Everything was very good and perfectly made. They did run out of eggs that morning so my friend's breakfast sandwich was just a bagel, cheese, and bacon. They didn't have any sauces to add to it. The workers were so friendly and helpful. They clearly know the regular customers and they stayed busy. My friend and I aren't familiar with Van Wert and the staff was happy to recommend local businesses for us to visit while he hung out. We were there on a Saturday morning and it was busy, but there's ample seating so it was fine. It was cute inside and the enjoyed the exposed brick walls.

The actual atmosphere is bright and cheerful, and has so much potential to be utilized! I've seen that they do have fitness classes which I think is a fantastic idea! This place seemed like a good choice and had order-ahead on the Toast app. So I order a chicken caesar wrap with a banana as the side, plus a coffee. I'm going to run in, grab it, then eat in the car while I'm driving, right?... There's tons of parking on the street right outside, no problem. But as I walk in, I realize this place is deep in the basement of this downtown building. What the heck have I gotten myself into? But it's really charming down there! Tons of seating, nice mood lighting, and super friendly people. The food was almost ready and, as I'm waiting, I start to regret my choice. Why not just hang out here for a while? But my mind was already made up. I grab the food, go to the car... and then realize I can't drive and eat this at the same time. Takes too much coordination. So then I'm frozen. I already left, so I feel like I can't go back in, but I can't start driving either. And so I eat my lunch sitting in the car right outside. Like an idiot. Thanks for reading all of that. I do feel better having put it down in writing. The food was really good! Just what I needed to have the energy to get back on the road. Coffee good too. Seemed to have a little bit of some kind of flavoring in it but I couldn't put my finger on it. If I'm ever back in the area, I look forward to eating lunch in the basement like a civilized person.
