12/11/2025 - Thursday. Well, I dropped by here for the endless wings for $5 boneless or $10 with bone and happy hour that ends at 6pm. I arrived at 5pm, made my way down and they had a private event and it was busy. I go to the bar and ask for the endless wings. Guy was nice and said there are 4 orders and it would take 30-45 minutes for my order to come through. I stayed I won't get the endless wings if the time ends at 6. I will just have one order. He said you are correct. Appreciated the answer and I left. 2 stars overall to the employee and it looked nice down there. -3 stars for not having the employees in the kitchen to keep up. First time at a Five Iron Golf and attended the Gals on the Green, where you can mix and mingle with other women golfers. The staff there were fantastic and so attentive. Right when I got to the bay, they offered complimentary prosecco and all the women there were super welcoming and encouraging. One of the pros, Jack, came over to offer tips and was really helpful and encouraging. It was a great event and encourage others to try it out! Five Iron has 10 simulator bays at this location, a bar where you can order drinks and food, and it's a really chill vibe. read more

Five iron has been on my list to visit for a while now - glad I finally made it! Perfect date night spot on a long holiday weekend - I stopped by on a Sunday evening to take advantage of their all day Sunday specials and discounted golf. $5 bottomless wings, $5 beers + house whiskey cocktail, and access to the golf sim for $25 per hour. Tough to beat these rates. We had a full evening of fun and full bellies for $70. The staff are really fast and friendly - they stopped by our bay often to deliver food, drink, and make sure we had everything we need. They definitely made sure we got our fill of food and drink. This was my first time using a golf sim (I'm an average golfer who plays weekly at my local course). I really enjoyed the sim experience and was pleased with the variety of clubs/balls they had to offer. This is totally a spot you could visit to get your practice swings in; they have a membership program which offers all sorts of discounts and perks on your visits. They also have showers which tells me that some folks do use this spot as a true practice space. My date isn't a golfer but still had a great time - there are games within the sim that allow for folks of all skill levels to get into it. If you don't want to golf at all? No problem. There are two bars in the space,a handful of bartop tables, and plenty of games like fooseball and shuffleboard to enjoy. Easy five stars - I look forward to my next trip! I spent a lot of time this summer at Five Iron and had a wonderful time. Gazza is a really great instructor, encouraging and super helpful. All of the staff are chill and welcoming, it's a very comforting space to be. I liked the sliders and fries but would want to try more on the menu. The golf games are fun and I'm grateful that they helped improve my swing. I definitely recommend this place for golfers of all skills. read more

Opens at 6AM and the place has SHOWERS! I will definitely stop by here a few times before work. The atmosphere is beautiful. It made me forget I was in the middle of DC. Nice area so lots of cuties walking around. Try the $1 night and spend money on pizza/beer instead of spending 40-50 JUST to reserve a spot like you would at wack ass top golf. on-top of that I think it's more family friendly compared to top golf. The place was busy and Matt was busy busting his b*lls running around, but he got things done. I was very pleased. The food was normal and the beers were cold. I will be back. UPDATE: Went again. The months that I can relax, this will be my spot. Everyone I've met here is down to listen to customers and down to earth. I know I'm cheesy and I'm yet to see any eyes roll. I am NOT a golfer (yet) but I liked this place. It definitely is a place for people that golf but I didn't feel totally out place with my very little experience. Everyone is doing their own thing, and have their own space. This is nothing like top golf. It's high tech and you get a lot of feed back on your stance, how far you hit the ball, etc. They even play back video footage of you hitting the ball, it's all pretty cool. You also order your food on a tablet at your section and you can specify in the comment section if you want to make any adjustments to your order. The drinks were good! They weren't rails or syrupy drinks that you would get at a sports bar. The boneless wings were good too, I didn't get to try it with any of the sauces but the naked ones were fried perfectly. However the Hot Honey sauce was highly recommended. Unfortunately, they don't have bone in wings. All of the sliders were also suggested, but I just got the Butchers Blend Smashburger Slider with bacon. I will be back to try the rest! But the burger was so good. It was on the bigger side of a slider, but I have no complaints. The bun was fresh I think it was a brioche bun and the sauce on it was the perfect addition and amount. Their salads are HUGE, unnecessarily, the lettuce to other ingredient ratio was way off. I got the Simple Salad and I ended up taking the cucumbers, tomatoes and crispy chicken off and just eating that with a little lettuce. You can add pulled chicken, shrimp and crispy chicken to your salad. Can't wait to visit again. read more

Only heard about this place recently -- it's neat! Not much of a golfer, but I see the potential for having a good time with groups there for their simulators! I noticed that the areas are right out in the open and not sectioned off like I would've expected. It was the first stop on the Margarita March and I got there way before anyone else, so I was chillin at the bar. There were quite a few bartenders running around, and perhaps it's because they were setting up for the March still, but I didn't find them to be very attentive. It took me a while to flag down any of them, but when I did, drinks were great! I'm blaming the March, based on everyone else, but I was like it's not even crowded yet... how are you all gonna handle the bulk of the crowd in a few hours?? Other than that, the place was really clean, and had a nice wall decor near the bathrooms. I can't speak on the food, but I will probably try it next time. Happy golfing! read more

Jack was the man. Built my confidence up and also gave me the tools to assess my swing and refine on my own. I did 4 classes and a fitting with him. Always positive and patient super chill. I have been here a good handful of times and it's always fun. They have more Trackman bays than expected. Top of the line for sure. I've been here for events and happy hours. Usually they are run well. Food is just okay and the service is slow. The parking during a weeknight or a night there's a Caps/Wizards game or concert is horrible. Be sure to book a spot in a local garage if that's the case. I went here recently early on a Monday holiday and it was a mess. Trackman went down halfway through so we had to wait for it to reboot. Food never showed up. Plus we were almost cut a half hour short. They were nice enough about everything but it wasn't worth the trip down. I'll give this place another shot in the future and update the review if necessary. Small thing: they provide beat up Callaway golf balls. If you're coming here, you may think about splurging and bringing some Titleist ProV1 RCT golf balls which are designed to be used with Trackman inside. We had a great time here for our impromptu date night. We came on a Monday and we got a bay right away. We ordered drinks on an iPad and truly as soon as we ordered it the drinks were already at the table. This is a great place for great golfers , bad golfers , and truly just anyone. While the services offered (swing evaluations with Trackman and video) are reported to be good, Five Iron Golf does not appear to respect customer's privacy rights or their concerns for the security of their credit card information. Given the frequency of high-profile data breaches at some of the world's most prestigious companies, I never grant permission for online vendors to store my credit card information. I bought a $79 Swing Evaluation from Five Iron Golf's website, providing my credit card info for the transaction, but did not grant permission for it to be stored. The account created used only my name and email address. When I tried to schedule a reservation for my Swing Evaluation, Five Iron Golf's website first tried to charge me another $99. After some email exchanges, I was finally presented with a screen showing a "Projected Total" cost of $0, so I then clicked "Reserve". I was then presented with a screen asking for my credit card information. I then called Five Iron Golf at 1-800-513-5153 to attempt to schedule my reservation by phone. After explaining what had happened online, the agent with whom I spoke consulted her management then told me that I had to provide my credit card information even though I'd already paid for the Swing Evaluation that I was attempting to schedule. When I asked for a refund, I was told that the Swing Evaluation purchase was non-refundable. Caveat emptor! read more

I went here for a work event and had a fun time. The staff employee was enthusiast and very helpful. He helped me work on my swing and get better at it, it was like getting a personal golf lesson. I was worried about how close the screens are but he assured me that the golf ball can't ricochet and hit me back in the face. The lower level is very spacious. Mekare was an awesome event coordinator and helped me setup a 2 bay reservation for my husband's birthday! Communication with Mekare was seamless and she ensured that I picked out the right package for the event. On the day of, Dylan waited on our section. He and his team provided great service. The food and drinks were all good. The simulations have various courses and games, and provide lots of data on your specific hit. There's even an option to record your hit so you can review your posture immediately afterwards. There were also other games, like shuffle board, for those that weren't as interested in playing golf. My husband and his friends had so much fun at 5 iron. Highly recommend this venue, especially for golf enthusiasts! read more

Really awesome experience & concept. Went to the NYC location often prior to moving to DC. Rating is reflective of staff when I had an event there. The event manager prior was very thorough and communicative. Felt super clear and supportive prior to my event. We had an event for ~15 people and rented two bays. On the day of the event, we were in the back space and it was a seemingly great set up for a group. What was not great was that no one was really serving us the entire day, and we constantly had to go find someone when we wanted to order anything. Would have been preferred if someone managed expectations and told all ~15 of us to just go to the main bar for the afternoon. When our time expired, we told them we didn't want to extend and remained in the area finishing our drinks. No one told us that the area was reserved or to leave, so we sat on the couches finishing our drinks. After the event, I was charged $250 for "extending our time" with the event manager (who wasn't present) says the staff claimed to tell us multiple times to leave and we didn't. This never happened and I feel very ripped off and that the staff was dishonest. I'd never have an event here again unless you want to be squeezed for more money. read more

We were here for a work conference in Sept 2019, and it was good. Very good appetizers, convenient bar spaces, and setting for a small meet up/team building venue. It looks like they have leagues, and we saw what I believe was the Howard University team getting ready to practice. They also have shower space and towels. read more

Was in DC for a conference and meetings and our group decided to stop in for an hour for some drinks and hitting some golf balls. It wasn't too busy when we stopped in and the place ended up being pretty sweet! The facilities are nice and they also have a full bar. I saw some other patrons bring in their own clubs but we used the facility's clubs which was actually a really good set. We hit some balls on the virtual range and played a couple 9-hole rounds before our time was up. Drinks were good and reasonably priced. Would definitely come back! read more

Just recently opened and brand new franchise. Excellent location near National Portrait Gallery and Capital One Arena. Trackman simulators reserved based on peak and non peak times. Max is 6 people per simulator. Sunscreen and bug spray not needed. Top notch equipment. Good food menu and bar. Had a chance to play in NYC and quite a blast with friends and family. Next level entertainment, yet serious enough to unwind and de-stress. Chance to have fun with golf and not be so competitive. Golf lessons available for all levels. Five Iron Golf in DC was an amazing venue for my introduction to golf event. The instruction staff was incredible and extremely patient and kind with my group of new golfers. Upon arrival, the 5i staff welcomed participants and helped guide everyone in the right direction. The bartenders were so attentive and made the process easy for 36 of us to grab quick drinks and food throughout our event. I was so impressed by Five Iron! We came for my husband's birthday with a group that included beginner and experienced golfers, and we all really enjoyed it. We were able to bounce back and forth between playing on a simulated golf course and playing other games. I love how there is really something for every level. We happened to have two little kids in tow, and the staff were so nice and really went above and beyond. One staff member went out of his way to get my daughter a glass of milk. We didn't order food, but we got some drinks from the bar and the service and ambiance were all great.
