I usually don't eat have a big sweet tooth, but today was the day when I was in the mood. Parking is a little inconvenient. The shop is small. When I walked in, I was immediately asked what I wanted to buy. It was my first time in there and I felted very rushed. The price of the donuts are reasonable. Also, the were actually good. Parking is easy and it's an easy place to find. For me service was good with no issues. Donuts were good but not the best and not bad at all just ok...they do take debit cards and credit cards with a 5 dollar minimum. read more

My husband grew up with Tom's Donuts at Lake Jimmerson. The store in Fort Wayne is small, and the people running it are not friendly, at best. The last time we were there was pre-COVID. This time it seemed like they were running on bare bones. Not much selection, and what we did get seemed like a day or two old. Dry, tasteless. Was very disappointed. read more

Donuts are my spirit animal! Tom's Donuts are a staple to Fort Wayne. I have been eating them since I was little. The Tom's on the corner of Wells and State is my favorite one to grab a pick me up in the morning. Every morning, afternoon, and night is better when donuts are involved (at least that is my motto). My favorite is the chocolate iced, cream-filled. Delicious. Donuts are fresh all day. Wide selection. Another favorite is the nut topped cinnamon roll donuts- been a favorite since I was little. Prices are extremely reasonable. Who doesn't love a donut and milk for a couple bucks? Although I have never ate my donuts inside and always get carry-out, there seems to be a regular crowd of an older generation hanging out at the donut shop. I love the vibe. Hopefully one day soon I will not be in pajamas and can enjoy my donuts from the shop. My boyfriend has had heart-shaped donuts made for me for Valentine's Day and my birthday. Tom's donuts is the old, little building on the corner. The dependable staple that has been there since you were little, and you now take your grandchildren to. Or at least that is the type of vibe I get here. I have no idea how long this building and its current proprietors have been here, heck I don't even live in the same state. What I do know is that I can appreciate the types of feelings and imaginations this place brings. The old guy stopping in every morning at 7:30 sharp, ready to take on the day with his donut, coffee and local paper. The family that picks up half a dozen donuts after Jr's baseball game. This place eventhough decorations are scarce, is homey and cute in its own way. The coffee is right in the middle, not super dark and bold, and not watery and weak either. Just the kind of coffee ripe for sipping while enjoying a fresh apple fritter or maple glazed donut. Of course they sell different types of donuts and sweets, but why change it up when we are perfectly happy with our once a month, early morning visit to Tom's! read more

My gf and I come here most weekends. This weekend we show up around noon and they have only 3 choices and say the others wont be done until 330/4. I've never seen this worker before so maybe that's why. Asians always had the shelves full. read more

The woman who was helping me made me feel like an idiot and she was not even trying to pretend to be happy or professional. Stopped in while running errands around Fort Wayne. Even mid afternoon they still had a decent selection left. Sadly, no filled donuts. But the cake donuts are really good. I think the blueberry are the best I've ever had! I will absolutely stop in again the next time I'm in town, hopefully earlier in the day so I can try a filled donut. read more

Put Tom's cream filled long john right into your mouth and become a believer! The best long John around these parts. You get a lot of cream out of this long John, oh yes sir you do! Put a cream filled long John straight back to your tonsils Son! and come on over to the other side and see what it's about! The chocolate covered cream filled long John is the best here, love all of that chocolate , you will just wanna lick it right off the long John. It's that good! Very fresh with lots of good flavor. You will love when you get to the cream filling, you'll wanna suck it right out it's so good. I love Toms, the round chocolate ones with a glaze over the top are my favorites to. I have heard a lot of good things about this place, so I decided to give it a try. I got three donuts for less than $2, so that's a huge plus. I bought a chocolate glazed, regular glazed, and an apple spice donut. The regular glazed donut was actually more shaped like a crescent roll then a circular donut, but it was delicious! The chocolate glazed was a solid donut, but the apple spice 1 was the most pleasant surprise of all three! I'd love to come back here again and try more. read more

I have been to the Tom's Donuts in Georgetown and really liked the experience and the donuts. Went to the Tom's on Well's and State, and it makes me not want to ever go to another "Tom's". Service was bad and was angrily told they were out of a type of donut I wanted right 30 minutes after open. Will not go there ever again. read more

From a dozen that was perfectly made and filled and including tax was $13.20 and now with tax is $23.98 (price hike June 1st) to not so good & hardly filled. I also noticed that the employees were also different and not so friendly anymore. Maybe it was too early in the morning. Time to fid another doughnut shop, maybe the gas station next to it.

The donuts: the icing was sweeter than my personal preference and the donut was thicker than I like. Its wasn't anything I feel I would need to have again. I'm glad to have tried them, but the hunt goes on for the best donut in town.

The homemade ice cream was perfect textured and delicious. The small 1/2 dollar size donuts are available in the ice cream creations or in the box.
