However, I think they may need to train or retrain some of the staff there because when trying to call our order in for pick up they were very confusing on the phone. Otherwise, the fries are always fresh everybody has a positive and happy demeanor, the burgers are juicy and delicious and my mom adores their milkshakes. I had a late lunch today and stopped at the Nixon Drive Five Guys across from the Moorestown Mall. Ordered a Cheeseburger (double patty) and drink (no fries). I haven't eaten a Five Guys burger in years (literally) and this was a very good burger sandwich. I love how you can choose your toppings but wish they put the toppings on the top, not the bottom of the sandwich, where it falls out of the buns more often. Anyway, I'm a fan even though I don't eat red meat very often. I would go back again. Their soda machine is the new computerized version, so you have a touch screen selecting dozens of choices now, and even different flavors (vanilla, orange, grape, etc.). read more

THIS IS A QUALITY BURGER THAT LEAVES YOU FEELING LIKE TRUE HAPPINESS. The location itself is pretty standard for a five guys. They have peanuts and all the regular stuff. Came here on a Sunday around 1PM and there were a good amount of people (about 6 different parties). I waited about 10 minutes for my order to be made, but can't really complain because I was busy snacking on peanuts. This 5 guys is pretty clean as well, all the tables were wiped and the floor was clean too. I know some 5 guys can be a bit grimey, but this one felt quite new (it might be pretty new actually, but I'm not 100% sure). My wife and I went there today, ordered a bacon burger, grilled cheese, milkshake and small fry to go. Got home and the burger was great, fry a little cold but expected but the grilled cheese was disgusting! It was basically a flattened upside down burger roll with 1 slice of cheese that cost $4.50. I have not been here since they first opened. I ordered 2 cheeseburgers and a medium fries online. My order was ready as soon as I walked in the door. The burgers were delicious. They were not greasy and seasoned perfectly. The fries however were soggy to the point that the grease was leaking through the bag. In the head-to-head burger throwdown of Five Guys vs. Elevation Burger, Five Guys took 2nd place. Or last place, depending on how you look at it. Heres the greasy details... Five guys brought the bigger gun to this showdown, however, bigger is not always better as I soon learned. In this case, the larger Five Guys burger proved to be just mediocre, at best. It wasnt nearly as juicy as the competition, although it was slightly better seasoned. Chalk that up to the policy of cooking everything well-done. Five Guys even uses "juicy" and "well done" in the same sentence on every menu board in their restaurants, in an effort to convice you this is possible. I respectfully disagree though, pointing to the reliance on multiple patties, melted cheese, and free toppings to create the illusion of moist, "juicy" texture. It probably doesnt matter to the masses though, as most people slather their burgers in ketchup, mayo, or whatever. However, the difference was obvious as daylight in this comparo, and should be noted. The american cheese used was plentiful and nicely melted, but lacked the exotic appeal of the vermont cheddar the competition featured. The grilled onions I had specified though were barely grilled at all, which seriously altered the flavor profile of this burger, not to mention added a crunch I didnt care for. Overall, the Five Guys burger was just OK by itself, but it was borderline disappointing when compared to the Elevation burger. After sampling both, I still wanted to go back and have another bite of that Elevation burger. In identical configurations, at identical prices, Five Guys didnt stack up to Elevation. However, while not offically considered in this comparison, Five Guys also allows a higher degree of customization with the availability of bacon and condiments like BBQ sauce - 2 things the competition lacks. read more

For burgers, you have two options either a large or small- the difference is the amount of patties, large = 2 and small = 1. Fries also come in a variety of sizes, the sizes are really generous and easily shared. Five Guys does not offer any coupons, they don't discount their prices because they won't discount their food quality. The store is clean and the staff is friendly. I give 5 guys 5 stars compared to other burger places. I like that I can order a single, double or more. Sometimes I just can't do a half pound burger without a nap. The burgers I believe aren't frozen and only slightly greasy. I like some grease. The bun fits perfect and doesn't fall apart. I love the customization options. You don't get as many choices at other places. I switch from mushrooms, grilled onions, peppers to traditional LTO. I save bacon for breakfast LOL. There is always a perfect sear on the burgers (sear is important and IMHO under rated) and the toppings are always fresh and taste great. The extra fries they throw in the bag and the peanuts you have a great experience. Btw the fries are very good and fresh. Five Guys is definitely famous for their burgers and fries and people truly do love their food. They offer up free peanuts to munch on while you wait and give you an almost unlimited amount of burger toppings to choose from. The fries are fresh cut and the location of their potatoes are usually posted in the store. The patties are fresh as well and are not frozen prior to cooking. The customer service at this location is really good. Friendly people and fast service goes a long way for a fast food joint. The burgers and fries tend to be on the large size and super greasy. Over all the food just seems too much and caters more to the "give me more food instead of better food" crowd. It's truly unnecessary to dump an extra scope of fries on the bottom of my bag. At first I though, "wow cool, extra fries" but then sooner realized that all that does is create a huge greasy spot on the bag eliminating my ability to put it down on anything that I care about. And besides, I can NEVER eat all the fries anyway so it just goes to waste. If you're craving a greasy but well cooked burger with a ton of fries - Five Guys will not disappoint. If you are looking for food with a little more integrity then this isn't the place for you. read more

There was an uneven distribution of the toppings & condiments. There are times when a sloppy sandwich is good. This was not one of those times. I think this place has one of the tastiest burgers!! I got the Bacon Burger with grilled onions!!! And while we're at it, I didn't remember that you can get almost WHATEVER topping you'd like or get ALL (crazy) the toppings on your burger(s). But if you get all of the toppings available, I think you might have a hard time biting into the monstrosity, so be warned!
