Five Guys in Poway. Inside Dining and outside patio to the right. Plenty good chillin'!!!

13.99 for a combo and for a couple extra dollars I got a patty melt. However, wrapped in aluminum, by the time it reached the table, the grilled bread had become soft from moisture. Perhaps wrapped in the normal paper wrapping it wouldn't absorb as much. "Dunno?!?!" And how about a tray instead of a bag you have to tear at the table to make a placemat of sorts. Too messy! Otherwise food was tasty and staff was attentive or I may have given 3 stars... So be it...

recently visited the Five Guys in Poway, and overall, it was a great experience. The cashier was incredibly friendly and took the time to explain the prices and menu, which was a nice touch. It definitely didn't feel like a typical fast-food experience. I've worked in fast food before, and this was on another level in terms of service. Now, onto the food. The burgers? Absolutely amazing. Juicy, flavorful, and well worth ordering. Honestly, I should've just gotten two because they were that good. The hot dog, though? Not worth it. Way too overpriced. I could make the same thing at home for a couple of bucks. The fries were okay; they're fresh and made from real potatoes, but let's be honest, what fries aren't? Nothing particularly special about them. The restaurant itself was decently clean. The bathrooms weren't spotless, but they weren't terrible either. Just some stuff on the floor, which is pretty standard. One thing I really appreciated was how disability-friendly the location is. They even have separate tables designed for accessibility, which is a thoughtful touch. Now, the biggest downside: the price. I paid nearly $50 for two hamburgers, one hot dog, one order of fries, and a milkshake. That's pretty crazy for fast food. While the quality is great, it's definitely on the expensive side. Would I go back? Probably. Next time, I'm skipping the hot dog and just doubling up on the burgers. Rating: (4/5) Great food and service, but a bit too pricey.

Laid back no-frills atmosphere, has outdoor seating too. Great burgers and fries and not too expensive.

First time trying five guys in a while and I forgot that their regular burgers come with two patties. If you're not huge on meat, the little burgers are recommended because those only have one patty. The fries are super good, and I think I would say they're better than most fast food places! Come for the fries!

If you don't have small cups and FORCE us to get a larger drink...not sure why we should have to pay for that. Absolutely silly.

$18.89 for the worst burger of all time. It says 13.99 on the menu and then they charge you an extra 2.80 for cheese. Huge bummer.

Does this place allow smoking in their outside seating area? I have really bad allergies to second hand smoke but prefer eating outside

Officially, smoking is not allowed in the outside patio area. However, the employees have little to no power to enforce the Poway City Ordinance. I've never seen anyone smoke in the patio area, but it's always possible that an uncouth customer may… Read more

If it's a small order they usually have some lumpia's ready to go. What I like about this place is that it's more than just a food establishment--it's also a Filipino market filled with snacks, drinks, frozen foods, and ingredients. The setup is simple, but it's packed with Filipino goodies. The lumpia is my go-to order for gatherings, but they also offer party trays of pancit, adobo, sisig, lechon kawali, turon, and other Filipino favorites. They offer meat or vegetable lumpia. My hubby perfers the vegtable and I like the meat. I noticed they have seasonal halo-halo available during the summer. The staff has always been friendly during my visits. There is decent amount of parking. Payments: * Cash * Debit card/credit card If you use a card there is a 3.85% fee ** If you catering is over $200 you must pay with cash** Whether you're picking up food for a family gathering, church event, potluck, or just craving Filipino comfort food, this is a spot worth checking out. The fish taco was satisfying and delicious. Paired with the fish and chips, it was a great and affordable lunch. The fish was crisp and flaky and they provided a mountain of fries to go with it. They inciuded all the fixings to go with the fish. Plenty of tartar and cocktail sauce and limes. I was impressed with this place The service was outstanding as well. Friendly and efficient. And the staff will take your order. I got... 2 fish tacos (surprise) and some chips and a Diet Coke ... under 7 bucks! If you're traveling with a service dog, they have mostly high tops inside, so, take a seat outside. Which is also quite lovely. They have a fun vibe inside. About 6 high tops and 2 lower 4 top tables. Outside they have three picnic tables WITH umbrella!! Brisas was my server and she was very nice! Let's talk chips. They are served warm and have a good amount of salt. The salsa are green and red and are pretty standard heat and quality you'd expect of a San Diego taco shop. Fish tacos, were as expected. Small corn tortillas, shredded cabbage, fried fish, onion, tomato, cilantro and fresh lime. You cannot beat this price for fish tacos! And they are something I would eat again! As I rank fish tacos based on taste, this is the average expectation of a taco, making it a 3. On par with the Villa on Grand (3) or Rubios (at a fraction of the price) . It is not as memorable as Taco Craft. For the price and quality combined 4.5! I also had opportunity to try the chicken and cheese quesadilla. That was yummy!
