I loooove Cabin Fever Coffee! It's so wonderful to have a local coffee shop in Defiance. For years I'd drive through and just thought it was Bigby - nope! There's a downtown location and a south side location. The downtown location looks sooo good. Amazing vibe. Truly feels like you're inside a cabin / lots of wood, comfy furniture (and a variety of seating options), plus some dead animals on the wall (!). :) The coffee is solid. Sometimes really good - just depends what I get. Current special is honey lavender and iI'd definitely get that again. I usually like their seasonal latte option and usually their brew of the day. Service is always great. Parking options are street, parking lot behind the location, etc. lots of street options. read more

Cabin Fever Coffee - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Defiance, Ohio

I travel to Defiance throughout the year on business. This is our go to coffee stop each morning when I'm in town. I love supporting local business vs the chain restaurants. They will not disappoint! Great coffee, food, and especially the service! They offer true almond syrup for an amazing almond latte. Yummy start to the day. The design and ambiance is warm and welcoming. read more

I love the atmosphere in this little coffee shop. It's a nice place to catch up with friends and just relax.

I went through the drive-through yesterday with my daughter. The young man at the window was very courteous and answered our questions. Our drinks were made quickly and to order. We love going to cabin fever and I've never had a bad experience. I would recommend stopping through either location. Any chance you get! read more

Always a great place for coffee, food and environment! I also love their coffee beans and use their course ground at home!!

Great place for coffee. Nice gathering place with friends and family.

Always loved coming here. The past few months Ive noticed a difference, but these last few Sundays, I have had the worst experience. The girls working were in no rush to take my order, were talking and standing around while pausing making their drinks. I used to love this place but it seems as if nobody has had any desire to do their job. Very sad :( read more

Cozy, nice boba tea. I've only been there a couple times but my drinks were always good and the atmosphere was always pleasant.

As the years have gone by I've grown to love Cabin more and more. I'm here multiple times a week and have quite literally spent hours sipping on drinks, relaxing with friends, and doing homework. The atmosphere is always inviting and cozy. I've enjoyed watching Cabin grow through the years, adding new things to their menu and adding another store on the south side of town. This place truly is a gem in Defiance, OH owned by such a down to earth family with equally as amazing employees. A few of my favorite drinks are a hot Andes and an iced raspberry chai tea. And don't miss out on their cinnamon roll, it's amazing. Don't forget to check out Ruby Rose, a gift shop that is often open next door with access from The Cabin. read more

I believe they have a great atmosphere and cool vibe. I'm a plain coffee person so I just got a plain black coffee. It was good. They have two flavored coffee choices daily (one caffeinated and one decaf). I think their prices are typical. It's a nice place to meet friends or study. They have comfortable furniture and plenty of booths. There is outside seating both out front and a nice patio out back. read more

Always have the friendliest barostas. I love the selection of drinks they have along with that yummy pastries. My favorite place to relax and catch up with friends. read more

Got in town after flying in to Detroit and started my local coffeehouse search. This one seemed the neatest from search results, with no website or menu information it was a shot in the dark (HA!). The location and decor are really neat, the food and coffee were ok but nothing special. The broccoli salad was the best of all. I think the styrofoam and paper cup did nothing to add to this experience. read more

The coffee is good, the breakfast sandwich is bad. The "English muffin" was strange lacking the proper holes etc. Instead it was two thick pieces of round bread. Just buy Thomas brand at the grocery store. The sausage lacked any flavor as did the American cheese slice. read more

So many spots for a well-adorned coffee shop! I love coming here to work, because I don't feel like I'm taking up too much space. People come to talk, read, compute... They have a great drink menu - good for those who do or don't just want coffee. I've only tried 2 things, but I can't say I was crazy about either. Not bad though. Maybe will try a specialty next time. read more

Man, they just don't make good coffee shops like this anymore so finding this place was freaking amazing! I met the owners and both were really nice! My peanut butter mocha was perfect and I liked it so much I had to tell the owner. The rustic feel of this place is so amazing. I felt like I was in a lodge hanging out here! I'm definitely going to come back from Toledo again on a weekend afternoon! Well worth the drive! read more

It was a cute and quaint place the coffee was very good and quite comparable for the city girls to Starbucks the only thing I wish was the sizes were just a little bit bigger so I could have a little bit more and the sandwich was excellent. So if you're ever in defiance I suggest you check out the little downtown coffee shop. Below are some pictures and I could've taken more but to appreciate it you just have to go to the cabin and see it for yourself. read more

Very fun spot. Friendly service, yummy lunch, and clean space for road weary travelers. A gem in Defiance!

Cabin Fever is by far the most laid-back place in town to get a coffee or a pastry. I haven't had the opportunity to get lunch there, but I've had most of their menu that involves espresso and/or dessert. I'd say some of the blended coffee drinks are on the sweet side, more like a Starbucks drink than something a coffee buff would love, but that's just up to your taste buds. I'm sure the baristas could help out too, they often help me mix up something special when I'm not sure what I want! I've found the baristas are always very friendly and business is slow and steady enough that no one is rushed - unless the junior high has let out for the day and overrun the place. I definitely like frequenting local places when possible so that factors in as well. read more

Good coffee and mozzarella panini with refreshing salad that included broccoli and what it seem to be celery. The place gets a bit crowded after hours around 6 o'clock, So try to come as early as possible. The place is huge it does have outdoor seating and it does feel like you are in the cabin hence the name. However, I deduct a star because I am not into stuffed dead animals and it was all over the walls. It's not for everyone.. read more

Wonderful atmosphere, lots of drink selections including bubble tea, iced teas, hot teas, and coffee drinks. There are sandwiches available at select times of the day. Muffins, scones, cookies almost always available. read more

What's not to love about this place!!?? The atmosphere is comfortable cabin stuff (real buffalo and moose heads), not the tacky carved bears and trinkets. The staff are very helpful; clearly the produce of the onsite owner/manager. read more

Such a wonderful staff and amazing drinks & food!! I would highly recommend CABIN FEVER!!! I love their Raspberry Chai!!!

I do adore this place, but with the swarms of pre-teens, I tend to stay away from here unless I am absolutely in need of caffeine! The Almond Joy Frappe is great! read more

Our favorite coffee spot. Love the coffee, fabulous atmosphere, a wonderful place to meet friends and catch up on life!! We travel a lot and haven't found a place that compares to the Cabin! read more

I love Cabin Fever. Every time I'm home visiting family, I stop in at least twice. They offer all the sugar-free flavors in existence, make excellent espresso, and have a friendly/helpful staff. The shop itself is cozy and really evokes the feeling of a cabin in the woods. They offer a variety of local goods including candy, candles, etc. definitely check them out! read more

The blueberry lavender tea with honey is to die for. It's my favorite! For any tea lover out there, this is a game changer!

Everything was really good here very open environment, good coffee, and great sandwiches. Try the Caprece sandwich its delicious!

I love this place!! I don't spend much time in Ohio but when I do, I try to explore a bit. I spent the latter half of my summer studying for the GRE and I needed a place outside of bedroom...for obvious reasons haha...and I found this quaint coffee shop downtown! I spent nearly every day of my last 3 weeks of summer there studying. There's a lot of seating and the baristas there are SO NICE. Not to mention, the coffee and tea was really good as well. Love the entire vibe of this place. It's lively but still peaceful enough that you can work all day. read more

Did some work in Kendallville several months ago and this was my morning stop every day. Very good coffee, good service, and good prices.

It's okay, the menu is somewhat misleading. The flavors they have listed aren't really for any purpose. The bubble teas are good, but when I ordered it II said smoothie and he told me there were only these flavors available so I was confused on all that and ended up not even getting what I was wanting because I thought according to the menu I could get something with a different flavor(ie Peanut Butter for example) read more

Making my way through the quaint town of Defiance for work and stumbled upon this gem of a place. Ordered the caprese panini with turkey and the broccoli salad. The employees are so pleasant, greet everyone by name and seem genuinely happy to be here. The food is fresh, quick, and homemade! I will definitely make this a traditional stop on my adventures through Ohio! read more

Yum! I live in Ann Arbor area and come through here to see my SO's family. This is the best place in this stretch of Ohio if you are used to good food, coffee, and friendly service. read more

Excellent coffee and lil sister told me the cinnamon roll was awesome. Atmosphere casual/romantic. Loved outdoor café style settings. Will definitely return. read more

BETTER THAN STARBUCKS... Wonderful emplyees, very welcoming and relaxing... word of warning- Don't go in on Friday's during the school year, the junior high school is less than a mile away and the children run wild and make the cabin very unsettling..... OTHER THAN THIS, I srongly reccomend trying their coffee, I love everything here from their coffee to their cream cheese pretzels! :) read more

Amazing chicken ceaser wrap! Found this place on yelp and recommend it. Great food and cinnamon roll !

I could spend all day sitting at this place, sipping on hot, tasty coffee and scarfing up plate after plate of delicious broccoli salad. Seriously though, passing through Defiance on a road trip and stopped in here for a bite. Great service, really yummy sandwiches. read more

Yummy and great atmosphere! Quick and friendly people! We like to go and just hang out there.

This coffee shop is fairly new to the area and I have found it has the best expresso and lattes.
