I really do enjoy a location that prioritizes people. I'm human, I make errors, and today I ordered wrong. I didn't read the print and ordered a burger with mushrooms, not a fan of mushrooms. Error was my fault, all the way. When I shared the order with your colleague at Five Guys, he re-read what I ordered and I found my error. With a smile, he made me a new burger, which after the long flight I just had, gosh I appreciate him. Given my first visit to a Five Guys, sorta blown away with the portion size. Fries galore, massive burgers and a Coke machine for all the flavors. So impressed with Five Guy, I see firsthand the winning people and winning ingredients. Minus 1 star if I could ordered a shake for my son did not receive was told by manager Joe I should come and get it .. if I wanted to go there to get something, I wouldn't have ordered Uber eats and tipped somebody five dollars to bring it to me!!!!!! now I have an unhappy kid incomplete dinner none of the ketchup that I asked for. I just had lunch here and not only was the food great but the service was fantastic! I had the veggie sandwich(with cheese!) and it was perfectly prepared. The cashier offered cajon fries which were OMG good!! This Five Guys in located in a desert mall so not too busy but very friendly and helpful. I'll be back. read more

Located at the River next to the movie theater Customer service is pretty good, most employees taking your order do so patiently, so no complaints there lol Very clean inside and although when I last visited it was super busy, they kept the tables clean and surfaces wiped (super important as we are still in COVID days) I personally like Five Guys equivalent to In and Out, yes, I did just type that lol. The difference here would be price point is higher, they have peanuts, and the amount of fries they load up in your bag! Yummy! 10/10 read more

Always pretty easy to order, employees are nice and friendly. I only see the dining room messy after a group has left their seating area. Rarely any loud customers, easy to grab and go for the theaters next door. The food comes out well. The fries are always fantastic. You get more than you think you're getting, no complaints there. I wish there was A1 sauce on the side so you do not have to bother the employees. Bathrooms are usually well maintained as well. read more

First time that I've been to a five guys in a looong time. I was pleasantly surprised! The hamburgers were delicious. I had the little bacon burger and added loads of items like grilled onions and lettuce and tomatoes. There were lots of other items you can add that all are included in the cost of the burger. It cost over $20 for 2 burgers, depending on if you have cheese and/or bacon and it's more if you have 2 patties. The smaller burger was plenty for me. read more

My order was wrong twice. The fries were served soggy. I asked for fresh fries and the second time I was served soggy fries. The bathrooms are filthy, the restaurant is filthy, I will not recommend this place to anybody. The burgers did not taste well, and it fell apart right when I picked it up. Ordered a cheeseburger and fries. The restaurant was absolutely filthy. Took 49 minutes for a dime cheeseburger from an extremely rude order taker. Finally the food arrived and the fries were ice cold, oily and super salty and inedible. When asked to fix the situation she said it would be 20 minutes. This place is wack, horrendous management and needs to figure out what they are doing in business. Sad read more

I normally like Five Guys and have had nothing but good experiences at any location I've visited. But the team at this particular location went above and beyond tonight when I needed something in a pinch. I stopped by the Rancho Mirage location pretty late in the evening after a long day of sightseeing with family members and my dog (in a pet stroller to protect paws from burning and prevent exhaustion). I had packed enough of everything for her except, it turned out, food. I think the heat made her much hungrier than normal, because she was unusually hungry by the time we sat down to order dinner at a restaurant a few doors down from Five Guys. I didn't want her to just have to wait for another two hours. I thought about just going home and then thought of another option, also accepting that it might not work out. So I went over to Five Guys and was immediately greeted kindly and asked for my order. I quickly explained what I wanted. The gentleman running the restaurant was professional and kind in response. He assured me that their beef has absolutely nothing (no salt, etc.) added to it and that they'd be happy to cook two plain hamburger patties for my dog. I was thrilled. Problem easily solved--my dog would get a simplified version of her normal dinner while we're on the road. Yay. But the great service just continued. The gentleman put the cooked patties in a tin container, and he even took the time to offer me a second one for water. I had packed plenty of cool water and a designated bowl for my dog with me--but the fact that he was so thoughtful about specifically making sure there was water served along with the food just made me think that this is someone who cares about getting the customer out of the door with everything they need, which is so, so appreciated, (especially when you are caring for someone else's urgent needs, like your dog). On top of all of that, the restaurant was a clean, calm, relaxed, happy, and prompt environment, even close to closing time. The two gentlemen working were (as stated above) courteous, kind, and very hardworking. I will definitely be back at this Five Guys not only because I can grab a delicious veggie burger and fries but also because of this single awesome customer service experience. After a nice labor day weekend out at The River my child and 3 of his friends (plus his dad!) ventured to the movies followed by a visit to Five Guys to try out their "World Famous Burgers" The burgers were heaven, cooked juicy and lightly messy, wrapped nicely in a foil wrapper to keep it warm and everything made it home which is 4 miles away EXCEPT the French fries which were undercooked and soggy, horribly prepared and couldn't be enjoyed. I spent over $88 for six cheeseburgers and six fries. I called the number for the restaurant on my receipt but the phone just rang and rang. I called again today and the person who answered the phone said he'd have a manager call me back today. Well, sad to say nobody called me back and when I called again just a few minutes ago I was told that "the manager went home". As a full time resident and frequent customer of Five Guys I'm appalled at their lack of customer service. I never think about Five Guys unless it pops up right in front of my face, but I like it well enough for a quick burger meal. It's less tasty and more expensive than In-N-Out, but it usually hits the spot. My husband and I spent a weekend at the Omni in Rancho Mirage, across the street from the mall containing this location. We ended up coming to Five Guys two days in a row, once for lunch on our way in, and once just to feed my picky husband while I got comped hotel food. Not the most creative way to eat, I know, but fast and satisfying enough. This place was like every Five Guys I've ever been to, clean and bright with peanut shells on the floor, a neat patio to eat in the sun. There was a fancy new soda fountain. Counter service was quick and friendly, and we ate outside. I had a Little Cheeseburger with a bunch of toppings, I think pickles, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, green peppers, and Bar-B-Q sauce. I do love the toppings free-for-all available at Five Guys. The grilled mushrooms are particularly clutch. This was a solid cheeseburger, though it fell apart towards the end as it always does. The bun isn't built to hold everything. My husband got the Little Bacon Cheeseburger, and we shared an order of fries. I sometimes forget that the order of fries is incredibly large--note to self, always split the small. The fries are probably the best part of Five Guys, though, and the one area in which it completely bests In-N-Out. Crispy, well seasoned, and very fresh. We figured we'd FINALLY give this burger joint some love. I have heard good things including comparisons to another chain. IMHO, that to and fro' argument ended today. I was extremely impressed with what I ordered. A Double Meat Bacon Burger, with lettuce/onion/pickles/mustard & ketchup. The patties were FRESH, flavorful and so JUICY. The fixins' were also above the standard. We also requested a LARGE fries to share and following the first morsel I wanted to HOARD them ALL!! Okay, I did share but they were WICKED good. The fries were more substantial in heft AND registered a 10 on my taste bud meter. We did WAIT for our order but the quality and price were higher. I really second guessed any reviews touting these burgers as the best but I have awoken from a deep slumber. This is one of the few locations that can make Five Guys a poor experience. The burgers are generally fine, but I've given up on the fries. I've also ZERO need to be hung up on and then chastised by a man(ager) child to "be more detailed next time" when I call to make an order adjustment (+ cheese please). Is it worth it? I'll let you decide. I was in the area and thought it wasn't out of the way. My first impression - LOUD! Really heavy rotten roll blaring from the loudspeakers. I was tempted to turn around and leave, but I was already there, so why not? Also, signs everywhere bragging about how great they are. A bit tacky, IMO. Well, they can custom-build your burger, so that's the good part. You want mayo, lettuce, tomato, grilled onions, mushrooms, BBQ sauce, A-1® Steak Sauce, hot sauce, jalapeño peppers? Gotcha covered. I thought the regular cheeseburger ($7.69) at 840 calories was a bit too caloric - and expensive - for me, so I got the Little Cheeseburger ($5.80) and only 550 calories. And a regular drink for $2.59. No fries - I want to keep my girlish figure. So - It was good. But I spent $9.05 for lunch. I can spend about that much for both my wife and myself at In-N-Out, Carl's Jr., Burger King or Jack in the Box. So, I don't think it's worth the extra cost. Sorry, 5G fans. read more

This place went downhill since my last visit, food was still good but that was about it. Total time to get food from walking in the door at 12:30pm took 45ish minutes. Little over 30 minutes after ordering. There was one person cooking, one person prepping, one person at the register. Having more people during lunch hour should be something of the norm. If you want to go get some 5 guys during a lunch break on a week day expect to spend the majority of the time waiting for your food. The burger and Cajun fries were really good, what can I say. They take raw ground beef and cook it, which is unique to fast food places. The fries were nice and hot, it's always great getting fresh fries which this place is great about doing. The cleanliness of the place was not very good where all the tables were. The 3 workers there you can tell we're trying to work fast and were very busy which leaves nobody to clean. Not their fault you can only do so much with 3 people during a busy lunch hour. So with the mentioned above I was going to leave a 3 star rating for average, but walking into the restrooms made me decide to only rate 2 stars. The men's restroom has one toilet and one urinal. The urinal was clogged and urine was near the edge of it almost falling to the floor, very gross to look at after having some good fast food. The regular toilet was not in good shape either. Floor had wet spots all over, sink was in bad shape too. I don't have high expectations for fast food joints. If you feel like having some 5 guys while at the river I think it's best to wait till the weekend when they operate better. read more
