Empanadas - The filling wasn't bad but the dough was so greasy I couldn't eat it. I like butter, but I don't want to feel like I'm eating a stick of it for lunch. I do like the clever idea of stamping initials on the tops of them so you don't have to guess at what's inside if you know what the letters stand for. The sweet and savory flavors should have different crusts; the base recipe isn't sweet enough to pair well with fruit. Other things I've tried were underbaked, doughy, and not flavorful. I am a baker myself and I have pretty high standards if I'm going to buy baked goods rather than making them. This place was an unfortunate miss for me.

She said she understood their products were not for everyone....I am not quite sure who likes Apple Paczkis with no Apple filling...but I will agree it's only my negative opinion I hold. I will agree with that notion because I'm sure there are people when given a jelly donut from Dunkin Donuts under the guise it's a paczki would respond with, "Yum! Delicious." Krystal said she will refund 50% of my purchase. Yay! Improvement. However, I still can't decide if I would have paid $19 for the order knowing what I know now. +1 Star for some financial compensation.
