Great happy hour! Recommend their wings. Skip the pizza. Attentive staff. Food can take a bit longer depending on the day.

    Outside of dc. Real classy.

Opens at 6AM and the place has SHOWERS! I will definitely stop by here a few times before work. The atmosphere is beautiful. It made me forget I was in the middle of DC. Nice area so lots of cuties walking around. Try the $1 night and spend money on pizza/beer instead of spending 40-50 JUST to reserve a spot like you would at wack ass top golf. on-top of that I think it's more family friendly compared to top golf. The place was busy and Matt was busy busting his b*lls running around, but he got things done. I was very pleased. The food was normal and the beers were cold. I will be back. UPDATE: Went again. The months that I can relax, this will be my spot. Everyone I've met here is down to listen to customers and down to earth. I know I'm cheesy and I'm yet to see any eyes roll. The manager, she was good and sold us on some merch and possible some deals in the future.

I am NOT a golfer (yet) but I liked this place. It definitely is a place for people that golf but I didn't feel totally out place with my very little experience. Everyone is doing their own thing, and have their own space. This is nothing like top golf. It's high tech and you get a lot of feed back on your stance, how far you hit the ball, etc. They even play back video footage of you hitting the ball, it's all pretty cool. You also order your food on a tablet at your section and you can specify in the comment section if you want to make any adjustments to your order. The drinks were good! They weren't rails or syrupy drinks that you would get at a sports bar. The boneless wings were good too, I didn't get to try it with any of the sauces but the naked ones were fried perfectly. However the Hot Honey sauce was highly recommended. Unfortunately, they don't have bone in wings. All of the sliders were also suggested, but I just got the Butchers Blend Smashburger Slider with bacon. I will be back to try the rest! But the burger was so good. It was on the bigger side of a slider, but I have no complaints. The bun was fresh I think it was a brioche bun and the sauce on it was the perfect addition and amount. Their salads are HUGE, unnecessarily, the lettuce to other ingredient ratio was way off. I got the Simple Salad and I ended up taking the cucumbers, tomatoes and crispy chicken off and just eating that with a little lettuce. You can add pulled chicken, shrimp and crispy chicken to your salad. Can't wait to visit again.

We had a great time here for our impromptu date night. We came on a Monday and we got a bay right away. We ordered drinks on an iPad and truly as soon as we ordered it the drinks were already at the table. This is a great place for great golfers , bad golfers , and truly just anyone. The staff was also very kind. They also offer classes !

We had a blast taking golf lessons with Amy. She focused on our pelvic tilt, stance, and swing. She really knows her stuff.

I took my hubby here to celebrate his birthday. We started out with a 30 minute golf lesson from Amy. She was excellent- great personality and very helpful instructions. We also invited friends to join us. It was everyone's first time at this venue. The seating was comfortable and the wings were on point. Tiana was our bartender. She kept our drinks flowing. We had a blast.

    Simulator stats.

Easy outing for group of four work colleagues after dinner. QR code for waiver and paid bay by the hour. Bay table needed a wipe down. Staff super friendly and responsive.

Awesome spot for golfers of all skill levels. You can play a number of simulated courses, practice your golf swing or even get a lesson from one of their pros. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. It's a little pricy but with a small group it's well worth it. The drinks are reasonably priced and the foods super good too.

Deliciousness - 3/5 Happiness -5/5…read more This place is for drinkers as it has no food, so if you want to lift an ale (and go out for dinner before or after, or bring food in with you), this is the place to be. They have a large beer, wine, and liquor list (although not nearly as many English beers as I expected from a place called Crown & Crow). I won't deny that I wasn't a fan of either of the mixed cocktails I had, with both (including strangely a smoky drink) being too sweet. But the beer was expertly poured and the wine was a very generous serving. The prices are also more than reasonable, which is great for a DC bar. But what really elevates this place is the service. By late night, the place was jam packed. But each and every bartender was extremely friendly and they expertly worked the crowd, getting drinks served quickly (which too few places manage to do) and swiftly clearing off tables of dirty glasses. I also greatly appreciated the free goldfish that they happily dole out to the patrons. The staff made this a really good time.

The bartender in that area was friendly, but unhelpful, directing us to use the front room's bartender, even though she wasn't busy when we approached and asked for a couple of drinks. The bartender in the main room was great, he was very friendly and once he started a tab for me he said I could use the other bar too, I guess he wasn't aware the bartender at that other bar already told me she wouldn't help me. Regardless, the drinks we had were decent. For small bites, they only had gold fish crackers, I wish they would have had more to nosh on while drinking. Overall, not a bad visit.

This location is in the heart of the city so even if you care to walk around the city at the end of beginning of your trip to S&S, you're in a good mobile area! Other eatery and entertaining spots are all within walking disance. Parking to address, was bad. There are SOME parking lots in the surrounding areas but verrrry minimal, so I would advise Uber'ing in or carpooling with friends. My party of 3 were lucky to have gotten a spot right outside of the entrance. Sidebar, because the Super Bowl and other sports are in rotation now, I would 100000% advise parties over 2 to make a reservation, as its the most helpful to guarantee a spot. See Open Table for reservations - that was where our plans were arranged. See attached pictures for the food we ate and enjoyed - the wings (mine were mumbo and buffalo), fries, and crab dip.

My friend hosted a happy hour there, and I love when events like that introduce you to new spots. The drink specials were honestly amazing with $6 drinks, which is hard to beat. The food specials ended at 7 while the drink specials continued until 8, so I was a little bummed to miss out on that. One thing to note if you're ordering food, the four cheese pizza comes with burrata, which I didn't realize ahead of time. I'd definitely come back to try more of the food, especially the flatbreads since they seem to have a lot of good options. That said, I don't think the staff was fully prepared for the size of our group. My friend brought around 60 people on a Friday night, and it was clear the servers were overwhelmed. At times, it took over 10 minutes just to place an order. I don't necessarily think that's the norm, so I'd be open to coming back during a regular happy hour to get a better feel for the service. Great size bar as well.

I visited as part of the full experience -- dinner downstairs at Birch & Barley, then up to Churchkey for drinks -- and honestly, it's one of the best evenings I've had in DC. Churchkey itself is everything a great bar should be. The beer selection is absolutely unreal -- hundreds of carefully curated labels spanning every style, region, and flavor profile you can imagine. What sets it apart is that the staff actually knows the menu. Our server walked us through a few options based on what we liked and landed us on perfect picks both times. That kind of genuine expertise is rare. The tavern pizzas from the wood-fired oven were a wonderful surprise -- thin, crispy, and the perfect companion to a cold draft. The smash burger also deserves a mention: simple, well-executed, and hits the spot. The vibe is warm and lively without being overwhelming. Great for a date, a group, or even just sitting at the bar solo with a good beer and good conversation with the bartender. This place has earned its reputation as one of the best beer bars on the East Coast -- and then some. Highly recommend making a full night of it with both floors. You won't regret it.
