a sweet tooth, you are certainly in for a treat at the Churro Boutique. Side Note: this review is in reference to the Youngsville location and not the one located in the Lafayette mall
