I'm not going to do a huge review on this just cover the basics on this location Food- honestly there burgers and fries are the best I ever had in terms of fast service food. I haven't tried their other items, but I've heard good things about it. They give you tons of fries even if you order a small. Customer Service- literally they are always so upbeat and happy. Willing to converse with you and such, and help accommodate. I've never had an issue but I'm sure if I did they'd fix it right away in my opinion Dining- plenty of seats and room. I finally tried Five Guys. My husband has been to the one in Vacaville and has been talking this place up. I did the smart thing by placing my order online. The line was huge when I got there, but all I had to do was go to the pick up line and wait for my fries. The staff was friendly, but it does seem like they are trying to find their rhythm. I ordered a little cheeseburger w/ jalapenos, tomato, lettuce, onion, mustard and A-1. I also had the cajun style fries. It was good and fresh, but not as good as home-made. I liked the burger better than In-n-Out's. Beware, the jalapenos are raw and can be HOT! Also, don't go too crazy on all the toppings because that may make your burger less satisfying. read more

We brought some friends that were visiting here as we were driving through and we were happy. The food was great and more than enough for everyone. Our order was correct for all 6 of us. This location was clean including the bathrooms. The only down side that we ran into was that the service was very slow. We were the only people in there ordering at the time and it took us a while to get the food compared to other locations I have been to. Showed up 10 minutes before closing and two employees by the name of Nathan and John catered to everyone of our specific needs and request In a diligent and extremely patient manner. Although they were close to closing they were in no way shape or form rushing to get our party out of the restaurant nor was the quality and preparation of our food compromised in an effort to "expedite" the process. Extremely friendly customer service exemplified by these two employees. Made my overall experience at this particular 5 Five Guys bar none. Not really sure why this company offers online ordering. I ordered 3 burgers and an order of fries. Was given a time to pick up that was 10-13 minutes. I had ordered online before and my food wasn't ready so I waited ten extra minutes before arriving. When I got there the cook said it would be 2-3 more minutes for my fries. In other words, they waited until I arrived to cook the fries. I presume this is so people won't complain about getting cold fries when they show up. But that's the issue. If I order online, I'm assuming ALL the food will be prepared by the time I get there. I'm assuming the risk of cold food by ordering online. If I wanted to wait while something is cooked to ensure I receive hot food, I'd come in, order, sit, and carry it out! I order online to save time. How am I saving time if I have to wait for something? What do people do at lunch time when they only have a half hour for lunch? Are they forced to wait as well? Just fix the food when I order. 2.5 stars. Not sure what the hype is about. Better fries than In N Out but 5 guys gets blown away in the burger comparison. Not even close. Because of the location, this place doesn't seem to get too packed. I've been here twice, and both times I found the service to be very good, and the food delicious. The food does come a little slow but I guess if you want your hamburger cooked fresh, you'll have to wait a little longer? What I love about this place is that you can order all the toppings you want on your burger and most are included at no charge. I found that if you plan to add quite a few toppings, these burgers are VERY filling so get the smallest burger. The regular size burger is too much food, and I can normally eat quite a bit. As far as the fries go, they overfill the cup and put quite a few extra in the bag, so if you have two people in your party, don't order two fries or it's way too many! Just order 1 and it will easily feed two people. lastly, this burger is pretty greasy (as it should be) but keep in mind that there isn't anything healthy about eating here. Really good Patties, great fries-Cajun is just the right amount of spice, and crispy too. best bacon in a burger in a while -hella crispy. My friend thought it was too messy with the toppings dropping out but I think that's a plus, more bang for your buck. read more

I came to the store at 3:40 and already standing in front of the register some woman prepping the food yells I'll be there in a minute. After about 15 minutes waiting in the front of the line in a restaurant with 4 tables filled of about 2 people each that woman still didn't take our order. In fact a man came in and within the first minute he saw my mother and my brother and I waiting at the front of the register he took our order then went about in the back. This man hadn't even clocked in but wow 1 of my stars goes to him. Our receipt says 3:58 as the time we got our order. After waiting and sitting no one else came into the store so I'm not sure how we ended up getting the wrong food and receiving our food on 4:10 because honestly not even 80% of the chairs were filled. We originally ordered large Cajun fries but only received regular fries. We weren't able to complain at all because we only realized they weren't Cajun on the drive back because we didn't think we would be at the restaurant for more than 15 minutes and we were rushing. Should have never gone here. To anyone that goes here go only if you have the time to tolerate bad customer service and time in general, because yes the food is decent, pricey but ok. Best burgers I've ever had. Last night I went to five guys bought a double cheeseburger with everything and it was the biggest juicy burger you could ever had. It was like $11 dollars for the burger and fries and their canyun fries are just great. OMG - What kind of garbage are these people selling. I ordered a hamburger and fries and I was completely astonished at the large "grease" stains on the bag; in a matter of seconds, the grease went through the bag and on to my shirt. OMG - I was there last night and it was the worst. Once order was placed it took 25 minutes to get 5 burgers and fries and then it was wrong. After talking with shift manager he remade the 2 wrong burgers which took another 20 minutes and 1 of them was still wrong. When I told the manager about it being wrong again the girl in the back called us a liar stating we did not tell her what we wanted on the burger. I told the girl she was the one who wrote the remake tag and how could she not say she did not know. After being called a liar, I was done with the place. Also the burgers that we did get that were right were overcooked, dry and luke warm. The fries were hot but WAY over salted. In talking with the shift manager he said they are understaffed and too busy. They were not busy (maybe 4 families in there) but they were making lots of orders wrong last night. While we were there, there was 3 other parties that got their burgers wrong that had to be remade. read more

Flavorless meat, not even salted. Single patty was small- the meat ended a good 1.5 inches from the edge of the bun. I ordered a single cheeseburger, kosher dog, and small fry and small drink. $19- almost $20 bucks for that, I nearly keeled over there. 25 minute wait to get my food. They yell out a number and you have to go back up to get it. Had a brief argument over mustard with the guy who handed me my food. I sat back down, after wading thru the garbage littered across the floor, my table was greasy and dirty, no trays for a eat in order, so I had to tear my bag apart to make my own tray to eat off of. It was awful- had to chase the meat to the back edge of the bun, then tear away 2 inches to get the first bite of COLD flavorless meat. Fry's were so-so, overloaded with oil, but compared to the meat at least they were HOT... DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! read more

Went in to pick up web order, and showed the staff the order number. Staff asked what's the name on the order. I showed the text and stated your company only provided the order number. Anyway, they yelled back to the other staff and ask is there a web order and they gathered the name. I confirmed the name and was told our order would be right up. It was not at all ready when stated it was so late passed the time, I thought it may have been better ordering inside. When the order was completed and called, they didn't even include the whole order. We called and explained that they forgot the two shakes, and was told we could drive back and they can remake them. We asked for a refund, and was told they needed the card and we would have to come back. If your staff can not get the order correct then your company should not inconvenience the customer anymore by requiring we drive back in for a refund. Ordered online and should be able to be refunded online. Bad business. Recommend going to the Vacaville location, because they seem to have a better ran five guys. read more

We love Five Guys for a delicious guilty pleasure of burgers and fries. We usually go to the restaurant in Redding, but we were heading for the Bay Area and stopped into the one in Solano Center. The burgers were great as usual, but this time the fries were a disappointment. They were stale, as if they had been sitting around for way too long. We were there a little before 6 pm, and we felt they were left over from the 5 pm rush. We'll still go to Five Guys, but make sure the fries are fresh. read more
