Regular Cajun Fries - good portion, enough seasoning, cooked through but soft

Ordered via app for pickup. Veggie sandwich with cheese is $6. Followed all the add on toppings and made correctly. Regular Cajun fries were well seasoned and cooked through, although soft but not crispy. Order was not ready and had to wait 15 min after pickup time. Not a great value for veggie sandwich.

My wife and I went there today, ordered a bacon burger, grilled cheese, milkshake and small fry to go. Got home and the burger was great, fry a little cold but expected but the grilled cheese was disgusting! It was basically a flattened upside down burger roll with 1 slice of cheese that cost $4.50. The cost is one thing but it was disgusting. Everything else was good but definitely stay away form the greed cheese ICK!!

I have not been here since they first opened. I ordered 2 cheeseburgers and a medium fries online. My order was ready as soon as I walked in the door. The burgers were delicious. They were not greasy and seasoned perfectly. The fries however were soggy to the point that the grease was leaking through the bag. I prefer my fries to be crispy but there was no option for that on the web app. All in all a good experience and I loved the burgers. Cook those fries a little longer.

In the head-to-head burger throwdown of Five Guys vs. Elevation Burger, Five Guys took 2nd place. Or last place, depending on how you look at it. Heres the greasy details... Five guys brought the bigger gun to this showdown, however, bigger is not always better as I soon learned. In this case, the larger Five Guys burger proved to be just mediocre, at best. It wasnt nearly as juicy as the competition, although it was slightly better seasoned. Chalk that up to the policy of cooking everything well-done. Five Guys even uses "juicy" and "well done" in the same sentence on every menu board in their restaurants, in an effort to convice you this is possible. I respectfully disagree though, pointing to the reliance on multiple patties, melted cheese, and free toppings to create the illusion of moist, "juicy" texture. It probably doesnt matter to the masses though, as most people slather their burgers in ketchup, mayo, or whatever. However, the difference was obvious as daylight in this comparo, and should be noted. The american cheese used was plentiful and nicely melted, but lacked the exotic appeal of the vermont cheddar the competition featured. The grilled onions I had specified though were barely grilled at all, which seriously altered the flavor profile of this burger, not to mention added a crunch I didnt care for. Overall, the Five Guys burger was just OK by itself, but it was borderline disappointing when compared to the Elevation burger. After sampling both, I still wanted to go back and have another bite of that Elevation burger. In identical configurations, at identical prices, Five Guys didnt stack up to Elevation. However, while not offically considered in this comparison, Five Guys also allows a higher degree of customization with the availability of bacon and condiments like BBQ sauce - 2 things the competition lacks.

I stopped in with a coworker today for lunch. It wasnt overly crowded, but the staff moved the patrons through the order and pay process pretty fast. I got the Bacon Cheeseburger, double and regular sized fries. I was hungry and when I finished my lunch I was satisfied! This Five Guys has a really friendly staff. I keep saying I will try their hot dog on my next visit. Maybe the next visit I will do that instead of a burger.

Other Five Guys I have been to have been packed with customers and lines out the door. This one was practically empty when I was there, ordering was quick and easy. Because they make your burger and fries made to order they take just a little bit longer than most fast food places. This isn't a bad thing. The food is typical of Five Guys, no big surprise there. They have the Coke dispensing machine that allows you to pick or create almost any flavor of soda.

Location is in a strip mall with a few other eateries and stores . It was alot going on. As mentioned it was a Saturday and many patrons were coming in to order takeout or picking up orders. It was their 5th anniversary of the business opening. There was a DJ and a podcaster, videographer and cameraman onsite doing a food review. There was also a toy drive and if you brought a toy you got to spin a wheel to win a prize. The establishment is small so with the DJ and podcaster/ entourage and the toy drive there was not much seating available. The wait was extremely long. I had to ask an employee to check my order status twice each time she never came back with update. We were there for about an hour. I saw an order come up waited about 15 min then asked them to check if that was my order and it was. The food was not hot, they didn't give me the signature sauce that came with my order. The strawberry lemonade was delicious, the wings were decent, the fish sandwich and fish platter both looked amazing but was just OK. Didn't care for the sweet potato fries. I truly think it was because the food wasn't hot and the fries had wilted. The set up inside is a bit off with the ordering kiosk right in front of bar stool seating. The kiosk should probably be in the corner on the right side when you first walk in. Away from where folks sit and eat. It's distracting when you're sitting at a stool and the line is long with folks ordering and waiting for take out orders. I would try them again but on a day when there isn't so much going on to get the real experience of the quality of food. I ordered a fish platter, 10 wings, sweet potato fries , strawberry lemonade and a small fountain drink. My friend ordered the fish sandwich, fried shrimp platter and two can sodas.

It is a captivating piece of Jersey. It is well epitomized by The Hot Dog Shack and its menu board of more than two dozen customized frankfurter possibilities. I was Anthony's first customer of the day, and he treated me well. I went with his Chicago Dog (see photo) which came as described and was a mouthful to consume. I had to apply pressure and squeeze this creation down to a size that fit into my mouth from first bite to last. All beef wiener, potato roll and a side table for garnish. He even made me a cup of coffee on the house. Fun deliciousness all the way. And the surrounding buildings were just as charming and worthy of closer inspection. The cafe next door had some worthy looking baked goods that would have made a nice dessert had I the time to sit in their lovely parlor and indulge. Next time, for sure. I also had a fascinating conversation while I ate my hot dog, with Anthony's friend, Steve, who had been a minor league baseball star both in the USA and Europe. I saw old clippings about his success, and compared notes about living overseas; he as an athlete. Me as a student and businessman. That conversation made my day. So, although I stopped by for a hot dog, I left with something even more priceless - a totally unexpected meeting that was richer than I could have imagined when I woke up this morning. 5 Stars for the Dog and Conversation.

My frankfurter was handed to me by a cook in a cool cardboard box. I felt the warmth of the dog and the heft of all the elote, crema and queso. I was glad it was hot because I had an hour drive home before I would get to consume it. Yes. I loved every bite. The hot dog was pleasantly garlicy with a snap from my incisors. The roll held up its end of the bargain with no loss of support for its contents. The corn mix was cheesy while sweet from the kernels. They picked a perfect spot in Bristol Borough that they seemed to have partnered with Naked Brewing on. If you have kids the downstairs area is ok, but with live music I had to take my son upstairs to preserve our hearing! We found parking in the large municipal lot behind the building. Upstairs we found cozier seating at a high top table with service. Downstairs I believe you have to walk up to the bar or just sit at the bar for service. I also don't believe the full beer menu is available downstairs. The menu is full of tempting toppings and styles with your choice of regular/footlong dogs, hot sausage or kielbasa. I had a hot sausage with pepper hash and coleslaw. It had a snappy skin, decent heat and was delicious when paired with the sweet coleslaw and pepper hash. My friend ordered frank and tots and reported it to be delicious and filling. My son had a regular dog and we all shared a big pretzel with beer cheese. I had an IPA named Thank Frank that was about average for a West Coast style IPA and my pal had a couple of their darker offerings that he wasn't impressed with. Our server was nice and gave a great recommendation to add the pepper hash. She wasn't the fastest at coming to check on our beers so we bailed. I had one and she never asked if I wanted another and never refilled our waters. Prices weren't too bad. I would definitely return for some more of the interesting creations on the dawg menu, but the brews are really nothing special. Good solid time here and kid friendly, not so great service or beer.

We got our pups to go, tried the first bite as we stepped outside, and 3 dogs were gone before we made it back to the car. This place is SPECTACULAR, and I don't use that term lightly. We came minutes before closing and the workers greeted us like long lost family, asking about our day and where we were from.
