I cannot sing the praises of this Fort Wayne coffee shop enough. If it tells you anything, we visited as we were driving through town heading north and we loved it so much that we stopped again on our way south back to Indy. For starters, they make all of their non-dairy milks in house. The oat milk was fabulous! This also helps avoid all of the funky ingredients that are often added to these alternative milks. The staff was very friendly and the space was expansive with local artwork on display for sale, a variety of food items for purchase, coffee beans and a great coffee menu. I thoroughly enjoyed my lavender latte and we picked up some beans for the road. Overall it was a very positive experience and I will definitely be visiting the next time I am in the Fort Wayne area. read more

Skip this one. I'm being generous with 2 stars here. I ordered the salted caramel latte, and my first taste was awful. There were no notes of salt, caramel, or any good flavor. I was pretty upset, since this is supposed to be high end good coffee. Also why the paper straw??? I don't understand why you would want your coffee to taste bad through a paper straw. Anyways, once the ice melts, the flavor isn't so bad, which is the only reason why it's getting 2 stars. There's some God awful aftertaste, but it mellows out when the ice melts. Depending on the day the atmosphere changes a bit with voices and busy people popping in and out of the already tiny lot, but if you come on a tame Tuesday or Wednesday with a sweater and a good book you might feel like you just had a nice relaxing bath. I got the caprese sandwich and my favorite- lavender matcha and it was just such a nice environment for reading. I was greeted with a friendly staff and super cute interior/vibe. The cafe is so cute with so much room between seating tables - call me anti-social, I loved it. Lol. The caprese sandwich had some sort of jam(assuming tomato jam??), mozzarella cheese, fried egg, arugula and pesto. This is a great quiet shop with lots of places to work. The atmosphere is very calm and peaceful. The baristas were kind and friendly when I went. Turmeric ginger chai latte. Sooo good. This drink is so balanced. The ginger is subtle and the turmeric is not overpowering. The sweetness level was just right too. I got the drink hot, and it was such a warming cup of tea in the winter. I'm sure iced would be just as good. I try to partake in a new coffee experience every time I travel back to the Fort. Conjure has skyrocketed to the top of my list for coffee (and roasting!). The Cafe Miel (milk, espresso, honey, cinnamon) was a perfect balance of smooth and sweet. The Cortado was equally delicious and bold. This is a delayed review, BUT let me tell you about the Lavender Latte! It's so yummy and the lavender scent is sooo calming. I get it with coconut milk, which gives it a lighter taste. This is the only drink I've tried, because it's so good! I haven't been here since Pre-Pandemic, but I'm looking forward to returning soon. I dined in once and had breakfast..of course I got the Lavender Latte again with I believe it was bacon (possibly pork belly?) eggs and toast or a croissant, but it was much fancier looking and tasting than your regular eggs, bacon, and toast. You can tell they took the time to make it special and use the best ingredients. It's an inviting cozy space with lots of windows. The staff was friendly and helpful. The espresso and espresso based drinks here have been consistently great. I recently had a single origin espresso that was very good. They also do a really good avocado toast -- the bread is substantial with good flavor, and there is a good mixture of salt and acidity in the smashed avocado. They have a nice space for meeting a friend, reading, working or just enjoying a coffee. Their pour overs are less consistent -- I've had a few good ones but also had a few that were underextracted and slightly sour. read more

I have driven by Conjure Coffee everyday on my way to work and finally stopped in. I've wanted to come by before, but parking has been difficult and I'm typically in a rush. Now that I've been inside, I get why this place is so popular. Conjure is an inviting place to work remotely and stay for a while to meet with friends or colleagues. There is plenty of seating that spans multiple rooms. Prices are reasonable and the baristas are friendly. I ordered a mocha. What I liked most about it, was that it wasn't overly sweet and the espresso was rich. Honestly, I am that coffee drinker that needs caffeine to do all the things, but isn't particularly interested in the taste, hence why my typical drink masks the flavor. I am in Fort Wayne with my husband for the weekend and the owner of our Airbnb suggested that we check this place out. My husband ordered a plain latte and I order the miel latte. Both were exceptional (and I highly recommend the miel with oat milk!) The star of the show, though, was the raspberry danish. I ordered one at the last minute after a brief debate but I overheard another cafe goer say "between hanging out with my friends and eating this danish, I'd pick the danish) so obviously I had to give it a try. It's hard to give Conjure less than 5 stars, as I've been an avid fan of their coffee and food for years now. However, I think they've made some bad decisions, starting with their new menu and service model. Although the menu is good, and very creative, they got rid of what was, in my opinion, much better - things like the chicken bowl, with rice (they no longer carry rice). It was one of the reasons I went to conjure so much. Their new menu is not as good, with nothing catering to someone who doesn't want onions on their pancakes, or very highly acidic mustard in their hash browns. They also stopped making their in-house smoked bacon - which was some of the best I've ever had. The service model is very confused - Conjure needs to decide what they are. Are they a dine-in, full service restaurant? Or a coffee shop that also offers food? My wife and I went to the register to order, but then were told to go sit at a table for full-service. However, no one was around to wait on us, so we waited 15 minutes without being greeted. We went up to the register again, to order food, but we were reassured that someone would be right with us, at our table. However, after waiting another 5 minutes without being given water, or menus, we left and went somewhere else all together. We were inside the coffee shop for over 20 minutes, and we never got the chance to give them our money. Conjure roasts their own beans, which are fantastic, and we love their lattes (although they're not hot enough in our opinion). Still one of the best coffee shops in Fort Wayne, but with their food and service on the decline, they've lost their crown as the town's best coffee shop. read more

Adorable little gem! You can find Conjure on Columbia Avenue just East of Downtown Fort Wayne. But keep your eyes peeled, you can easily drive right past this place! Parking can be a little tricky but you can find spots in the small parking lot or on the street nearby. The interior is crisp and clean. You will find cement floors, white walls and modern tables. Service was ok, but could have been better. I ordered a chai tea latte and a GK cinnamon roll (which never disappoints). The latte was great and a perfect start to my day. But what really sets Conjure apart is the atmosphere! The mismatched furniture is incredibly twee. I'm not from Fort Wayne, but I was really hoping to find some good black coffee, which is usually a rare find without being in a larger city. I was STOKED to find conjure a few minutes from my hotel and that they offer single origin pour overs which are very good, if you don't mind paying $4/$5, which I don't. These are sustainable coffees that are paying much more to the farmers than a cheaper dollar cup of joe. Way better taste and good to support the local business. Atmosphere is spacious and clean. The barista was heading down the coffee snood path for sure. I'd be careful with that. I've seen many coffee shops loose their reputation and become unapproachable simply due to the over zealousness of their staff. We all love coffee, but ultimately, you have to stay friendly and keep most of the technical coffee lingo to yourself. We'll still appreciate it without the expose. I still give this place a 5 STAR because every Fort Wayne needs a coffee shop like Conjure. I wish them the best and hope they flourish as more and more Fort Waynians drink better, sustainable, coffee. read more

I finally made it to Conjure! And I am oh so happy I did. First off - love the decor. They are doing it alllll right. I love the clean look of the white and everything is so esthetically pleasing to the eye. Service was super friendly. I ordered a featured drink, Burnt Lemon and Nutmeg Cortado. The flavors were subtle and very enjoyable. I could've easily drank two or three (it is a smaller serving), but I would've probably been bouncing off the walls. There is ample seating - spaces to work alone and other areas where you can work in a small group. We sat in the space off of the main area. I am assuming this is overflow seating as there was some space over there being used for storage and the tables were rod iron. I am guessing they go outside during the warmer weather? Regardless it was still pretty comfy. I love all the airplants throughout the space. I would say Conjure is nailing the simplistic, chic design to a T. They sell locally made baked goods and I regularly see posts about craft donuts for sale....my kinda place! I love coffee and I adore a great neighborhood coffee shop. I stepped into Conjure Coffee this morning to have a look around. Aesthetically, this is one of the loveliest coffee shops I've ever been in. They offer lots of clean white linear looks. The paint, the counter accessories, the large center table and chairs. It's really beautiful, as is the secondary room off to the side with the large green plants. It's such a great looking space. I loved the entire look of the shop. Parking is tight, it's best to back in to make getting out easy. The staff: I have no accurate feel or assessment of the staff. They were rather busy this morning and banal conversation wasn't on the list of things they were engaging in. This coffee shop appears to be tailor made for a young, hip crowd. I love the scenery. I just think I'm aged out of the vibe. I recommend trying it - come early to get a great spot. This place fills up pretty quickly. I choose a 3 star rating due to my own experience. It's a beautiful place, I love the product, I just didn't feel comfortable. I'm learning that customer service, content, context, and comfort are all equally important. read more
