I visited this location for the first time and don't come often but Steven was awesome! He made so many great suggestions and was very patient! His recommendations did not disappoint, everything was delicious! read more

Still loving this place!!!! About 90% of the time I order on the app (super easy) and we get it to go. Although everytime we come in to pick up the food staff are friendly and the place is clean. Recently came in to try the new rice bowls. I ordered the mild chicken rice bowl. It is drizzled with chipotle ranch. I was a bit hesitant about it at first but it was actually really good. Gave it a unique flavor. Looking forward to trying the sweet chili rice bowl next! read more

I think almost everything is well put together here, they have sports to watch with good volume, they have great seating, great service, great food but it's just a little pricey in comparison to the amount of food you get but the sauce is really good so maybe that makes it worth it, either way it's a consistent wing spot read more

Can't go wrong with the 4 piece tenders (garlic mild sauce) with ranch and a Modelo. Delicious! read more

Epic fries never misses. Service is always lovely, whether eating out or eating inside the restaurant.

Located in a popular shopping center, we stopped in to try them out and were not disappointed. The wings are great! Getting to pick from several sauces definitely hits the spot. Service is good. You come in and order at the front, take a number and find a table. Within minutes your food is being delivered to your table. A couple of spot checks were made by the staff to see if everything is good, etc. Ambiance is very much directed at sports. This location has several big screens to take in a game or highlights. read more

Had a wonderful experience at this location. One of the employees named steven let me know about a flavor combo that turned out to be the best thing i've ever gotten from epic wings. Also gave a sample of some cinnamon bites that were great. Overall 10/10 experience will be going back read more

Always great everytime we go here. Steven was awesome and put us onto the cinna bites. Didn't even know they had them but they're super good! read more

My family and I love coming here, the restaurant is so impeccably clean and the service is very attentive. I want to specially give a shout out to Katelyn for her outstanding service and the way she runs the show! I will most definitely be coming back to this location for all my future wings cravings! read more

Steven was great. Love this location wish they had Greek salad only Clairemont location

Pleasant dining experience at this location. I was greeted immediately upon entering. My order came out before the quoted time. There was some music playing at very tolerable volume not so loud you can't carry on a conversation like some places. The food was tasty and had plenty of sauce. read more

Great staff, great atmosphere, good beer, and lots of sports, ...even Euro one sometimes. Prices could be a tad cheaper, anf it'd be nice if they had Happy-Hour, and maybe some salads for the health conscious friends in the group. Otherwise, the Carmel Mountain Epic wings is the best of the bunch in San Diego ! read more

Tyler was awesome and helpful. I got the single meal medium and it was the best! I'll be back

What went well, everything! From the time we walked in and were needed by Naomi, to the cooking staff who cooked amazing wings and the ice cold beer that was served by Kaitlyn, who by the way is doing an amazing job managing the place from start to finish just a great job by everyone. I commend the owner and the franchise for keeping a place like this open to its community. These types of places make the difference but it's the people who truly make the difference happy holidays and take care. JG read more

They leave the wings floating in way too much oil/sauce. And that's not good because that stuff doesn't have the best flavor and it leaves a gross aftertaste. Customer service is good. Doesn't take them long to prepare walk-in orders. Parking can be tough. Prices are a bit inflated but understandable. 12 wings, 4 bread sticks and 1 small soda cost me $30. Bread sticks are good but not as good as they were back when they first came on scene years and years ago. They taste more doughy now and there's not that garlicky/buttery flavor they used to have. Honestly I doubt I return. But that's just my personal preference and not really based on anything they deliberately did. I do recommend they stop leaving wings floating in so much oil. I prefer my wings to be practically dry. read more

I was surprised to see Wings N Things switch to Epic Wings. What a disappointment to be honest. For a restaurant with a full kitchen, this has got to be the Worlds most limited menu with no combos. I have eaten at Wings N Things, but I will not continue to eat here due to the limited selection and prices. Wing Stop offers a great selection, hair prices and great specials. read more

Wings were on point but 1 of the 2 staff shouldn't work here. The two staff were completely different. You could tell the one woman did not want to be there and her nastiness showed it. The other lady knew it and did her best to isolate the other one from the customers. Once I got my food it was worth dealing with the nasty lady. As long as she didn't do anything to my food I would come back again. read more

I can't get myself to call it Epic Wings. It will always be Wings N Things to me. I've been eating Wings N Things since it's original location on Garnet. I absolutely love their buffalo sauce & compare every other buffalo sauce to this place. I guess you can say it's Epic! read more

Customer service was good. Wings were good, breadsticks were kinda bland. Not a bad place to go if options are limited. read more

The food here is really great. The breadsticks are honestly most of the reason that people come here. Be sure to get at least two sauces on your wings (one level of buffalo and one other sauce). The service and atmosphere could be better. The tables are rather sticky and the whole place is feeling a little run down these days. read more

A little dissatisfied with online take out orders here. The menu is very simple, maybe 10 items? 6 sauces for most items? Recent order had the wrong sauce type. Previous order missing extra ranch. That wasn't enough to warrant a lower review, but now it seems systemic. With online ordering probably more occurring than in person, this location needs to do something about the accuracy. The product (tenderloins and bread) is so good! Get the orders right, or it is irrelevant of the food is good. read more

Forever one of our favorite wing spots in San Diego! The staff are friendly and accommodating. Get the strips!! Ambience is great! Love all of the TV's. Food is incredible, as always. read more

love Wings & Things!! my favorite place to eat when I am on Carmel Mountain Road! the food is always fresh & made to order. i feel like family when I eat lunch or dinner & the huge TVs are great! Kaitlyn is so sweet always the best customer service Steven is also so friendly & knows his customers well! highly recommended this restaurant great food & fun atmosphere! read more

They don't take phone orders between 4-8pm and the online ordering won't allow you to have more than one sauce type which is a basic part of a party pack order. Wings used to be good, but customer service gets worse by the week. read more

I don't usually leave reviews but my experience here on Tuesday, July 29 was horrible. Ordered wings online, came at the indicated time and stood there for an additional hour waiting! People who ordered after me were getting their orders before me! What's worse was I couldn't wait any longer and left without even getting my food! I'll say the only positive was that I was able to get a refund (if you call that a positive since I left hungry and had to go find other food). I'm sorry the lady at the register was dealing with all the hungry customers but you can't blame us - we showed up at the prescribed time and had to wait at least 1 hour longer... read more

I've been coming here for years and this is my favorite place to have lunch or dinner! The staff is amazing and the food is always delicious!! The staff is very attentive and always caters to your needs!! They always have the good games on and have good music playing if there's not a game! 20/10 would recommend coming here!!! read more

We ordered wings for the Super Bowl. We placed the order the day before the game with a pick up time of 3pm the day of the game. We showed up at 3 and were told they're currently calling the orders for 230. Organization was dismal, a complete mess. Our order came out around 330. When we got home and opened the order we noticed the order looked light. We ordered the party pack, 48 wings. We got 40 wings and they were the tiny pigeon wings at that. For $80+ this is a complete rip off, that's $2 a wing for what should be 25 cent wings. This place used to be decent. But prices have gone up while quality has gone down. read more

Small wings, little meat. Anywhere can beat these wings. Sauce is good. Breadsticks are really good.

Thought these were some of the worst wings I've ever had. They're so tough. I barely could get any meat of the bones. Breadsticks were just okay. Thought the Hot sauces was just Franks Red Hot. read more

I used to love wings and things. Sauces are great, chicken is always decent. But the service is straight up disrespectful. I was standing in line and was straight up ignored by the counter person for some reason. They need to train these kids better in customer service especially if I'm paying these high cost for chicken wings. read more

My kid and his friends love this place. It's usually busy. Staff is generally friendly. Service is on par. It's a fun place for winging it. read more

We have been buying chicken strip dinners from this owner for over 30 years now. They started in Mira Mesa and have branched out to Penasquitos. We have never gotten a bad product in all that time, but evidently times are changing. We stopped by today and picked up a 20 piece strip family pack and requested it be extra wet which means extra sauce. What we got wasn't even enough sauce to eat 10 pieces. It was the least amount of sauce we have ever received (picture attached). Do yourself a favor and make sure you check your take out order carefully because you can't trust them to get it right anymore. We've known the owner of this establishment for a long time and he will be informed about this lack of effort on his employees part. read more

Andy, you're a star. A young man by the name of Andy attended to me and my girlfriend today as if we were family. What an extremely polite young man! Despite having some issues with the manager during our interaction, Andy was there to put a smile on our faces and ensure the remainder of our dining experience was top tier. As always the food is delicious, but it's the people that work there that make the establishment worth going back to. Andy is wholeheartedly the reason we will be coming back, possibly even more frequently than before! If anyone sees this, give this man a raise. The service industry is difficult, and he managed to navigate it with ease. Thank you Andy and keep up the great work. read more

Literally the most flavorless place I've ever eaten. The chicken tastes like nothing without the sauce on but I didn't love my lemon pepper sauce either. The fries and bread gave absolutely no flavor to them. Personally not a fan of the food here. Employees were kind and helpful though. read more

Ordered some pizza sticks and halfway through the meal my stomach started to hurt a little and realized the bread was still undercooked, which is what I exactly told what seemed like the manager . He proceeded to tell me that it sometimes comes out like that and how he gets it "Extra Crispy" for that exact reason, and how I should next time order it "Extra Crispy" just so that doesn't happen again rather than compensating me. Thanks moron, if I had known the bread was gonna come out undercooked I would've totally just asked the cashier to make sure they cook it all the way read more

One of our family favorites. Nice place to catch a game, great food, great staff. Highly recommend!

I have been coming here for 10 years now and can say that this place does serve good chicken. The quality of the food has remained consistent besides the breadsticks. For whatever reason I feel like they were the most tastiest things on the menu, but now I feel that they taste a chewier and dry. The pricing has increased drastically and I find that to be a reason why there is not as much business as before. I suggest getting whatever spice level you normally get: if that is mild/medium/hot WITH lemon pepper AND garlic. Mix a sauce with a dry rub for a truly tasty meal! read more

I have been coming here for a few years. This is my favorite location. They get the chicken, sauce and breadsticks right. I get the boneless chicken wings with mild sauce (sometimes medium) and with lemon pepper mixed together. I ask for extra crispy chicken and all carrots. If you forgo the veggies all together they give you an extra breadstick. read more
