this was such a fun date night excursion place because it was a golf simulator, but they also had a bar and food so there was something to do for everyone. They also had a way to do other activities yet we did not do that we only stuck with golf. We went on a Friday night from the 11-1 deal where the bays are five dollars with the understanding that you have to get two drink minimum. we ended up ordering the sliders and fries just for having some food because we were hungry from playing so much golf and the food was actually really delicious The bartenders were super nice and really helpful when discussing their specialty cocktails that they have I was always surprised that those place was not busy at night because it was such a cool vibe and it was like one of those places where you can just go and hang out even if you aren't golfing because they had pool and shuffleboard and a bunch of other things Will definitely be back for another date night read more

This place is AWESOME! I am not a great golfer, but there are so many different options to play. We played a bit of putt putt, but then we ended with a competition to see how far we could hit. The bays are all semi-private, and the golf clubs they have are in excellent shape. And of course, if you have any issues or questions, the staff are always available and are so friendly! We got a few appetizers while we played too. The chicken wings were my favorite, but we enjoyed the pizza and the spinach artichoke dip too. The jalapeño margaritas were so delicious, and they have a full bar too! Overall, it was a really cool place to play and hang out with friends! Mixed reviews. This is a fun concept, but I wish their sensors and screens worked better. Maybe it was just our sim but it constantly froze up or didn't register the hit/ball. We'd keep calling an attendant over but he would just re-set things which make it hard to keep playing a game since you start over or it would pickup and drop the ball.. He made it seem we have to have the ball on the tee to make it work but we had hit many that way before so would be nice to have known what's going on. Would have been nice if they extended our time or offered a free game or something with us calling them over so much without us having to mention it. We came to watch the game, drink and snack but since there were sims open decided to just play and ended up buying it for 2 hours. Came around 3 pm Sunday and it's $65/hr and you can get 15% off if wearing team jerseys but be sure to remind them as they don't take it off right away. They have decent bar food selections and a wide selection of drinks with a full bar. I've tried their pizza, boneless wings, fries, pretzels. All decent and what you expect if bar food. They have bucket specials with 6 cans for $30 including Cut Water, Truly, High Noon, etc. and crafted cocktails. They have a wide selection of beers and wine too. It was quiet here for a Sunday when the Bengals were playing. They have a lot of sims and screens to watch the game. They may need to run some promotions or specials to get it livelier inside. Looks like they have some specials for late night and weekdays vs the $80/hr during peak weeknights/weekends. Might come here again when it's less expensive in case the sim does act up again because it's a fun way to pass time. Recommended for Golf. Simulator bays downtown are a fun change of pace, the bays are large enough for your group of 4 to hang out comfortable, and there are food options if you get hungry. Our group found the food to be subpar with all of us agreeing that we would snag food before or after our next visit since some great spots are right nearby anyway. Checked out Five Iron Golf with a group of friends least weekend and it is huge. It's a great addition to downtown. As a non golfer I mainly watched but they also had Foosball and shuffle board to play while others were golfing. Those who did golf commented on how much more accurate they felt it was than other places they have been. When we walked in they showed us how to work everything including the tablets to order drinks. They were well stocked with amenities and overall it was a nice place to have a chill afternoon with a large group. read more

It's situated perfectly in downtown Cincinnati on 5th street and provides virtual golf with over 200 featured golf courses such as Pebble Beach and St. Andrew's. If you're not a big golfer or want to switch it up they also offer games such as Bullseye or Capture the Flag. Five Iron provides golf clubs but if you'd prefer to bring your own you're more than welcome to. During the weekday they are open at 6am if you'd like to get a round in before work and offer lockers and showers to get cleaned up before you start your day. They also offer party rentals where you can host office happy hours or get together with a group of friends. Came here after a meeting and dinner one night. Very cool spot, incredibly clean, and friendly staff. Didn't get to play golf, but I had a few IPAs at the bar. Friends of mine got food in. It all looks pretty good. I will definitely come here again. read more
