A small is a great lunch size, packed with loads of flavors and a good amount of toppings. It was ready in 4 minutes and the noodles were cooked very well, drenched in that gooey cheese sauce. The pulled pork was especially delicious. And I'll always fawn over anything with cilantro. Highly recommend, especially for the price of a small!

They have a good selection on a front and back laminated menu with various dishes from pizza to ribs, chicken and pork dishes. There are also vegan options such as Mac and cheese. For a barbecue place their prices are very reasonable with a daily special I noticed posted in the wall going into the bar part. My granddaughter used some app they are tied into where you can buy songs to play, that seemed popular with everyone. Our table was clean although I do t like being seated by the kitchen entrance when there were plenty of tables elsewhere to be seated. That's why the 4 star, I don't like the in and out of the staff and congregated talking by everyone by our table. I was concerned seeing an employee scratching at his nose in the hallway coming from the bar to the kitchen not stopping to wash his hands, maybe he did in the kitchen part. The food was good, ranges from sides, aka carte to different size platters with what looked like the entire menu on it! The food smells good, the wing sauce was abundant, dripping and delicious, the fish sandwich was very good. They also have take away which was doing a tremendous business while we were there. Located in a small strip mall there is a lot of parking, also handicapped, and easy access into the restaurant. The food and friendliness of the staff was a great experience.

My husband and I had the boss hog. It was excellent! Then I went to First Fridays in Columbia City and was pleasantly surprised to see them there! Since moving from Champaign, I did not have an opportunity to try any of the Jamaican restaurants yet in town. Since my discovery of Jerk Chicken a few years back, it is an amazing blend of spices and seasoning that is very hard to describe without trying. I was happy to learn that Jerk Chicken was on the menu. Service was prompt and very easy. Food did not take too long to prepare so I was on my way back home. The first thing I noticed is the portions are very generous which is good given the price. It comes with regular or sweet potato fries. In the past I have eaten at a place that always gave you rice and peas along with any of the traditional sides like plantain, mac/cheese albeit a lot smaller. The sweet potato fries were okay but easily get soggy from the condensation of the hot chicken. As I mention the chicken portions were ample which is good, but this is not traditional jerk chicken "at least not the ones I have tried in the Midwest as a disclaimer I have never tried real jerk chicken in Jamaica". I mean to say it was not really spicy or had that kick that I have been accustomed to. It was more on the sweeter side. All and all I give it a 3 star just because of my expectation of jerk chicken, but for people that don't like too spicy and a unique take on chicken it's a solid 4.
