Is Five Guys Worth It? They ask.....
    Chase B.

There are many choices for fast food and I happen to choose five guys today. Is it as hyped up as it once was that as a question I asked myself. I walked into the five guys and was greeted by no one. Within three minutes somebody came up and said can I take your order? I said sure , then they asked me are you paying with a card? I said no they told me sadly they would have to wait. And I said how can that be any kind of good customer service. So I patiently waited another six minutes. Then they came to the front with a drawer with cash in it. Then the gentleman takes my order and then asked me are you paying with a card? I said no I've been waiting for someone to bring or with cash in it. I am paying cash. Fast-forward after that, they finally get my order done. Then when the food finally arrives after 10 minutes plus all the other minutes I've been waiting. The burger is drier than dry and not as warm as it could be. I also noticed they were putting meat in a tin to speed up the process of making burgers. I have never noticed that at five guys at all. And also for the price of the burger meat it looks totally overpriced. So to totally review this whole place I would not even recommend coming again at all. Even for one person is expensive imagine a family. You could go and cook for yourself at half the price. The atmosphere in the building was OK. The bathroom was OK also. But this place totally missed the mark. For the price of a burger that is flattened to thin is totally sad. When I think about getting a burger, I think about a burger that is full of flavor, running down the side of the burger. Sally, I will not be back at all to waste my hard earned money at a place that robs you at the same way. Also, it seems like they do not have any customer service skills and or know how to keep the orders in line. At the end of day, I wish you guys the best on your adventure at five guys. Five Guys Team Missed The Mark!!!

Crazy ass amount of money spent on crap!

Absolutely the most overrated over priced burger on the planet! Nobody in front of us! 15 min and still had to ask for our milkshake! All of our food was wrong and just not good. $75 for three burgers and fries! 1 milkshake and one drink! Seriously I will never go back! What a joke!

Regular Cajun Fries - definitely enough fries for 2 people

If you're looking for a solid cheeseburger and don't need the frills of a sit down restaurant, this is the place to go! Five guys doesn't offer a ton of options, and I think that's great because when you order off the menu you know it's going to be awesome. Their burgers are delicious and the fries that go with them are equally as tasty. I always get the bacon cheeseburger which comes with two patties. It's an incredible value, and with all toppings you can't go wrong! I prefer to just get it "all the way" which comes with a good assortment of toppings and grilled mushrooms which taste so good! There is one thing that makes this location better than most here in Fort Lauderdale and that is the fact that they offer milk shakes! Their milk shakes are incredible! Highly recommended if you want a solid burger for a great value.

Large fries. There's a lot more INSIDE the bag!

Delicious as always. I love this location because they have milkshakes(not all locations have them). The chocolate milkshake is superb, not sickeningly sweet, which I appreciate! The kids and I get the LBC and we're always full. Their hot dogs are good, too! The large fries will feed a family of 4 and then some, so keep that in mind! This place never disappoints and this seems to be consistent across all of the locations that I've visited.

So I know 5 stars seems a little cray for a "fast food" joint, but this place is great. From the moment you walk in, you're promptly greeted by the friendliest staff. The "leader" (I assume because everyone wears red while she wears a black shirt) is SO nice. She really makes visiting this place so much better. As is with all 5 Guys, you order at the counter- either a Cheeseburger or Hamburger- which yields a double patty- or a "lil" version of each can be ordered which is a single. These are served on a sesame seed bun, and come with a number of toppings to select from- all free of charge. I love that these toppings include grilled onions or mushrooms! The fries are hand-cut, and are quite delicious! A nice touch is that they have a huge bin of Peanuts for you to help yourself to. They're salty and still in the shell. Yum! Inside is always clean, although I've only sat down to wait for my to-go order that I bring home for my husband and I. The food is always prepared as ordered, and service is outstanding- so for that, five stars for Five Guys!

Can't remember ever going to a Five Guys before so I wasn't sure what to expect. This is a new location at the West end of Sunrise before you get to the entrance for 75 and the Sawgrass Expressway. It is in the same plaza as LA Fitness, Moe's, Panera and Starbucks. My first impressions was the place is spacious, new and clean. I arrived at around 11:30a well before the lunch rush so there were only a few other patrons. I ordered to go, a little bacon cheeseburger with mayo, ketchup, lettuce and tomato. I left to stop at Starbucks to grab a coffee and came back to get my order. Second impressions, the top of the bag was really greasy which made me apprehensive about what was inside the bag. I asked for another bag which they gladly gave me, reached into the bag and guess what, the outside wrapper of the burger was greasy too. NOOOOOOO!!!! So, I get my burger back to the office with my coffee. Surprisingly enough it was sloppy, but good. Not sure it was worth $8, but it was good. Maybe the experience at Five Guys might be better. I could see that they do give complimentary peanuts. Might be returning.

I'm still here eating and had to stop to post my review. This place is new, replacing a crappy Subway that used to be here. First step in the door and you see how clean it is. The staff is working but having fun. The manager takes out order and is so awesome. You can tell she's s good manager and that the staff listens to her. We sit down and wait for our food. It takes time as things are made to order but it goes t disappoint! Hot fries, tasty made your way burger, cold drink. I'll take that all day!! Come check them out soon before everyone realizes they're here!!

I want to start off by saying that I was really looking forward to a First-Taste Friday experience here. I downloaded the app for ease in ordering. It is well designed and user friendly, yet I realized in the end that bugs must be fixed. Being that we were on the road to run an errand in the area, we chose curbside and made our food selections. There was a step-by-step notification of how to pick up our meal. It included a message that the French fries would be made upon notification of arrival and that the estimated pickup time was 8 minutes. I was pretty surprised with the short preparation time. Regardless, we were excited and made our way there. Upon arrival, there were several cars waiting outside, a couple of customers picking up inside and one waiting outdoors. I called as instructed and they called me "Marcie." When I corrected my name including my last name. The young lady argued about the spelling of my name. I assured her that I entered it correctly and could confirm with my screenshot of the order. Great thing I have a habit of taking screenshots, as the order was inaccurate! She said she would come out soon and we waited...and waited. About 10 minutes later, a young man in a black shirt, which I assume was a manager, came around the passenger-side window trying to confirm the name on the order. Here we go again! The bottom of the bag was greasy--you could see it plainly. He then started to scold me saying that the order was placed online and not curbside; therefore he wasted time walking around the parking lot trying to find me. I tried to explain I placed a first-time order through the app and selected curbside, but it was just downhill from there. Interestingly enough, when I went back in the app, there was no record of my order. But I did get an email confirmation. As far as the food, I completely disliked it. In all honesty, I have had better burgers, shakes and fries just a mile east of them at a popular beef and shake business on the outskirts of the Sawgrass Mall. I cannot stand to chew hamburger meat with bits of tendons or bones in it. Also, my shake was melted--of course it was with all the time it took to "find me," and to make it all worse, the fries were soaked in oil and super duper salty. So much so, that the following morning I woke up with the symptoms of a hangover and had to juice to detox! I want to say it was the first and the last, but I will give them another try a few months down the road and see if something else off their menu is better; yet I won't ever order their fries!! I hope by then, their app will sync with the location of choice too and that they will provide a well-deserved customer service experience. It's not fair to the customers, even less when they choose the highest gratuity percentage ahead of service on the honor system, prior to checkout.

Great food, but over priced. I ordered online and picked it up easy. Just over priced.

My dad used to not like guac until he tried theirs. I usually get the quesadillas, which come with chips. There are different meal options, which I appreciate because meals come with soda at most places and I don't drink soda. You can add just sides of rice and beans for a couple dollars, or that plus a drink for a couple dollars more. They also have a salsa bar with a ton of options. I like the Smack My Ass sauce, which is like a sweet chili sauce and not spicy at all. Their cookie dough flautas are one of my favorite desserts in the world. If you're a cookie dough lover like me, they're an absolute must-try.

I ordered a simple burger with onion rings and a beer, and I also added barbecue sauce. The onion rings were excellent, crispy and full of flavor, and the burger was delicious: juicy, well cooked, and very tasty. On top of that, the restaurant itself is very nice, clean, and well maintained. Overall, a great experience. Would definitely come back.

The Dubai Chocolate Pistachio Shake stars pistachio frozen custard, blended with toasted kataifi (aka shredded phyllo dough) in a crackable dark chocolate shell.
