Top bun of my Cheeseburger
Kimberley D.

The bun was so soggy I couldn't even eat it... turned into a paste... yeah their burgers are more on the wet side, but I have never had it sopping wet. Huge disappointment and probably won't come back ‍

Half my order

Waited 35 minutes to receive my order, I ordered two burgers and two little fries. After my extensive wait, I grab my food and head home, only to realize at my dinner table that my wife's burger and fries were completely missing! (My fault for not checking the bag, but I really shouldn't have to if people did their jobs.) It's one thing to be slow and methodical in your work, but to be slow and miss an entire half of a $50+ order is just incompetent!

Five Guys turns out a tasty burger featuring unlimited free toppings. The Little Hamburger came with one perfectly-grilled patty on a soft sesame seed bun, and I topped mine with lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, green peppers, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, jalapeños, hot sauce, and A1 steak sauce. The bulging burger was wrapped in foil and had lots of bite variety--my favorite toppings were the grilled mushrooms, hot sauce, and tangy A1, a luxurious addition to a fast food burger! Another cool part about Five Guys is that they offer free roasted, salted, shell-on peanuts for snacking--such a cool perk!

The worse place for fries Used oil making fries That makes you sick Not first time Every time i go there

Cheeseburger- Yes the price is expensive but its better to compare it to a burger restaurant and not fast food. Cause the burger tastes awesome. Buns were a lil floppy, less substance to them, but the patty was deliciously high quality, the whole burger was a big size but just big enough where you dont have to dislocate your jaw to bite. I got "all the way" (which is all the ingredients, pickle mayo mustard mushrooms etc, and no extra cost), and burger was saucy and delicious, surprised they even got mushrooms! I'd say the burger is worth the price. Regular fries- When I got the bag, it was very satisfyingly full, mostly because the regular fries filled up like 90% of the bag, awesome. Fries are a nice length and good slight chewy texture to it, fun to bite. Got so full and still have a full cup of fries and more left Extra I forgot they just got free peanuts too! In the middle of the restaurant and just get however many you want self serve. Bathroom is clean, paper dispenser in there looks pretty kitchen is super stripped down and theres this one guy I think the chef who sounds like he really got the whole kitchen down, very efficient. Wait time was a lil long around 10 min. Every worker (besides my cashier) got like a mexican accent. Dispenser area for ketchup, other seasonings and malt vinegar. 5 star for 5 guys

Five guys. Not a ton to say, great fresh burgers and fries that fall out of the bag due to the massive quantity. Nice staff and Absolutely delicious food. Just be sure to take a loan out before ordering

Good burger and good hot dog! Price seems a bit high for cheeseburger ($11). It was intense (like about to have a heartache) but in a good way. lol. The place wasn't crowded on a Friday lunch hour. Service was nice. They make all the food to go even for dining in. Causal dining for sure. Suitable for family, teens, big gathering for after sports practices. Happy eating!

She needs to fix her attitude before somebody else does it for her.
Hayfa D.

I went in last week and told the young female at the register my order, before all that I was asking her if she had certain items on the menu and she had a nasty attitude and told me no. So I continue to look at the menu and finally order a few meals for me and my kids. So when I was done ordering I told her to go over my order so I know she got it right. She went over it and made a few mistakes so I correct her and told her what to put in and take out. By this time she was huffing and puffing and was rushing me even tho there was nobody behind me. So after a few times of her fixing my order because it was so "hard" for her to put in my order, she prints out my receipt and throws it as me. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

Best burger I had was at five guys..... The juiciness of the meat and the amount of ingredients can't be matched. A bit expensive, though.

This place (obviously) has great reviews so I decided to go. And it certainly meets the hype The staff was very friendly--I let them know it's my first time there so I needed a bit of time to look over the menu--and they were very helpful letting me know the options. I got the Friday I'm In Love and it was amazing. Great size, absolutely packed with meat, amazing flavor. This was a 10/10. The garlic spread was delicious, the slaw was seasoned very well, and everything was very fresh and flavorful. Dutch crunch also had great texture. My only possible complaint was that the meat wasn't very evenly distributed as you can see in the pic, but that's a very minor complaint. To reiterate, this was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Unfortunately I'm not very close to Livermore, but anytime I'm close by in the future, I absolutely want to stop by again. I highly, highly recommend this place for a sandwich!

Mostly…read morebecause I don't like crowds, downtown hangouts, open seating, food with live music, loud music unless it's a concert-only event, etc. So why was I at this happenin' downtown P-town spot on a Fri night? Because my friend's band (shoutout to Bored of Directors!) was performing and of course that means I'm there to support him. The scene was everything I would normally avoid like the plague (or the "razor throat" strain of Covid-19 as it may be). Nevertheless, this place is cool! Very chill, not pretentious at all. Glad I scoured previous reviews so I knew what to expect: go past the front door and tables, down the alley to enter at the backyard; order drinks at the left side of the bar, food on the right. Picnic type tables scattered about for shared seating. "Stage" area set up in the corner. The beer selection was great, servers were friendly and helpful (and patient with us newbies). We did not have food so I can't comment on that. The band was awesome and played a mix of songs from 1970s thru 2000s. People were dancing, singing along. It was a great night! Not something I would choose to do if Bored of Directors wasn't playing, but when they come back around, I wouldn't hesitate! So go, have fun! There was a birthday celebration happening at a few of the tables in the front yard. Guests looked to be in their 30s to early 40s so I'm guessing that's the regular clientele here. Oh, and we found parking across the street in a center where a lot of businesses are. Some of the spots are reserved for the businesses but there are plenty that aren't. Or you could just risk the wrath of the Pleasanton PD and hope you don't get ticketed or towed. And of course, designate a driver before imbibing!

Solid. Not sure how long this burger joint has been here, but I've always known of it by passing by many, many times over the course of 30+ years. But only tried just recently. There's seating both inside and outside. Inside the walls are totally covered with pictures of classic cars/trucks and interestingly enough of horse racing culture, since the county fairgrounds are super nearby. Pics of horses from past generations and their jockeys and owners. I thought that was an interesting local imprint. Mushroom Swiss Burger ($11/4*) So 'giant burger' is in their name. Even though the patty itself isn't monstrous, maybe a 1/3 lb at most, it is quite sizeable, much bigger than most fast food versions. After scarfing down my burger, I'd say I was slightly fuller than eating a double at In & Out. But this was also almost double on what I'd pay at In & Out. But since I'm a quintessential old schooler myself, I'll pay this price of admission here, no prob. The Burger Patty: Nice and juicy. Good quality and just flat top griddled. I had to season my patty with a little salt n pep from those packets. There's a special sauce that flavors the sandwich, a mayo/ketchup blend is my guess. The Produce: They use shredded lettuce and everything was quite fresh. Just very messy as lots of things will spill out on each bite. The cooked mushrooms were a little light but still noticeable in most bites. The Cheese: The 'swiss' labeled is basically a white colored American cheese, super soft and gooey. Not my fave, but a burger may be the only time I welcome American cheese. The Bun: They use basic sesame American buns. Super factory quality, but again for the basic American burger experience, I think this is fine. Just wished they toasted it more, as it became a mushy mess after even just halfway through. I'd say the bun was my least favorite aspect of this burger experience. Onion Rings ($7ish/5*): My friend said he saw them use a frozen product to drop in the fryer. But damn this was one of the best onion rings I've ever had from a burger joint. Super crisp, just oily enough and no artificial factory flavor. I could taste the onion and the crisp batter, and that batter stayed crisp for the whole meal, even after it cooled a bit. These are a must here. Fries: I tried a small handful from my friends bag as we were sharing our sides. They are of medium thickness and they crisp them nice. They also salt them with a good shake, and the oil they use seemed very clean. Even at Mc Donalds I'll often get grossed out by fries cooked in old oil. Blech! Not here, quite proper. I'm throwing them a fiver, just to show that a fiver doesn't have to be mind-blowing or life changing. Just has to fulfill expectations with a smile, and make me leave satisfied and happy. Check, check...and check!
