We finally made it in to try their cookies. I let the ladies working know we were first timers and they were very friendly and informed of top sellers and their recommendations. My family purchased a dozen and was impressed. Tasty cookies and the frosting was not too sweet, which is a common issue elsewhere. I agree the sugar cookie with frosting is top notch, I also enjoyed the banana nut bread cookie. Kids favorites were oatmeal raisin and snickerdoodle. We will return again! read more

It's a wonderful treat and never disappoints. The nutty cookies are wonderful and full of flavor, the Chocolate Chip Pecan, White Macadamia Chocolate, and the Butter pecan are favorites. I can't believe I have never done a review on Cookie Cottage. I've been in all three of their locations over the years and gotten to know the owners. The sisters are fantastic people and make the BEST cookies you will ever have! Cookie Cottage is a Fort Wayne icon. You can always give their cookies as a gift for something that represents FW. We often buy a box to give as a gift or take to family events - they are ALWAYS a hit!! They make great gifts to drop off at clients or birthday/mother-father day presents. As for the cookies! You can NOT go wrong! Their basic cookie is a plain iced cookie. The bread part is moist but won't fall apart when breaking off pieces or taking a bit. The frosting just MELTS in you mouth - ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! I am partial to the oatmeal raisin and mint chocolate chip! Go visit the store. Mix and match a bakers dozen. Brought some out of state family here to try these amazing cookies. For $1.60 a cookie it's an awesome deal. They're fresh made moist and always delish. You can also count on them to have the same flavors every time you go. They now offer gluten free cookies and edible cookie dough. We always get the iced sugar cookie which has a hint of anise in it. And I always get the mint chocolate chip, peanut butter and chocolate chip. Other favs are white chocolate macadamia. My guests bought three each and they instantly fell in love and said we should have bought a dozen!! There is always coupons in mail fliers for buy 1 dozen get three free. For $17 that's $1.20 a cookie. Great deal. We freeze them and eat a nibble at a time. I could easily eat three at a time but I refrain for sure. Must stop place in for Wayne. Owned locally by women and every staff member is helpful, patient and will help you pick out your cookies if you're undecided. Keep in mind this place can get very busy. This was a surprise stop for us to pick up cookies for my husband's brother. He wanted some thank you cookies for his medical team. The service was friendly and efficient. Also there was a line ahead of us since we had not called to order ahead. When we saw and tasted these cookies we could understand why. They are huge, chewy, delicious and so fresh you would swear they just came out of the oven. They have a wide variety of flavors but I think my favorite is the frosted sugar cookies. The Pufferbelly Trial leads straight to the Cookie Cottage so while biking, my sister and I decided to stop by. There's a bike rack right right next to the store and they have outdoor, shaded seating. We came around 2pm, so there was a very short wait. We got helped right away, and we chose a iced sugar cookie and macadamia white chocolate cookie. Each cookie was $1.50, which I thought was a reasonable price. We sat outside on the round tables and ate our treats. The iced sugar is a classic and you can't go wrong with this one. However, even though I'm a big sweet tooth, it became too sweet the second half of the cookie. I probably would have saved the second half for later, but because we biked, I didn't want it to melt so I powered through to finish. The iced part was delicious and soft though. read more

There new location, off Coldwater Rd, offered easy access in and out of the spacious parking lot. I'm glad the tight narrow spaces of their previous location, are a thing of the past. Aesthetically, the new location is very pleasing. It's clean, orderly, and fresh looking. The cookies are top drawer, just top drawer(peep the Auntie Mame reference - I love movies!). They are moist and delicious. They don't crumble or break apart, just a totally good cookie.
