I've never found a Five Guys that disappointed me. The quality and simplicity is universal. A massive quantity of fries - you want to get that cajun seasoning too. Pour some into the fry bag and shake it all up. The burgers are a good size, too. Nice and juicy with a ton of topping options. I always go for the grilled shrooms and onions, add barbecue sauce. I'll even spring for one of their milkshakes from time to time. The only negative is their high pricing, making the experience not so frequent, but always worth it. read more

I got 2 little burgers. Lettuce tomato pickles and ketchup mustard cut in half...very simple basic burgers. Took over 25 mins to get them and once I did they weren't cut in half they were sloppy and falling apart very poorly assembled burgers. Found a hair in my food. Could not enjoy because burgers were completely wet and squishy falling apart. 19th location needs to step it up this is bs read more

Five Guys is always great, no matter the State! Fresh burgers, generous fries. Staff is young, quick and friendly. If you get a shake, make sure to remind them; they never remember, but will whip it out asap. I love 5 guys! read more

Burgers, excellent. Fries, delicious, with an amazing amount in the bag. Shakes, creamy & awesome. The downside is I cannot breathe after the indulgence. So, I do not eat here often. Love 5 Guys! read more

I've actually heard a lot of good things about five guys and to be fair the food itself was pretty alright. Service was good, ambiance of an old diner is kinda overused (I mean it's fine but I don't get the hype). Let's start with the great, the fries are as amazing as most people say, the Cajun fries are iconic for a reason. They pack the bag full of the stuff (which I know is company policy, it's a trick to make you feel lucky, when literally every single time it happens). But that's about where the praise ends. The burgers were... ok? The shake I got was also pretty alright, not the best but good. With all this said, this review sounds like it should be a 3 star or maybe even a 4 star, but it's not for one reason... Value. One meal (burger, fries, drink) cost $20 which is actually kinda insane, that's twice the price of pretty much any other burger place I've been. Even at a sit down restaurant where I get service and the burgers are massive it's only around $15. So the food was pretty alright but for how much I spent, it should have been miraculous. No one else mentions this, it's maddening. 6/15 Get the fries, nothing else is worth it. And if you only have one good item, just become a fry place. read more

The food is great just way over priced. This employee was rude, got mad when we asked questions about the food and what all we can put on a burger. First time here and spend $48 for 2 burgers, 2 fries, and 2 drinks to get treated like a pos. He watched us the entire meal like we did something wrong. Definitely stay away from this location or come back when he's not here. read more

Five Guys - Young man on the left his very hateful and gives off threatening vibes. - Burgers Near Me - Lubbock, Texas

The food was okay, but I puked eating the burger. The service was good, and it has a super nice interior. Quite pricey overall, and I wouldn't really recommend. read more

Pretty good. But definitely not worth 14 a burger. Not including fries or drink. Idc how good it is.

I would give no stars. This is the second time we have been in this location in the last month. The manager women, I don't know her name(heavy set women) was yelling at the employee in a very nasty demeanor. She was also talking about how someone came in one minute before closing and wanted fries. She talks down to her employee's . I walked across the street to Qdoba to eat, where the manager and employees were very friendly and helpful. read more

Solid BURGER AND FRIES! Same quality, same product all across the country. It is an awesome treat to get handed your medium-largish brown bag, greased through with a huge cup of fries in there. The burger all the way is the best way to go. Acidity from the mustard and pickles with the sweetness of the grilled onions and tomatoes takes the meaty patty over the top. American fast food at its finest read more

Great food! My husband love the burger and I love the grill cheese. Their fries are the best

The burgers are fresh, and made in a timely manner. Employees are extremely friendly and make sure to tell bye when you leave =]. Drink area gets a little crowded when lots of people are present, and they unfortunately don't have any ranch. read more

See all

Had many five guys burgers. This one was not good. Bland at best. Didn't taste like a five guys burger. Especially not worth $21.

Ordered 5 burgers for our fam. Excellent burgers fries on the other hand where supper greasy and tasteless even Cajun fries . Will get burgers again but not fries read more

Always quick service and welcoming staff. Wonderful burgers. Love to have them on our cheat days.

Food was good but the employees were yelling at each other arguing with guest eating. One lady started screaming for someone to come and help her I get that it's five guys but that just trashy and annoying read more

Burgers and fries are excellent. Every visit. I have no doubt, even the only Zagat rated restaurant in Lubbock has its off days but never when I've been here. The prices aren't outrageous. A family of 4 can eat for 30-35$. The atmosphere is pretty plain and it's entirely too loud but I can deal with it for the excellent food. The burgers are double patty unless you ask for a single or just order a small burger. The fries are fresh and delicious. Side note: they are plentiful so you don't need a large unless you're a glutton for punishment like me and stuff your face until you hate yourself. Overall it's a great place for burgers and fries. read more

Milkshakes here are terrible! Go across the street to Steak and Shake. The girl who made it basically handled me a cup of milk with Carmel flavor added. There was nothing about this that said it was a $4 milkshake. When I asked why it wasn't thicker she just had a dumb look on her face and said "sorry". Won't be coming back to this location any time soon. read more

This place is outstanding. They have the best customer service, their burgers are amazing, their coke machine rocks and this place is very clean. They are consistent and this is one of my favorite stops in Lubbock. read more

This place has gone down hill. Food taste microwaveable. They are along the likes of Steak and Shake and Freddy's, that's not a compliment either. I was hoping to add this place to my list of best burger joints in town. The food was slop, we were rushed to order, wasn't busy either. Fry cook was smacking on gum. Save your money people, go to Blue Sky, Spanky's or Cooper Drive in, this place is a joke. read more

We love the fries, especially the Cajun ones! Mmmm You have to try them. They're vegan friendly too! I just wish they had more vegan options. read more

Always a good burger. Staff is friendly and food is fresh and cooked well. The fries are my favorite of most major chain.

SO. MANY. FRIES. I love this place. The food is consistently good and way more than I ever am capable of eating. I end up spending around 10 bucks each time and it's definitely worth the price. The service here is great and I haven't had a bad experience here. read more

I hadn't been here in well over five years. I do not remember the prices being this high. I had a cheese burger, small fry, and a drink the total cost was $14! For this price I'm expecting a great cheese burger...I was somewhat disappointed the cheese burger didn't have any flavor and it's small compared to other burger places in town. Their spicy fries were good and they do give you more than one person can eat. I think it'll be another five years before I go back. read more

The hamburger was very average there were a lot of fries but they were limp as noodles and so greasy the sack they were in was dripping grease. read more

Nice place, nice staff, amazing burgers. Place is a bit small, but that's hardly a complaint. I enjoy coming here every time, its like a birthday treat. One of the top 5 burger places in town, easily. read more

Went in on a sunday at around 2pm... restaurant was steady but moving fast. Placed my order for a double cheeseburger with nearly all the toppings, regular fries and a regular drink. The young woman taking my order was friendly and got my order correct. Now, the price its a little high but for the quality of the food makes up for it! My order came out fast even though they were kind of busy(5-7 minutes). They have two soda machines, those new touchscreen kind ( I dont like those) too many options can take a while for people to make up their mind, especially kids, but that's besides the point. My burger was fat, juicy, and neat, the cook took the time and crafted a well made burger. & the fries oh my gosh, apart from being delicious, and well seasoned they gave you a ton of fries! Excellent place to eat! Come here if you want great service and great food! read more

Cheese burger with extra cheese, mushrooms and jalapeños. Perfection. Decently priced upfront so they don't have to up-charge for every little thing like other places. Cajun fries are awesome and always get extra in the bag. And to top it all off, the best Oreo shake ever. read more

I like the burgers here, they make them pretty good. But the fries and drink are separate and for a meal it's like 15$. I think that is way over priced also they don't have anything special here. It Is just a burger pretty much. read more

fresh cooked patties, and melty cheeses, and all the toppings your heart desires. combined with a ridicous portion of fresh cut fries. the Result? Deliciousness read more

Poor customer service. The patties are smaller than the other 5 guys location in town. The lettuce is always old, hot, and wilted on the burgers. The shakes were super running and a waste of money. read more

We have been eating here since it opened and love Five Guys but the last 3 times we have eaten at this location it was not a good experience. They staff is a bunch of young kids who act like they really don't care if you eat here or not. The music is horrible, they have been blasting head banging music loud enough you can't even have a conversation. We won't be returning for awhile, hopefully some changes will be made! read more

This is a really good place for those who like juicy burgers I really love the flavor and the hospitality that the employees showed

Very good burger with plenty of toppings. All stacked together you can hardly get a bite. Fresh cut taters for the fries. I'll make it by here again when I'm back through. read more

Ate here last evening great service, awesome burgers and fries. I will certainly be back. Actually I had originally went to Steak and Shake but after setting at a table for 10 minutes with no service I left and came here. Thank you Steak and Shake for your poor service, it got a me a delicious meal. read more

We had four burgers and one order of large fries. The burgers were delicious, with free toppings, and the one order of fries was enough for everyone. I've never ate there before and my mullet rocking uncle brought us. I think the employees were taken back a bit at the awesomeness that was his mullet. Overall good experience. The only thing was that my jalapenos on my burger didn't have any heat but hey it happens. read more
