Love the burgers! What's better than a restaurant that sells burger and fries! I have been eating Five Guys burgers since 5 years ago when I used to live in NJ. I waited and waited and finally they opened in the Seattle area! Hurray to the owners! My little cheeseburger with everything (in black) was great. The burger tasted so delicious! If you are big eaters, either go with the regular size double patties burger or simply order two littles ones. They will fill you up. The peanuts were so-so. That's why that 1 star was taken out. Well...it was free so not going to complaint about that. Overall, a great place for lunch, afternoon snack, mid-night dinner! Cheeseburger with everything was the best! I went there for the first time and was impressed. I like how the menu lists calorie count (expect lots of calories) and so many free burger toppings (including grilled onions and mushrooms). I got a cheeseburger and large french fries with a friend. The burger was big and so tasty! I thought the bun was a bit soggy, but my friend thought it was just juicy. The fries were unusually good because you could really taste the potatoes while being thin. A bit greasy, but not overly salted like most places. They give you plenty which is nice. What struck me is that I have a sensitive stomach and this didn't upset it as I anticipated. I was left with a very happy stomach in the end. While the fries were a bit pricey, the burger was quite a deal. If you can't eat a lot there is a smaller burger. Also they serve free peanuts. read more

The burger is the run of the mill Five Guys burger. Nothing about the burger stood out at this location. I've always felt Five Guys had some good fries, and have had consistently good ones at the Issaquah location. But this location consistently churns out extremely soggy and greasy fries. It feels like their frying oil just isn't up to temperature or something. Go else where for your fries fix. Even slightly cold McD fries beats the soggy pile you get here. read more

Great burgers and great fries. I usually get regular fries that goes with my burger, and the fries are more than enough for 2 people. However, the other night when we were hungry for just fries, we decided to order the large fries, we figured if the calorie posted doubles for the large order, the quantity must be twice as large it really surprised us when the order came because the quantity was definitely smaller than the regular fries, even though they are like $5. I was really disappointed, even pre-filled up 3 ketchup cups to battle the fries but ended up not even using 2... possibilities? either the fries person that night was shy, or they don't give you as much if you don't order a burger with your fries. Moral of the story? DO NOT order LARGE FRIES! Regular fries are more than enough, and you might not get what you hoped for if you order a large one. read more

There has been some staff change in recent months (evening atleast) and currently I've started avoiding this place. Faced below issues multiple times so will just hopefully wait for next staff revamping :( - Terribly slow. Never had to wait 20+ mins on average for burger and fries! - Wrong order (and not just once). I take order to go and its no fun finding a burger with completely different toppings at home. - Bad fries - The other reviews which define how generous this place used to be with slat and seasoning isnt just true anymore. Cajun fries taste like well fries. Is seasoning that expensive? Well burger if correctly made is still good. Used to frequent this place a lot but not anymore. read more

I have eater at this location twice now and both times I would say it was pretty good for a fast food joint. Sorry Zagat, but it doesn't measure up to In and Out let alone my favorite all-time: Dicks. Single patty chesseburger with sauted onions was good and the fries were too, although there are way too many of them even in the smaller size. The service was friendly and quick both times. I think the food is a little pricey compared to other places. Will I go back? Probably will give it another try down the road becasue it's still better than the large fast food burger chains and we don't have any In and Outs and I need to go to Seattle for Dicks. read more

Had heard about five guys being only present on the east coast. I tried this today and I really like it. The fries were awesome!

I love 5 guys. Not only are they inexpensive, but their portions are big and their fries are really good. Never soggy, or overly salty. Their fast, friendly and the dinning area is kept up considering how busy it's been the times we've gone. I would recommend this place if you want a really good cheese burger. Only reason they're not getting a *****'s is because I wish they'd consider having lighter options, like a chicken burger, or turkey burgers. And maybe some other condiments like avocado, bbq sauces, chipotle or ranch. But all in all they are fast, friendly, and have great food. Cheaper than Red Robin or FatBurger, and no McD'S or BK!!! read more

The hamburgers are mediocre, the fries abundant and the music LOUD! The clerks scream at you and each other because noise level is dangerously high. They rearranged the restaurant in an annoying way. There's no more peanuts and no longer a trash can near the door. The new group of employees don't speak English well enough to understand your order much less get it correct. At least the fries were hot and a large portion. read more

I've heard all the hype and finally had a chance to visit Five Guys. "Are their burgers and fries good?" Yes, I enjoyed the taste of both. Where I think the entire experience fails is in food presentation and restaurant atmosphere. It is only natural and I have to compare Five Guys to In-N-out and Fat Burger. Both those restaurants far out perform Five Guys in regards to food presentation and restaurant atmosphere. Tips for Five Guys: 1) Don't throw my food in a bag when I am staying to eat in your restaurant. Both Fat Burger and In-N-Out take different approaches, but each give effort to food presentation. 2) Install some booths. The "all table" configuration is not comfortable at all. As the sign on the window says, this really is the best five dollar burger you can buy. Ordering is really fast and simple, and in less than five minutes you'll have food that is better than Burgermaster and other fast food places. As for the food, the burgers are really tasty, with fresh toppings and meat that is cooked well and is really juicy. The fries are thick cut and fried in peanut oil, which is way healthier than soybean/vegetable oil, which other places use. I highly recommend this place if you want a great, cheaper burger. read more

We came here on a weekday, early in the afternoon, so it was pretty empty. I'm used to the Five Guys in CA, which always has a line a mile long with a long wait for food - so this experience of no line and fast service was so great! They were nice, fast, and the burgers were great. I really hope the weekend and night experience will be the same. read more

The moment I walk into the door on 1/9/2017 @ 1:38 supposedly to be busy lunchtime, I knew that something is amiss about this supposed to be premium burger joint - there were only 2 customers and the 4 hispanic crew behind the counter were busy chatting in mexican with a big pile of of overly done fries sitting on the pan like a pile of cow poop. I got my order complete so quick and prompt as if they someone order one and decide not to pick up with, my guess was right a small fires turns out to be a brown bag with overflow super size stale fries that's probably 3-4 times more then what I order. Seems that the crew can't wait to dump the overly overdone stale luke-warm fries on me... Disgusting. I paid $11.20 for a lunch that I took 2 bites and walk right out and dump into the garbage bin - that's where it was supposed to be ! I wrote 5 Guys feedback twice -- seems that It fell on deaf ears, oh well, lesson learn. read more

I've been to the Five Guys in Northgate and one in the Dulles airport. None of them have had amazing fries, but the ones here in Redmond are the WORST! I ate about 20 of the fries as I was driving (too hungry to wait!) and feel a bit nauseous about that decision. That being said, I always love the hot dogs at Five Guys (I'm odd), and this Five Guys is no exception. Sliced in half, perfectly cooked, deliciously salty. I'd give 5 stars for the hot dog, 0 stars for the fries. About 3 stars overall. read more

While the patties were on the grill the cook took a flat handled object and smashed all the flavorful meat juices out of it. Yes this allow the meat to cook faster, because it is flatter/thinner but it kills the meat flavor. read more

Great burgers made fresh. I really like that they will make your burger sans bun, as I am trying to avoid gluten. Lots of options on how you want your burger made, and the android app is pretty sweet. I like to be able to order a burger on my phone and have it be ready when I arrive. One negative: you have to ask for your weborder when you get there and sometimes they dont come over to the pickup area for a couple minutes when there are no other orders up. read more

Their system of handling online orders is a piece of shit. If you order online, it will tell you to go straight to the pick up counter. However everyone there is heads down making burgers and assuming everyone standing at pick up counter is waiting for the in store order number to be called. Even if you tell them your name and did an online order, they can forget it in a second. Also you can order drinks online but they don't have any fucking cup ready at the pick up counter and they are always too busy to bring you one. You need to ask them twice or thrice to different people to get everything in your online order. Food is ok but this poor system makes them lose two stars. read more

Fresh made to order burgers with a plethora of toppings grilled to perfection. That's the burger you'll get here. The fries, oh the fries. Fresh cut and perfect. Fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Free peanuts while you wait. I've found that anywhere that serves free peanuts is a quality establishment. Too bad many places that used to serve peanuts don't do so any more. Something to do about slip and fall liability. Stupid lawyers. I had the regular burger with grilled mushrooms and it was deeeeelicious. I felt like a kid again as I bit into the juicy burger and I found myself actually swinging my legs while enjoying my meal, something I haven't done since I was around 10. The staff was friendly without being obsequious and they all seemed to really enjoy their job. That was good to see. Honestly can't find a reason to eat a burger anywhere else as this is as good as it gets. Best of all my buddy paid for lunch which made the meal even more perfect-er. So if you have a craving for an awesome all American meal of burger and fries, find a friend who'll take you to lunch and have a great experience here. read more

I was bummed they weren't as good here as they are in Virginia and Cali. The fries need to be cooked longer and drained better. They have great offerings for sauces but they put WAY too much of it on . Drowning in ketchup and falling apart. Sure wish we had In N Outs here. Just not so stoked about em at all read more
