Burgers are somewhat tasty greasy gut bombs. If you don't want your burger dripping everywhere, may I suggest getting it without mayo, ketchup, or sauce whatsoever. Add these yourself if you really need them but you probably won't miss them. The grease is sufficient to keep everything lubricated. The french fry situation is redick! They give you the fries in a cup but then you have what looks like a whole other serving in the bag. I came by here to get a quick burger before dropping my stepson off with his mom. Whoever said this place doesn't live up to the hype is sooooo wrong. Not only were all of the people behind the counter super helpful but we had a car full and they got the whole order perfect. With picky kids that is a must. The fries are what I have been searching for for years. They fry in good clean peanut oil. The girl loaded our bags with so many extra fries that I didn't have to worry about starting world war three in the car for the last one. My burger was great. My fries were amazing. I can foresee gaining 20 pounds in my future. Haha. The only quarrel I had was with their price. It was worth it, don't get me wrong but I was not expecting to be smacked with that total. It was only $4 just a year ago. My salary did't go up 20% this past year so why should a simple burger? Fries went up $0.50 and drinks up $0.10 to $0.25. Another Reviewer thought that paying $25+ for two burgers, an order of fries, and two drinks was reasonable? Yea, if they are paying their staff $15/hour, which they're not. I don't have a problem with the food at all. What I did have a problem with was the lack of customer service and speedy delivery for an order I had placed online. It was suppose to take 10 mins from the time I placed it, (not counting the fries) and it took close to 30 mins. There were for young folks working there. Two preparing my food (as I was watching them) and they talked and moved slower than slugs. It was exactly as if I was watching the scene in Zootopia the movie, in the scene with the sloth at the DMV. They talked slow, moved slow.. I'm an Uber Delivery courier and this place was packed. Went to pick up an order, guy mentions the name of my customer, and doesn't acknowledge me when I asked if this was the complete order, so I leave. Only to find out, order was missing their shakes! Way to go! Not only does that make me look bad, but they loved all the way in Battle Ground!!! Called ahead, definitely paid off as was busy inside. I went in and approached the pick up counter, they immediately asked if it was me, said to go over and pay, was shocked as I saw the long line and thought I had to stand in it, they called my name again and said, "no, your behind the current person paying, your next!". Mmm mmm mmmm! Delicious burgers and oh, the cajun fries are to die for! We ordered for a to go and over the phone the lady said the cajun fries were somewhat spicy..not sure if shes even tried them. They are just seasoned. No hint of spicyness at all! You get to add whatever toppings you want for no charge. The burgers are huge and so are the fries! Definitely got full. one of my worst experiences with burgers was at Five guys in Fisher Landing. I have never been to one before, so I have no idea if this is standard or an exception. I went there a few months ago with my family. First, the place was disgusting with peanuts all over the floor. I felt like in a zoo. I can't believe they wouldn't fail their next health certificate. Noisy was an understatement as well, so if you want to eat in peace, go elsewhere. The burger was like a Mc Donald, not any better, but 5 times more expensive, and more greasy, so probably at the bottom of the pack for healthiness (if we could use that word in reference to burgers). The fries were at various levels of doneness, I guess their specialty was supposed to be the burger, but fries at burger king or mc donald always have that CONSISTENCY of what you get. Again, I don't know about Five Guys other locations, but it doesn't look like they have mastered the cooking process in this one.All in all, we were embarrassed to eat at this place, probably the worst food place EVER, and we have traveled to numerous third world countries without getting that uncomfortable feeling. Having eaten at Five Guys back east, I did a double-take today when I saw the sign in Hazel Dell, promptly followed by u-turn to head into their parking lot. I generally dislike fast food, but Five Guys burgers and fries are the stuff cravings are made of. As noted by previous reviewer, the regular burgers are huge with double patties, and there's definitely no skimping on the fixin's. Hubby & I shared a large fries, but could easily have filled up sharing a regular. My only complaint is that I prefer my fries a bit crispier, but these fresh-cut fries still are tasty. Takes a few minutes to get your order, but that's just 'cause they're cooking up fresh to-order. Grab a basket of peanuts (in the boxes by the door) to munch on while you're waiting for your order, just don't fill up too much because your food will be plentiful and scrumptious. read more
