Have called a lunch order on two different occasions. Whoever the guy is that answers the phone is extremely rude. On the first occasion, I ordered a regular burger combo meal. He began to ask me what ounce size patty I wanted? I've never been asked this when I've ordered here before. He asked as if I should know what ounce size patty I should order. The second and the last occasion he asked the same thing. Was very rude again. I finally made it through all the questions, and the guy just hung the phone. I was going to not pick up my order but I figured the other employees had no fault in this guys rude behavior. Will not be back, plenty of other places in 34th where you can get a greasy burger!!! read more

I was hoping for so much more. Went to Miss Ann's 3 times and 2 of them they had closed early, so I did not get to eat there. On my 3rd trip I did get to try their burgers and fries. They were ok. Was hoping for a good ole greasy burger and fries. What I actually got was a standard thin pre-formed patty on a basic bun with cold fries. I hear they were the best in town at one time. read more

I've lived in Lubbock for 13 years and somehow this is my first time here. We had the fried cod dinner with okra and the jumbo cheeseburger with onion rings. The fish had a great crunch and flavor, and the okra very tasty. The burger was excellent and the toasted bun was a bonus. Miss Ann's will definitely be in the rotation going forward. read more

The food here is really good. But my main issue with this place are the hours. They're very inconsistent and the hours that they have posted does not mean that's when they will be opened. They are not good about answering their phones either. We've called to just make sure they were going to be open, but didn't get an answer. Once we drove there thinking maybe they were just so busy they couldn't answer, but turned out only the drive thru was open & the dining room was closed (we were looking for dine in that night), no note on the door or anything. We decided to go again with the intention of ordering through the drive thru (we tried to call ahead again but there was once again no answer) but this time they were just closed all together. With all of the other similar restaurants in the area we just usually go to one of those. They seem to do great business during the lunch hours Tu-Fri so I guess anything else they open up for is a bonus. But should you by chance catch them open, I would for sure recommend them. read more

Burger Tour 2023: so after a plethora of recommendations we moved Miss Ann's Classic Diner to the front of the line with terrific results! If you want to travel back in time and get a good, old fashioned burger, Miss Ann's is your place. There are 3 different sizes of burgers and we got the regular (smallest, which was more than enough for us) I got onion rings and Sylvia got tater tots. There are several things you can add to your burger, green chilies, bacon, jalapeño's, mushrooms,... we both got the plain cheeseburger. There was, however, nothing plain about this cheeseburger! The most is seasoned only with salt and pepper allowing the beef to stand on its own. It's loaded with fresh vegetables and all on a toasted bun. The onion rings were old fashioned, homemade, and perfectly fried. The crazy, large serving of tots were fried the perfect crispiness! The atmosphere was just what you'd expect from a "Classic Diner!" All in all it was a great dinning experience with terrific burgers and a very friendly staff! We highly recommend Miss Ann's and give it +++! read more

Been there several times and never received a good meal. I figured it's been a while since my last visit so I would give them another chance but I never got to place my order. Apparently people can walk up to the drive thru window and have full blown conversations and wait for their order there. I'm finally done with that place. I do not recommend it at all. read more

This was a a call in order. The order taker was very nice and efficient. When I arrived within the time that I was instructed that my order was going to be ready I only waited a couple of minutes. The young gentleman at the window was quite friendly he made sure to ask if I needed anything else i.e condiments. Crazy expensive!!! Our first order was a burger, side of tots, and a coke... $16.50. The second order was a plain and dry burger with cheese, side of tots, side of onion rings, and a coke...$17.50. Then we ordered a small cup of ranch.. over $1. Food was ok nothing special. The theme of the diner is cute. Staff is super friendly. More than likely we won't be back. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have never had an issue with this place. They have great food. I go here at least twice a week for lunch. But today was different. The "Owner" that answered the phone has absolutely no customer service skills at all. He has no phone skills. He made me feel like I was a inconvenience for calling and placing a order. When I asked to speak to the manager, he said he was the manager. I said who is the owner and he said he was. I understand people have bad days but where your the owner you can't afford to have bad days with your loyal customers. He definitely lost my business. Got take-out recently and really enjoyed it. The double burger was nice and beefy and cheesy, the bun held together like a champ and the tots were the best I've had anywhere in town. Service is a little crazy what with the Corona restrictions and them having two windows, but they are trying hard and I think they're doing a good job. I'll be back soon. read more

Went thru the drive thru after calling in my order. The drive they window was opened and someone hollered across the drive in "I'll be right with you!!" I sat there for several minutes and the guy finally showed up....chomping on a big wad of green gum!! GROSS!! He told me to drive around to the pick up window after taking my payment where again I sat for several minutes. As I waited I looked in the window at the cook.....WHO WAS ALSO CHOMPING ON GUM!! Double GROSS!! People dealing in food service should NOT be chewing/chomping/smacking on gum!! Finally "Miss Ann" took over the phone call but "Jay" was still in the background yelling and trying to talk over her.
