I assume this is the only bathroom at the facility and a decent number of people will need to use them if they're here for hours, so I hope they keep them in better shape. The practice putting green is nice though! And for some relevant advice - I heard you really need to get there close to when it opens on weekend mornings unless you don't mind waiting a long time for golf.

The technology of the launch monitor combined with video replay and Nondh's observations accelerated my game to where I am now eager to get on the course rather than avoiding the tee box. Flaws were immediately visible on the video and results were immediately visible in the launch monitor where I could see the distance I was hitting the ball and the angle of flight. The three forms of feedback moved my game from stagnant to dynamic with improvements coming quickly. Highly recommend Nondh for his great insights and creative techniques to improve my swing.

The women's selection of clothes is perfect! I love love love golf attire. I have been buying pieces from each golf course like the guys do and the fabric and material is great. I rather wear golf shirts as lounge wear because of the comfort. My PGA shirt from Florida is so comfy. With that said although PGA is the biggest Golf store it stays crowded and bays are usually full. They definitely have more variety but not sure they have the same trade in deal as the competitors. Overall the value is great and golf stuff is pretty competitive in price. We come often when we are actually here in the DMV on the weekends. Come September I'll have to take my golf set on the road and I'm grateful they had smaller carrying cases so I can just take my range clubs to practice. This is the ultimate rich person sport so fair warning! This is not for the cheapskates!

I brought a friend who's new to golf to try some irons. We were told to wait, and after about 10 minutes, an employee named Dan took us to a simulator. When my friend said he wanted to "hit balls," Dan immediately got condescending and reprimanded us, even though it was clear my friend was new and simply misspoke. Later, when I asked to try a couple clubs while my friend grabbed others, Dan asked if I planned to buy anything. I said possibly, depending on the data and pricing. He responded with a sarcastic comment implying I was just there to "bang balls," then walked off saying, "have fun banging balls." The entire interaction was unprofessional and left a really bad impression. Unfortunately, I won't be returning after this experience.

The temperature should be from 60-65, and anyone getting a good sweat and workout in would understand why that's ideal. Here, I was literally dripping sweat after a couple of sets on the leg press. No cardio before. Ridiculous. Oh, and the towels to dry off all the sweat? They were full size. That's all they had. No regular towels for the hot gym that causes you to drip sweat. I've lived in Texas, California, and Arizona--all of which were just as if not more hot than the DMV, with sufficiently cooled gyms. All I keep getting from gyms around here when I ask are excuses. I'm tired of it. It's unacceptable for a large corporate gym. If anyone knows of a COLD gym to lift at please, let me know.

I called the club and asked to cancel, they referred me to their Gm who confirmed via email that my membership was cancelled (with 30 days notice which was fine with me). Life is good right? Then the drama starts... This email was on 3/11/25 so any reasonable person would thing it was cancelled 4/11/25. Instead they hit my Amex on 4/25/25 for the nexts months membership. I email the GM multiple times with no response (again I'm now traveling constantly so coming in person is not an option). Finally at my wits end I dispute with Amex. Amex approves the dispute with my proof in writing (and blocks all further charges from them). Then not only did they ghost me. Their 3P harasses me for payment on a membership I have clearly cancelled (in writing). And threatens me with collections. When I forwarded them the written confirmation of cancellation they stated that it wasn't sufficient and not in the clubs policy - I have to pay $450+ despite having written documentation my cancellation. WHAT?! So hear me out - an employee, at the club. With a club email said my membership was cancelled. Why am I now being threatened with collections for $450+ because of this and they refuse a Golds gym email as proof of cancellation! No one will call me back from the gym, and their 3P is abysmal. This is the horror story you hear about gym memberships. People screw up, but honor the screw up - especially when it's in writing. Spend the $ and go to equinox - this gym and their admin function is trash
