It used to be pricey, but now inflation has caught up to it. Few places can you get A1 on a burger. Always more fries than I can eat. And dont forget the peanuts, can't get that at BK. See our travels on Youtube at Coolest Life.

Cheeseburger.

Tf is this?.... poorly made. Doesnt look like the pictures online... this is the saddest and messiest burger ive ever had in my life. No effort put into making this burger nice... the fries have literally no flavor and even the strawberry shake i got aint even that good.... first time eating five guys and glad to say my last time aswell thanks for this sad sad meal.

I don't really have a TON to say just because of the fact that a lot of other reviews have covered the jist of what I have to say, BUT I think people have really forgot to mention how awesome the staff is here. They are super polite and attentive, and I wished that my meal could make me feel as good as they did. The burger was OK - definitely not the best nor the worst. It's hard to really appreciate it when you're used to other places like In-N-Out. I will say though that the food is super filling, so you can get your money's worth when you come here. It's a nice place to visit for something quick and on the go.

Greasy Burgers and more fries than anyone needs to eat. I like this location they have a fun staff. The parking lot does suck tho.

Better than fast food for sure. Lots of toppings allow you to have a different burger any time. The fries were delicious.

Unfortunately, the ice cream wasn't for me. It was overloaded with toppings to the point that I could barely taste the ice cream itself. I love a good balance between the ice cream and the mix-ins, and this just felt like there was way too much going on. The toppings completely overpowered the flavor of the ice cream. We decided to give Johnny Ray's another shot and came back to try the food. Sadly, I wasn't impressed. For the price, I honestly felt like I could have made a better meal at home. Nothing stood out, and it just wasn't worth the money in my opinion. I really wanted to like this place because it's such a fun, inviting spot, but after giving it two separate chances, we've decided we won't be returning for either the food or the desserts. I hate leaving negative reviews, but I also believe in giving an honest account of my experience.

I'm not sure what to say after reading all the reviews on here... I'm left wondering... were we in…read morea parallel universe or something‽‽‽ We stopped in after an appointment I'd had on a Monday in Lees Summit. We decided to have a quick early dinner here in town, and did a Yelp search for "great places to eat near me". This place was high in the list. We read the reviews and found ourselves driving around a building that had ZERO markings for the Burn Theory Fire Kitchen on it, but our Maps app said we were here. Turned out, the food for Burn Theory Fire Kitchen was cooked in a food truck in a parking lot and served inside the Diametric Brewing Company which is located at the address listed for Burn Theory Fire Kitchen. I will say, my husband ordered a special beer called "Cherry Street Wheat" and it was very unusual, and seriously tasty!!! I'm not a beer fan, but would drink one of these any day! So, getting back to the food... we'd both ordered a trio of street tacos that we did a mix and match of with their various proteins. We ordered this way to share with each other. We also love to discover new and unusual bites. After reading the reviews and their menu, we were excited for the promise of something uniquely delicious... and were completely disappointed!!! All but one (excluding the shrimp) of the six different tacos we'd ordered, bordered on the inedible side. The proteins were seemingly overcooked, folded into little leathery tortilla shells, and served to our table cold, dry and tough. They tasted as if they had been reheated from the weekends leftovers. Maybe we came on the wrong day. Perhaps if we'd visited on a weekend, or on the same day they were actually cooking the meats initially, we'd had a better experience. I don't know, and frankly do not plan to find out. Additionally, to be fair, their condiments (ie: the Ketchup and BBQ sauce) seemed to be made fresh and made from scratch. They were sadly the best part of our meal. Honorable mention to the Diametric Brewing Company which served us one of the most delicious and unique beers we've ever tasted!

They bring it straight to you when it's done. The guy who brought ours was super nice. He asked if we needed any utensils or sauce. I was just having a beer and then was taking my grub to go so he brought me a bag to carry everything easily. I ordered the Burn Theory Cubano: House smoked ham and pulled pork, melted Swiss cheese, pickles and house made mustard on toasted brioche. This sandwich was huge! It's very shareable if you're ordering sides. The meat was super smoky and I loved the flavor. It's definitely a top 5 Cuban in KC. We ordered several sides: seasoned fries, smoked Mac and cheese, and a Caesar salad. The Caesar salad was good sized and easily shareable as a starter. I liked the house made dressing. If you wanted to have this as an entree, you have the option to add brisket, chicken, or shrimp. I will definitely consider it in the future. The seasoned fries were pretty standard. My boyfriend liked the seasoning and that they didn't put too much on them. My 3 doggos also enjoyed a few. The smoked Mac and cheese was probably my favorite side and I'll have a hard time getting a different one in the future. The Smokey flavor was perfect and not overwhelming. The pasta wasn't overcooked and the sauce was creamy. I end up at Strange Days pretty often and I feel like this is a perfect addition to the area. I'll definitely be ordering from them in the future while I enjoy a beer.

Most of my orders have been curbside pickup since it's right around the corner from my house, and the process has always been quick and seamless. Let me tell you about the Great Salmon Caper Sandwich. A soft, pillowy brioche bun, flaky grilled salmon, fresh lettuce, tomato, and onion, topped with a creamy, tangy aioli. It is quite literally one of the best salmon sandwiches I've ever had. When I say I'll never get sick of this sandwich, I mean it. It's a genuine 10/10 and one of the main reasons I keep coming back. The Cluckers are also excellent and come with an absurd amount of food. My only complaint is that the chicken pieces can sometimes be so large that the chicken-to-breading ratio feels a little off. Other than that, they're fantastic. The breading is seasoned perfectly, the chicken is juicy, and the price is extremely affordable for the portion size. The homemade honey mustard is also some of the best I've ever had and is easily my favorite dipping sauce on the menu. Wally's is one of those places that never disappoints. Fast service, affordable prices, generous portions, and consistently great food make it an easy recommendation.

Quiet open arrival, but as it quickly gained patrons, it was difficult with hearing aids to carry on a conversation. Old building, high ceilings - - LOTS of conversations. THANKS ERIC (with a C!!) Our food was nicely plated, temperature perfect and portions were VERY generous. The Classic Breakfast was my choice. Eggs cooked as directed, breakfast potatoes, one smallish, breakfast sausage in natural casing. A steak knife would have been helpful. I don't know the brand of bacon they serve, but it was FABULOUS! Thick sliced, prepared beautifully and mmmm, mmmm GOOD! The plate includes a Cheddar Biscuit. It is BIG and delicious LOOKING! I had to bring it, half of my potatoes and the sausage "to go". My husband ordered the Sausage, Egg & Cheese Biscuit. He was not a fan of the less than tasty sausage. #DIL ordered a Chicken Biscuit - - she shared a bite of the chicken. Let's just say, I KNOW what I will be ordering NEXT time we go. Our grandson ordered his favorite Biscuits & Gravy. HUGE portions, suitable for a growing young man. We will be back! P.S. I'm not sure why we were treated that way. When the food arrived, my boyfriend's burger was completely different from what he ordered. He ordered a BBQ burger with extra crispy bacon, but it came with no sauce and no bacon at all. My burger was very dry, and the fries were overcooked. I do like crispy fries, but these were far beyond that. I assume the food issues were a kitchen mistake. On a positive note, the ambiance was nice, and our server was kind and attentive. She checked on us more than three times. My boyfriend is so kind and he didn't want to send the burger back.
