The cinnamon caramel dust is beautiful. The young lady behind the counter called it Amish crack. I could easily eat a dozen myself. The chocolate peanut butter cream blew my socks off. It was like eating a "fluffernutter" in a chocolate frosted donut. Get it, you'll thank yourself. The others I tasted were delicious as well, the above two are the standouts.

The custard was very yummy and creamy. I do wish the Bavarian cream was a bit more dispersed throughout but it's still delicious. I also got a blueberry cake for later and I'm excited to warm that up and eat it. My friend got a cinnamon caramel donut, which is the OG. Their donuts are always fresh and soft. Their jams are good too if you like that. The staff were all very friendly. If you haven't been, GO! You will be addicted!! The boxes of donut holes are really good to just grab and go or for a party too.

Salted Caramel Pretzel Path Ice Cream: Edy's/Dreyer's was founded in 1928 when ice cream maker…read moreWilliam Dreyer partnered up with candy maker Joseph Edy. The company is credited with creating both Rocky Road (1929) and one of my favorites, Cookies 'N Cream (1982) ice cream flavors. West of the Rocky Mountains the products are labeled under the Dreyer name and east of the Rockies they are labeled as Edy's, simply to honor both founders. Introduced in 2021 was the Rocky Road Collection, which includes the Salted Caramel Pretzel Path (SCPP) flavor. Get it? "Path" instead of "Road". This ambitious flavor has a salted caramel base, fudge swirls, pockets of chocolatey covered toffee, and crunchy chocolatey covered salted pretzels. Overall, I really enjoyed this flavor, so let's get the bad out of the way. It tasted like caramel ice cream to me; I wasn't getting much salt. Not a big deal for me, but it might be for others. The fudge swirls were also too sparse. That being said, both the fudge swirls and caramel flavored ice cream tasted just fine. As for the mix-ins, the chocolatey covered toffee and crunchy chocolatey covered salted pretzels (actually salty) are the stars of the show. Both are relatively abundant and pack a ton of flavor to make up for some of the prior short-comings I mentioned. Doughboy approved!

It's okay to not go with society's norms. It's okay to bring down the patriarchy. With donuts. Because frankly, that's how I would do it too. After all, who can resist a delicious donut?
