Medium Peach Smoothie - A person is holding a peach smoothie in a clear plastic cup with a dome lid and a straw. The smoothie is yellow-orange in color and appears thick. The background shows a living room with a brown leather couch, pillows, and a carpeted floor. The setting suggests a casual indoor environment.

Let me first say I was shocked this coffee spot was still open at almost 8pm! I was happy though because I really wanted a smoothie and this was the closest spot. I love to support smaller businesses over the big companies, so here we are. Their menu was so cute and everything looked good. I was tempted to get the blueberry pomegranate smoothie but my love for peach overpowered. This was a seasonal item so I decided to try. The associate was really nice and signed me up for their rewards program. The peach smoothie was not too sweet, very "smooth" and got the job done. I've been to places where the ice isn't fully blended in, so I was happy. I will definitely be back to try some of their other items! What I got: -medium peach smoothie with whipped cream (~$6)

Fun busy corner coffee and treat spot, plenty of parking, some fun restaurants right next door that looked popular with lots of traffic bustling in and out as I tried to find a way into the Five Lakes parking lot, I ended up parking right next door tempting myself to get some Mexican too. The atmosphere is bright and casual. Displays present all sorts of familiar sugar options. Menu gives very basic predictable Starbucks and Dunkin style drinks. I felt basic and did a caramel vanilla latte. Staff was friendly and quickly brought out the Java. Good votes for clean bathrooms here too, outlets right at the tables, and possibly some of the best music playlists any study and work vibes could order. Have to note those excellent items before throwing down on the espresso, it tasted absolutely diabetic. So sweet my teeth about hurt, I cannot fathom any decent caffeine connoisseur wanting to finish a latte like this. Sure the vanilla and caramel combo speaks of a sweeter pallet but I've had plenty to know the espresso will still shine through and balance out syrup with bitter. Nothing of a sort here, I had to save half for the next day. Not even sure there was real espresso in my latte, didn't taste coffee at all, I suppose this place is for those who do not like coffee but want to pretend they do.

Enjoy a sunny cold morning. - A tall paper coffee cup from Lakes Coffee with a black plastic lid is positioned on a wooden table. Great place to meet and enjoy coffee with friends and family! Prices are decent and pastry selections were great.

Went here because we got a coupon in the mail. Went through the drive thru. Staff was friendly and patient and the menu board was easy to read. Once ordered we drove up to the window and paid. The small smoothie tasted much like a strawberry shake from McDonald's, my daughter said it was ok but wouldn't order it again and at $5 I'm glad she'll pass. I ordered a decaf americano XL and it was $4. Very strong and a tad bitter. But it was decent. I've personally had better. It was also served Luke warm and I like my coffee very hot. Easy parking lot to get in and out of and from the drive thru window the store looked clean behind the counter. Brand new design inside and clean decor. They sell pastries as well and the menu is your basic coffee tea selling points along with smoothies and some breakfast items. Staff wore masks but did not wear gloves and they all seemed very nice and well trained. They were knowledgeable about their coffees too. I'd prob go back for a drip coffee. I like the fact that at anytime during the day I can order decaf. Which is very nice. Def a must try. It's a chain but Fort Wayne workers are employed there.

A fun destination and one of the best coffee spots in Fort Wayne. Fun beverages, retail merch, and love the Keurig options for home.

Debrand's Auburn Road - when hosting guests in Fort Wayne....do what Summit City goers do...go to…read moreDebrand's! We recently hosted family from out of town. They HAD to experience Firt Wayne's best!! On Friday nights...Debrand's offers a chocolate cheese cake. It's not a traditional cheese cake. It's not dense nor cheesy. The cake offering was light and airy. It has a nice chocolate flavor without being heavy and over the top sweet. It really kinda melted in your mouth. A MUST try if you are there on a Friday night! Absolutely delicious!! The ice sundaes are still a crowd favorite. The ice cream is home made and smooth. The peanut butter option is very rich and sugary. The peanut taste is bold and creamy in texture. No nut chunks. The raspberry option is just like this. Bold berry taste with a rich concentration of sugar. I added the caramel sauce which blends the chocolate and peanut butter flavors nicely. The pecan bits give the sundae a nice crunch texture. The chocolate shell on the ice cream tends to be hard and difficult to cut. I recommend that two people split a sundae as it is decent amount of dessert and it is really rich. The Debrand team is always very friendly and service oriented. On this occasion they brought our party some sample chocolate pieces while we waited for the order. This gave our out of town guests to sample the candy they Debrand us also renowned for. I taste tested a dark chocolate-strawberry filled candy piece. The dark chocolate is very bold in flavor. The strawberry filling had a distinctly strawberry flavor. Very tasty creation!

Kilwins Ice Cream - Chocolate - Fudge

If you like samples, Kilwins is the place to visit. I was offered samples of ice cream and fudge,…read morebut I passed on the fudge because it's one of the sweets I do not like. (Grainy, greasy chocolate-like substance? Hard pass.) Chocolate I do like: Peanut butter cups! But they need to be made with real chocolate (sorry, Reese's) and they need to be big, so that there's an almost equal proportion of peanut butter to chocolate. Milk chocolate peanut butter cups are great, but dark chocolate ones are even better. I got a huge dark chocolate peanut butter cup to take back with me to my hotel, which happened to be around the corner. It was so silky and smooth and just what I wanted. Kilwins is the place to find all kinds of chocolate treats, plus things like popcorn and peanut brittle, gourmet marshmallows, food gifts and lots more sweets. They also have a full ice cream parlor in the shop, where you can get ice cream by the scoop or made into a sundae or milkshake. This place has outdoor seating, so you can sit on the patio and enjoy your ice cream or chocolate while watching the people of Fort Wayne go by.

The employees were super friendly as soon as we walked in and offered samples of the different ice cream. I settled on the three rivers ice cream, which was clearly one of the best ice cream flavors I've ever had. There was a perfect blend of cream and sugar in the ice cream. The waffle cones are also embossed with the company name and are made fresh. The waffle cone itself was also probably the best in the Fort Wayne area. It had the perfect taste And texture to the cone. The only reason why I could not give it five stars is it is quite pricey, but what isn't in this economy. If you're ever in this area and want dessert, this would be a place to try.
