Decided to give this a try, on the way down Lima Road toward the hardware store. It was a nice change from Starbucks for a very big reason--price! A large coffee, medium iced coffee and a scone all for under $11. Easy in and out, quick counter service. Lots of bagged coffee for sale, along with merch. Clean store and so friendly. You can get your favorite pet a pup cup. I saw a cute customer give two paws up. Coffee tasted great and was strong! Thank goodness. It's just what I ndeed. read more

Was so hoping this coffee would taste good. I felt that it had a sourish taste to it. It was not very pleasing to taste. I got the iced coffee with cream. I was just traveling through the area and saw this coffee shop. I always like to try love. So I'm glad I did stop but definitely would not get the iced coffee again. Let me first say I was shocked this coffee spot was still open at almost 8pm! I was happy though because I really wanted a smoothie and this was the closest spot. I love to support smaller businesses over the big companies, so here we are. Their menu was so cute and everything looked good. I was tempted to get the blueberry pomegranate smoothie but my love for peach overpowered. This was a seasonal item so I decided to try. The associate was really nice and signed me up for their rewards program. The peach smoothie was not too sweet, very "smooth" and got the job done. I've been to places where the ice isn't fully blended in, so I was happy. I will definitely be back to try some of their other items! Fun busy corner coffee and treat spot, plenty of parking, some fun restaurants right next door that looked popular with lots of traffic bustling in and out as I tried to find a way into the Five Lakes parking lot, I ended up parking right next door tempting myself to get some Mexican too. The atmosphere is bright and casual. Displays present all sorts of familiar sugar options. Menu gives very basic predictable Starbucks and Dunkin style drinks. I felt basic and did a caramel vanilla latte. Staff was friendly and quickly brought out the Java. Good votes for clean bathrooms here too, outlets right at the tables, and possibly some of the best music playlists any study and work vibes could order. Have to note those excellent items before throwing down on the espresso, it tasted absolutely diabetic. So sweet my teeth about hurt, I cannot fathom any decent caffeine connoisseur wanting to finish a latte like this. Sure the vanilla and caramel combo speaks of a sweeter pallet but I've had plenty to know the espresso will still shine through and balance out syrup with bitter. Nothing of a sort here, I had to save half for the next day. Not even sure there was real espresso in my latte, didn't taste coffee at all, I suppose this place is for those who do not like coffee but want to pretend they do. read more

The girls are all very nice, the only thing I have a problem with is they need to get more flavors that are sugar free for people that have to drink sugar free drinks. They have a few but need more to choose from and not just for the holidays. Other then that best place to get your favorite drink hot raspberry mocha sugar free, husband also has to have sugar free but won,t be able to get it any more! read more

Nice little coffee shop. The facility is remodeled, clean and nicely decorated & welcoming. The staff is very friendly. Coffee is as you would expect. Prices are in line with other places...maybe slightly less expensive. The cinnamon roll was very tasty. Five Lakes still has their lobby open for dine in. Went in today for the first time at this location in Columbia City. Upon entering I found the seating to be quite full, a good thing...... Still plenty of seating though. Told the young lady at the counter it was my first time in. She was training. The young man helping train her was a delight. Lovely smile, like he knew me personally. I ordered the bacon, egg and cheese bagel (with extra bacon) and a vanilla latte to go. My order came quickly and my Latte was PERFECT! Usually I have to add all sorts to make it taste the way I like it, but it was perfect as is!! My bagel was absolutely delish! Usually, I hesitate on the bagels, at places that offer breakfast items, because the bagels are dry as a bone and hard to eat, but this was SO soft!!! It is offered with two kinds of sauce; parmesan/garlic (or something like that) and chipotle. I'd had the garlic in the past on the side and it was good, but I got it this time without any. Was even better!! It was SO much better than Starbucks...and without the bitter taste that often accompanies their coffees. Why had I waited so long to go in there?? Bringing back my husband.....who loves coffee and breakfast bagels even more than I do. :D read more

Went here because we got a coupon in the mail. Went through the drive thru. Staff was friendly and patient and the menu board was easy to read. Once ordered we drove up to the window and paid. The small smoothie tasted much like a strawberry shake from McDonald's, my daughter said it was ok but wouldn't order it again and at $5 I'm glad she'll pass. I ordered a decaf americano XL and it was $4. Very strong and a tad bitter. But it was decent. I've personally had better. It was also served Luke warm and I like my coffee very hot. Easy parking lot to get in and out of and from the drive thru window the store looked clean behind the counter. Brand new design inside and clean decor. They sell pastries as well and the menu is your basic coffee tea selling points along with smoothies and some breakfast items. Staff wore masks but did not wear gloves and they all seemed very nice and well trained. They were knowledgeable about their coffees too. I'd prob go back for a drip coffee. I like the fact that at anytime during the day I can order decaf. Which is very nice. Def a must try. It's a chain but Fort Wayne workers are employed there. read more

Cute place. Clean. Has the same variety as larger chain coffee shops. They offer frozen, iced, or hot drinks with multiple milk options (plant based milk is an up-charge.) The medium drink seems like a small so order larger or you will be disappointed. My bill was higher for the same thing at Starbucks. They offer coffee for sale for ~$13.50. Well staffed but took longer than other places to get my coffee because the drive through was backed up. read more

Honestly, this place is better than Starbucks! Their espresso is not burnt and Starbucks burns their espresso ALL the time. They just are good at hiding it. However, when you know coffee you know good coffee. As a precious barista i rarely get a good latter that doesn't have burnt espresso covered up by 6-8 pumps of syrup. My new go-to coffee shop. My morning cups of coffee are almost a full $1 cheaper than Starbucks and taste waaay better. Super nice and friendly staff.
