What an amazing gem Van Wert has with this place. I'll be honest, there are several places with great food and this is one of them. I've tried their donuts which I bring to work and share with my team, and also their paninis. The one I like the most is the beef and cheese with chimichurry sauce...delicious! We stopped there this morning for breakfast per our youngest child's request. This is the 2nd time we've ever been. We went months ago and the same lady we dealt with today is who we dealt with then. Months ago she rushed our 8 year old through unnecessarily. Today she blatantly walked away from us in the middle of taking our order to assist the couple who came in behind us. She did not excuse herself. She didnt not say anything just walked away. I assume she is the owner. How very rude and unprofessional. read more

I love bakeries. Coming from Miami, I have been blessed with eating in some great ones. Cuban bakeries in particular are absolutely amazing. So, I have high standards. Even though this is the case, I can say Truly D'Vine is sublime! I have come here a few times since moving into town. I first came to Truly D'Vine because I wanted to have some hot food that was not fast food. I met I believe the owner and one of the employees who welcomed me into town. Super nice people. My family ordered some of their hot food and I was able to try their fried chicken and their meatloaf. The meatloaf tastes a bit too sweet for me, their fried chicken is crunchy and finger licking good. They also allowed me to have some potato chips they make themselves in house... loved them! They also serve breakfast, but I have not tried it and cannot give my opinion of it. I have also had some of their chocolate and doughnuts. I tried their chocolate due to the fact they took part in the Van Wert Chocolate walk. They were tasty... they had a few versions... I tried a few and they were delicious. I also on another occasion tried their doughnuts... of course had my fav... chocolate frosted... yum! The store also sells popcorn, spreads, jams, breads and other items. I definitely need to go back and buy their pizza bread. They get some bread and put cheese and pepperoni inside, for you to take home and bake in the oven! Yes! I need to get this as soon as my new oven is installed. Their drinks are limited to a small craft soda selection, coffees, milk and juice. I wish they had more selection when it comes to drinks than that. All in all, a great bakery! Happy to have found it! Do I miss the bakeries in Miami? Yes, for sure... I will miss ham croquettes and Cuban bread. Still life is about adapting and I at least found a great bakery that can satisfy my need for baked goods! read more

We've never visited the shop but have consumed there baked, fried, donuts, pastries many times and they are as good as you'll ever eat. Delicious! They have a cozy outside area to enjoy your food and drink. read more

Donuts are over-priced. I decided to give them a second chance and purchased a small round chocolate cake. The staff could not add any writing to the cake and it was the worst cake I have ever eaten. I can't believe I spent almost $20 for this! A cake from Wal-mart would have been far better. I will never go back. read more

I called Truly Divine to order some cupcakes for a sweet friend of mine. I spoke with a sweet young lady who helped me decide on what to get. She also requested they decorate them special for my friend. She did a great job and my friend loved the cupcakes. She said they were super delicious as well. Huge selection of donuts and interesting types as well. A glazed donut the size of your head, glazed croissants, huge long johns, etc. Limited seating but not usually a problem. I'd like to see less "Knick knacks" (not donut or bread related) and more selection of breads (non-glazed croissants, Kaiser rolls, French bread, etc). read more

The wife and I were staying in town for a couple of days and we had to try this place before we left town. Everything was great. My wife enjoyed the chocolate covered long john with the mocha filling and I enjoyed the same with regular chocolate filling. If we are ever back in town we will make it a point to stop back by again. read more

This is the new stop for breakfast, lunch, or dinner as we drive from Columbus to Notre Dame or Lake Michigan. Amazingly delicious breakfast sandwiches and divine donuts. We typically go here only for donuts and they have a great selection. They are always fresh and sometimes in the afternoon if they have had a slow day they will run a special before close to get a dozen discounted but still good the next morning. There is probably the best selection of specialty long Johns that I have seen in Ohio. They have different ones on different days. When they have it my husband loves the key lime o theirs he prefers the peanut butter filled one. We have also bought fresh bread from here and it was absolutely wonderful!!! During lent we tried the fried shrimp and crab cake specials. The shrimp was the best I've had in a while from a non ocean area. The crab cakes were good but I would forgo next time for more shrimp instead. We've been told they have the best fried chicken around but have yet to try it. read more

They proclaim themselves as being "The Best Fried Chicken In Town". Since I have tasted all the other fried chicken places in town I can't testify that this is true, however I will admit that it's pretty good. When you walk in the variety of baked goods is evident and to the side are prepared deli style food available to the side. The staff was friendly, helpful and patient, all you could ask for for a first time visitor. read more

We got a two tiered birthday cake from here and we were pleasantly surprised at the quality! All of the guest commented how delicious it was. I especially like the icing. We were very pleased to have a great bakery in here locally in town, especially since moving here from Columbus. The cake was as good as nearly any I have had. I have had lunch here several times. It is deli dinning at its finest. The chicken is very good as are the salads. The sides are fresh and homemade. We also run down whenever we see the dozen BOGO do advertised on Facebook. Went here today for lunch with a friend. After waiting patiently for the cashier to handle the drive thru and another customer we proceeded to order salads that were made to order. But...they weren't. And they were no longer served with mini croissants as advertised on the menu. Was told "they haven't done that for months". The salads took a while to arrive- 20 minutes. For lettuce, onion and not hot bacon. The salad was missing hard boiled egg "because they were out". The iced coffee was good. Overall a very meh experience for the price of our food. Great donuts; filled subs are actually filled 100%. Yummy shredded/creamed chicken sandwich for lunch- true comfort food! LOVE the Pumpernickel bagels- I don't now where else I could get them in the whole area. Amazing savory breakfast sandwiches, too! Lots of great things at Truly D'Vine! read more
